A community for people who have not given-up the fight for a Bernie Sanders presidency.

Basic Guidelines

  1. Obey Reddit's rules.

  2. No CTR/ShareBlue trolls. If David Brock wants to tell us something, he can come here and say it, himself. If you just show up and start randomly accusing people of being super-secret Trump supporters or Russian spies (you'd be surprised how often we get slandered with that by neoliberal troll accounts), we'll probably assume you're one of Brock's trolls and ban you without warning. Brock's trolls completely destroyed S4P back in 2016 and we won't allow that to happen here.

  3. Pretty much anything else goes in terms of what you can say. Just remember that free speech is a two-way street and it doesn't protect you from downvotes.

  4. This sub advocates a Bernie Sanders presidency, period. We are the supporters who didn't throw in the towel and surrender in the face of corruption.

  5. No giving-up hope! They can't take it from us unless we let them.

Bernie Sanders: I stand in solidarity with @AlphabetWorkers who are organizing to form a union at Google. What these workers are fighting for is not radical. They want fair wages and a workplace free from abuse, retaliation, intimidation and discrimination. And that is exactly what they deserve.

Bernie Sanders: No, Donald Trump, there are no votes for you to find. The American people have spoken and at 12:01 pm on January 20, you will no longer be president.

Bernie Sanders: It is a sad and tragic day for our country that 140 members of the House of Representatives, 13 senators and a defeated president are attempting to undermine American democracy and our Constitution. They will not succeed.

Bernie Sanders: Joe Biden will be President at noon on January 20. Republican attempts to overturn the election only demonstrate their disdain for voters, democracy and the will of the American people.

Bernie Sanders: I am on the Senate floor with a compromise: Let us vote on both $2,000 survival checks and McConnell's alternative, and see where the chips fall. Working families need help NOW. Let us not go home until the American people see their Senators vote! https://t.co/7Y9rita2LF

Bernie Sanders: Today, I will ask that the Senate vote yes or no on two bills: 1. The House passed $2,000 survival checks 2. Mitch McConnell’s alternative bill What objection could he possibly have to voting on his own bill? Let the Senate vote on $2,000 checks, Mitch!

Bernie Sanders: Mitch McConnell says $2,000 checks are "socialism for the rich." Ha! Here are the tax rebate checks corporations received from Trump's tax plan: Amazon: $129 million Delta: $187 million Chevron: $181 million GM: $104 million IBM: $342 million That's socialism for the rich!

Bernie Sanders: I’m delighted that Mitch McConnell suddenly decided to care about “socialism for the rich”! That means the huge tax breaks for billionaires that he helped pass—not the $2,000 direct payments that America’s struggling working-class families desperately need.

Bernie Sanders: All of a sudden, Mitch McConnell is "worried" about giving a $2,000 check to someone who "doesn't need it." That's funny. He had no problem giving a $560 million tax break to Sheldon Adelson who is worth $34.3 billion. Total hypocrisy! Let the Senate vote on $2,000 now, Mitch!

Bernie Sanders: Republican leadership has endless amounts of money for bloated military budgets and tax breaks for billionaires. But when working families need help, oh my God, we can’t afford it! I am a little tired of that hypocrisy.

Bernie Sanders: The American people deserve to know: Does their Senator support or oppose providing a $2,000 direct payment to the working class? Mitch McConnell has the right to vote against this legislation. But he should not have the right to block a vote. https://t.co/4lIxKnjXYp

Bernie Sanders: All of a sudden Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans are worried that someone in America might get a $2,000 check "who doesn't need it." Funny. They had no problem giving a $1.4 billion tax break to Charles Koch and his family with a net worth of $113 billion. What hypocrisy!

Bernie Sanders: Trump supports the $2,000 payments, Biden supports the $2,000 and the American people support $2,000. McConnell must allow a vote on the $2,000 payments now.

Bernie Sanders: "If we want to restore faith in our government, now is the time to address the pain, and the anxiety and the fear that so many of our people are feeling," Sen. Sanders says about the need for Covid-19 stimulus checks. "Let us do this $2,000 per adult."

Bernie Sanders: Two-thirds of the House voted to provide $2,000 in direct payments to the working class. Now it’s the Senate’s turn to do that—no excuses. Unless McConnell agrees to a vote on $2,000 relief checks, Congress will be spending New Year’s Eve in the Capitol. https://t.co/YYNYub2xFE

Bernie Sanders: This week on the Senate floor Mitch McConnell wants to vote to override Trump's veto of the $740 billion defense funding bill and then head home for the New Year. I'm going to object until we get a vote on legislation to provide a $2,000 direct payment to the working class.

Bernie Sanders: Let's be clear: The top 1% & large corporations did NOT need a $1 trillion tax break. The U.S. did NOT need to spend $6 trillion on endless wars. The billionaire class does NOT need to pay a lower tax rate than the bottom 90%. The working class NEEDS a $2,000 survival check.
