I don´t only mean what the Water Tribes and Republic City and the spirits will be doing with them now that they are open and public use. I also mean there´s knowledge about how to create them. Theoretically is impossible to do it without the Avatar, but so it was to make a new one all together.
So, any expectations about humans trying to create new Spirit Portals or figuring out how to close them?
Personally, I think as generations and tech progresses in the this universe would be a good center of conflict for new stories, and a trama that could be passed on from one Avatar to the next generations after Korra´s death
My is 3 or 4.
Korra open The Spirit Portal in the Solstice of Winter, so Season 2 is Winter. Season 1 was 6 months Ago, but we see Republic city full with snow. It's confused.
I feel called to be apart of the growing voices to celebrate LOK instead of hating it. Just want to know what this community would like. I started using this platform as a preamble to my YouTube to just learn how the internet behaves to these sorts of things. So now I'm asking the Krew for help. What do you all want from LOK content creators?
Here's the setup: Korra is poisoned and still suffers from PTSD not going into her avatar state.
Kuvira takes over the earth kingdom and Korra never wants to fight her and the air nomads continue to find her.
Iirc a new animated show with a earth avatar is 2025? And there's supposed to be movies and more live action avatar. And games.
I'm most excited for the korra series sequel. Avatar is for most a tv show to me. What do all expect from the new series? Hopefully better treatment then korra got at the end.

Where he achieve This Power ?
We know that Unalaq is a liar who got his brother banished by hiring the bandits knowing Tonraq would destroy a spirit forest Soley to gain power, which sort of defeats his whole "want to take care of spirts argument". And that he did this to fuse Vaatu the spirt of darkness and Chaos which will cause more dark sprits.
However, without this knowledge any of this knowledge Tonraq comes off kind of bad.
Like he's angry at his brother for becoming chief because he was banished for something he causes. He didn't know it was Unalaq's fault.
Not to mention he's actively ignoring the Dark spirits coming their way even though he knows what spirits are capable of in the past. And ignoring his brother who he knows is an expert on spirits
He also really has no reason not to trust Unalaq, since he seen proof, the dark spirits attacking and what ignoring him led too. Heck him not trusting his own brother really doesn't look good for him.
Heck they even did again with Tonraq basically ignoring how the Avatar is supposed to do which is travel the world and learn the elements just because they thought they knew what was best, better than how the rules are set up. Thanks to that explanation in book 3 it forgives him but he didn't mention that when he was questioned by Korra.
I just find it a little hard to believe that he didn’t grow up hearing the stories about his dad’s past experiences with certain spirits. Like the time he dealt with a giant, pissed off panda that was kidnapping innocent people that had nothing to do with the crime it was upset about. Or the time Aang met a creepy centipede thing that can steal faces. Or the time a certain librarian owl tried to kill the gaang for perceived misuse of it’s sacred knowledge. LOK has even shown us that there are spirits capable of painfully possessing people, which is the plot of turf wars with that one tirade criminal getting possessed.
Bottom line is that spirits can be very unpredictable and dangerous if you end up getting on their bad side, or might even just do it for shits and giggles. Some don’t seem to really operate on what we would consider basic morality. History has also shown that there are people out there that either don’t know, or don’t care how their actions may cause spirits to act out, which is exactly what happened during the fire nation’s conquest.
You might peg me as someone who’s vehemently against the decision to leave the portals open. But really, I’m more so annoyed by how casual Korra and Tenzin seem to be about it. This is not a decision to take lightly, you guys.
