Where can I buy a St Dupont Le grand Ligne 2 for the a decent price in Canada? I don’t wanna buy it in the states because of the custom duty. I don’t mind if it’s used but in very good condition I just want it to be authentic
Hi All. I have a 1970s ligne 2 thats been leaking from the fire adjustment column side. Ive gotten the tools to fix it,so have taken out the column, replaced all its o rings as well as the small valve’s o ring. That helps for a few days, but at some point it just starts leaking again, to which I just replace the rings but then the cycle continues. Is there anything I could be doing wrong? Or any other seals I should look at replacing?
Finally arrived !
Hey guys, I'm in the market of buying my first "newer" lighter, as far as the authentication goes the serial number method doesnt work since I believe that all newer lighters have their serial numbers lazered in rather than hand stamped. I want to buy the Fluo Le Grand and since its a black ligher, its hard to tell quality by the pictures. Are there any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
Is a new Ligne 2 Perfect Ping worth buying? I’ve seen several post from a few years ago on how cheap this brand has become. Does this still hold true?
Hello! Is anyone here from Belgium? I'll be visiting soon and would love to know where I can find vintage Dupont lighters. Please feel free to contact me privately if you'd prefer
Looking to buy this, is this real?
Hello there, My father has recently passed away and we found 2 S. T. DuPont lighters and 1 box. I am trying to identify what model are the lighters and which of them has the box. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks
Hi Dupont enthusiasts!
My friend and I need a bit of a hand here, for my friend has bought this lighter just today under a foggy Milanese sky. I own two duponts from the 70s already, and I think this came out in the 80s, but -in all honesty- I have never seen this finishing of the case.
Furthermore, I noticed that on the bottom there is a small oval and a 4 next to it... it seems original to me (the stamp is pristine, the serial number is hand stamped and letters unevenly spaced, logo is pristine,...). But what does that 4 mean?
Anything (even the name of the finishing) or additional info will be super helpful in identifying the lighter
Thank you :)

They use this image for advertising their 1872 Monogram series. Is it me or is asking 1.2k for a lighter that doesn't even have a smooth finish on the machined pattern an absolute joke? For some reason it really bothers me that you can see every single step the machine made engraving the pattern.
I would like to buy a holiday souvenir from St Dupont. I smoke cigars regularly and would like a compact storm lighter.
What model is your recommendation? What should I pay attention to?
Hi everybody, I am new to the lighter community, recently I just bought this St Dupont lighter. Can someone tell me the model and the year?
Hi guys I love the Dupont lighters but I am curious where do you guys seem to find all these deals? I am a non smoker do I sound never use it for expensive cigars but I really want to collect. It's it eBay or other European specific websites etc?
