Can you say which piezoelectric disposable(so β cheap) lighter with normal(NOT turbo!!) flame is the best on your opinion, and, maybe, also say your reviews on not so good or even bad piezoelectric disposable cheap lighters. On my life I used only one such β in was from Lion. I remembered how it worked, pretty stable but very low weak flame. I also know such manufacturers: Bic, Fox, Frog, Cricket(but I didn't found any cricket piezoelectric lighters in my country, I'm from Ukraine, have no clue why they are disappeared, cuz in some online shops I see "out of stock"), KKK, Laoban, Fenix, Smile, Baida, DN. If you used some of those brands please write about your experience! Also should say that I'm not a smoker, I need lighter more for camping or survival-like tasks. So I need powerfull flame, reliability, safety and working during cold periods of the year(lowest temperature is about -10 or -15 by Celsius, but such temps are very rare, usually about +-0 β -5 by Celsius)
Sorry for bad or primitive English, if smth. Feel free to report about mistakes π
Documenting and showcasing to yall this lighter, I just sold to someone.
I have a 1979 Casio QL-10
calculator, lighter, alarm clock all in one.
Was working fine but the igniter seems dead now doesn't produce a click or spark.
Manual simply states a piezo electric but I cant find a model that looks the same.
Tried contacting casio but they told me they dont even have the model in their online database anymore lol.
So, i bought this cheap lighter and I was fixing it, but while i was adjusting the piezoelectic cable to create the spark my hand slipped and tje screwdriver i was holding hit the spring (circled in red in the photo) now the flame won't light because it comes out of the bottom and not the top of that spring. Is there any way to fix this or do i need to change the entire piece? I was even thinking of adding a piece of copper to bring the spark to the bottom of the valve but seems a bit much.
I'm looking for a basic single jet torch lighter that isn't crazy expensive and isn't too bulky.
I want to be able to keep it in my pocket and I'd like a sight glass so I know what it's getting low on fuel.
Hey Fellas, I recently bought my first gasoline lighter an imco triplex. I love the intelligent design but the cap that sits on top of the tank to prevent leak seems a bit loose. It aint rly an issue cause itβs still serving itβs purpose but I was wondering wheter this is a common issue of this lighter and if u guys know a βfixβ for it.
Is it just dirty? can I scrape it out?
Now he told me if i can find out what lighters they are but i cant find them online, so if someone knows the name and everything about them can someone plz let me know, thx
My uncle said it was at his house for a long time and decided to give it to me. He doesn't know anything about it, he doesn't even remember where this lighter is from, I searched the internet and didn't find anything
Hello can somebody please help me find a vintage lighter. I will attempt to describe it to the best of my abilities. There was a wall mounted pad that was plugged into an outlet. Next to the pad was a rod that appeared to be entirely made of metal. When the metal rod was slid against the metal pad it would create sparks and light the metal rod on fire. That's all I know please help me my grandpa was talking about it and I want to find one for him. Thank you π
I've been wanting one for ages but nowhere sells it!
Got this beauty at my local thrift market. Inserting the flint makes me feel like I'm loading a gun lmao
Got a lighter with integrated permanent match. Never used one before. Seen a couple of videos where the flame is doused by simply putting the match back in to the hole while it's still burning.
Would it be safer to blow it out first? It's still extremely hot without the flame.
Also the fuel must have a way to lightly douse the match head? Just seems like a chain reaction waiting to happen. I trust they're designed to accommodate the temperature but it feels risky putting a hot object inside a container filled with gas while holding it in my hand, ya know?
Hi! I bought this lighter at a yard sale not knowing if it works or not, and it seems to have some issues. The butane opening is worn down, so that might be my biggest problem, I canβt get it to openβ¦ Also, The thing you press on top wonβt open all the way, so the fire would touch the handle. Is that fixable? (Bottom right pic)
Does anyone know if itβs possible to fix? I guess Iβll just have to try harder with the butane opening.
Are there any places that you can get a quality vintage lighter that works or any good places to get quality replicas/ remakes. I just want somewhere to look for good old looking cool lighters(that work)
