Lighters. Cheap ones, expensive ones, the one you bought in the head shop or the Zippo your grandfather passed on to you. We want to see them!

Bring a picture of the lighter lit by your beautiful girlfriend, a story about how you shoplifted your first lighter or about the person you met using your steampunk lighter. We want to hear.

Anyone know the production years of these?
First time post here and could use some help! I received this vintage Evans table lighter from my grandma and would love to get it working again, but I cannot figure out how to disassemble it.
I don’t see any noticeable rivets (other than a tiny one on the cap that flips down to cover the wick, which appears to be unrelated to the rest of the body), and I don’t want to risk prying anything apart.
Any ideas? Happy to post additional pics/angles as needed.
Hi there, I know nothing about the lighter world, but I just bought this Hadson lighter at an auction for 10 usd and wanted to know if it is worth anything. I bid on it because it looked nice and completely forgot about it. Should i keep it? I could find the model on internet, found almost no pictures on google.
Call it facile, but I always try to buy high quality things with the hope of one day passing them on to someone else, or at the very least carrying them for years so that I can grow some memories and sentimentality for them. How would you recommend picking out a lighter to fit that? I'm not lookin' for a $20 zippo from the gas station, c'mon, I got standards. But also not some cheesy Dupont lighter with some gold tacked onto it to try justifying a $1500 price tag. Where would you recommend finding a lighter like that?
So I've tried purging and refilling multiple times etc, but when I press the igniter I see a spark but I don't hear any gas coming through (or a minute amount if any) so it won't seem to ignite...changing flame size doesn't seem to do anything either...I only got this lighter a few days ago so I'm kinda bummed out as it was pricey! Is there an easy way to fix this? Ideally I don't wanna be taking it apart etc
I may just end up having to try to return it but if It's an easy fix I'd rather not need to wait for the return to be sorted out!
Any help would be appreciated cheers!
I got this local in my city. I can’t find a single image match on google. Are made in USA kreislers really that rare?
I recently found this in a box I received after my grandfather passed and only opened now years after the fact. I was just wondering if anybody had any history on this thing. If it helps my grandfather was a full bird colonel for the air force in the late 60s to early 70s, and eventually became a contractor at Boeing. I guess I’m wondering if these were handed out as keepsakes or for some other reason.
