I got new brakes yesterday. When I picked up the car, it said "Low Battery - Please Start Engine".

The car started and ran fine, the new brakes rattled a little bit over small road imperfections but...

When I got home it was dark, and I noticed upon locking the car that the warning triangle for the hazard lights stayed lit as did the yellow lock buttons on the doors and two of the buttons on the climate panel. Almost as if the car isn't fully going to sleep.

Any ideas?

Just picked up a 2020 Disco Sport SE and I am going to install an OEM wireless charging pad (doesn’t currently have one) but I want to be able to use CarPlay which is required to be plugged in when using. is there a way to run the cable from the armrest and run it to where the phone would sit?

I could be insane but does anyone else think the L332 is timeless in aesthetic akin to 3rd gen Dodge Challenger? 20 years later and both these cars are still beautiful

Hey my dad is planing on buying second hand Disco 5 and as i am our familys resident car person he has tasked me with finding out every thing about it... so is there anything i should look out or for in them specifically in the 2017 to 2018 model years (those seam to fit his price range)

The car would be used for light to medium off roading and alot alot of high way use.

Any advice or recommendations will be appreciated

We are in need of a 4WD vehicle before the snow comes - this popped up on FB marketplace. We are not picky people nor are we car enthusiasts - this car just checks all of the boxes and is within our budget (as far as upfront cost) if we like it when we go see it, we will definitely bring it to an independent mechanic to review it. We did that with our last car that we bought from craigslist and it worked out just fine. Is this car worth it? Or do I need a reality check? We are used to driving practical cars like Hondas that usually don't have high maintenance fees and are extremely reliable. Want to use it as daily driver. figure ya'll would be the right people to ask

i replaced the compressor and relay (as i’ve done three times before) and still the same issue. the compressor starts if i take the relay out and jump the connections. tried the 5 and 20 fuses as well, no dice….any idea what the problem could be? the terrain light (above the knob selector) turns off immediately at start. thanks!!

I know I will get a lot of flack in the community but I’ve been looking for a bull bar/brush guard for my ‘15 RRS but all I can ever seem to find are small tube bull bars for Omac and I’ve been curious if anything beefier than those exist in the market. Again I know I will get flack for the fact I should keep it OEM but I do like off-roading in her and would love some more protection.

Can they adjust so they are pointed down as in the attached picture? Or are these broken?

I'd go check myself but it's 1200 miles away.

So I am currently in the market for another vehicle as mine is likely to sell this weekend. I want a capable off-roader and there are 2 engine options where I live (TDV6 2.7 or V8 4.4). Great majority of the LR3 and LR4 on the road here are the diesel engine. So, if I buy a diesel LR3 in good shape, what can I expect of this car? Is it worth it or not?

2020 Range Rover Sport PHEV with 30K miles. Factory warranty expires in January. I'm kind if terrified of owning the vehicle without a warranty. Got a quote for $7500 for 3 years, 36K miles. I live in the bay area California. What price would you expect for that warranty? Any advice on getting a lower quote?

I have my “favorites” button (the diamond button on steering wheel) configured to disconnect the annoying Auto Stop-Start feature. However, following the latest software update, that seems to no longer be an option. It used to be found under the “other” menu, but sadly it has disappeared. Why would they do this? Lame.

So I've been having a problem for a while, I'm not sure what to do but lately I've been parking the car and as soon as I lock it the air suspensions deflate with a sound as loud as a semi truck deflating. This doesn't only happen after shutting off the car, it sometimes happens on the road at certain points. Any ideas what it could be and how it could be fixed. (This problem appeared after I recently changed the air compressor and all 4 air valves approximately 3000 miles ago)

If you are looking at this add then you may love rovers like I love them. This rover has some the of the best options for this year. This has much of the same drive train as the Defender as well as the 16” wheels – great for off road and you can find tires that will fit. This also has no sunroofs as they always leak. This also does not have the extra seats in the back. The seats take up a bunch of room in the back and are rarely used. This has the factory style steel rear cage for the containment of a dog. This rover has an after market radio w/ bluetooth and an Aux USB connector. It just passed smog and is ready to go. The dash has no lights like the 3 Amigos, it is all working as it should. I replace the brake actuator last year. The engine is special, it has been replaced with a new engine from Atlantic British w/ machined cylinder liners that will never come loose. This is how I lost the use of the first engine. All the head bolts were replaced with ARP studs to increase the clamping force and reduce the chances of a blown head gasket. Oil changes have been done every 5k with 10-40w synthetic oil with Lucas oil stabilizer. The Diffs, trany, transfer case have all been serviced every 20k. A one inch lift has been installed to the front to level the rover because of the ARB bull bar. The bull bar does not have a winch installed but it is able to accept one if so desired. I also have the middle muffler delete pipe. It is not installed, my wife thought it was too loud. I like it but she won. I just completed the big tune-up w/ new battery, plug, wires, o2 sensors (Bosch). Front drive line was replace with u-joint type from Atlantic British with a double joint on top and single on the bottom. The rear drive shaft has a new rubber joint and u-joint. It has a new coolant reservoir and hoses. It has an after market heavy duty skid plate for the fuel tank. It has the factory 2” receiver and can tow up to 6k pounds as per the dealer. I have been towing a boat occasionally that weighs 3500lb with trailer with no problems.

Wanting to put 17x8s with 30 offset on my 06 LR3 v6. I was thinking they might fit since they have the smaller brakes. Is there a chance they fit or is terra firma the only thing that will work? I want 17s, cheaper tires and like the look.

In regards to my recent post. Car cut out when driving. Electrics still worked. Tried to restart the car but it was trying to tick over and wouldn’t come on and was juddering when trying. We need to take the car to a Landrover specialist but our guy seems to think the engine has failed and we need a new one.

I have a d2 03 and a few questions

I read somewhere that i need to add resistors to disable hyperflash on the turn signals, and someone said it can be done with nanocom. Is there a way to do it with nanocom and how?

Also is there someone who sells led headlights with drl/ angel lights that look oem? And taillights?

And will cruise control work if i change my brakelights to led?

I'm planning to change everything to led. Thinking it will be a cleaner look. I already did the headlights and parklights.

Sorry I don’t know who to even ask anymore. If you successfully used an infant (rear facing) car seat in a Defender (newer models) or other land rovers for that matter, what brand worked for you?

I am having a recline issue, the backseats of the car are downward sloped so much that my chosen car seat does not level correctly (Cybex Aton G). I have ordered two more models (from maxi-cosi this time) but this is gonna get old if I have to do it by trial and error with a hundred models.

I am going to look at Land Rover LR2 2014 for sale for under $5K. What should I be looking out for to find out if this thing is a lemon? is the price alone and indicator? Edit: 114,000 miles
