I am starting up a TikTok channel here locally in Baton Rouge.
I am a 33 year old white man looking to hire 2 females to be on my TikTok channel which will offer tarot card readings and also a psychic service as well a Q and A and entertainment. You do not need to be psychic as I will handle that part.
Pay will be $16 an hour, and we will work live on TikTok 4 hours a day 2x a week.
If interested send me an DM. I am looking to hire a couple people and get this paid channel up and running super soon.
If you are hired and have A friend or a roommate who wants to join you on the channel even better.
I’m interested in living in a single person apartment next year and am wondering if anyone knows of any good ones/knows ones to avoid. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
We’re attending the LSU v Bama game today, and I have a question about mobility concerns.
My husband has a back that tends to act up now and then, and of course he’s struggling since Wednesday. He went to the doctor and got a shot and steroids, but he’s still in a lot of pain. He’s not disabled from his back or anything like that, but he’s struggling to walk long distances. It’s particularly bad on one side, and he’s having problems putting weight on one of his legs so he’s going to be on crutches.
Is there an easier way to get him into and out of the stadium? I know this is the biggest game of the year, and we rarely to get attend games. This is actually his birthday present as today is his birthday, and I want to make sure he has as good of a time as possible with as little pain as possible.
I’d appreciate any and all possible tips. I would rent a scooter for him, but I don’t know of any companies in the area that do scooter rentals, especially last minute on a Saturday.
Thanks!
Edited for update: I bought a wheelchair. Found one at Walgreens. Thanks!
Hi, my roommates and I just toured Park Place, and we loved it. However, we found out that there were a lot of bad reviews about it online. Does anyone have any experience living there? Is it worth it? We're also considering The Legacy.
Does anyone have a fee waiver code for LSU?
I'm about to graduate and for past 4 years the outlets in the PFT big tables have either been loose and or don't work. As of now I haven't found any that work and all are loose. Anyone know if they're gonna ever even fix this? Is whoever in charge of equipment even aware of this problem? I notice the tables being used less and less because of this. Every chair used to be full my freshman year now you can easily find a seat, but u can't charge
Do they let you know if you got into the honors College after you got accepted or is it with the acceptance letter? Because I recently applied for the honors college during my application and a few days ago I got accepted, but I don’t have any follow up regarding the honors college acceptance
Hello! Can someone help me before tomorrow with math 1021! I have a low grade in the class and my test is tomorrow and I need to pass with at least an 70
I (20F) have recently gotten back into the gym and was wondering if there are any gym groups I could join at the UREC or anyone who wants to meet up?
Pre-nursing major here!!! So 4 of my classes got waitlisted and I need them. What do I do? Do I just wait it out or what?
My 8 YO grandson says he’s going to play baseball for LSU when he gets there. TBH he probably will, he’s showing real potential already. I want to get him baseball gear for Christmas but since it’s not baseball season I’m striking out. (Sry lol) Can anyone point me in the right direction? I’ve checked the Academy and the Purple and Gold stores. TIA
it’s official been a month since i submitted my application and i still haven’t gotten a decision yet from lsu. my friend has already received acceptance and she applied on monday. am i missing anything.idk know what i should do….🤕
I have been looking for a tool that can read my notes and give me information on all the topics from my notes that I may have missed or just have clearer explanations than the ones provided in my lectures. Does anybody have a tool for this? I am tired of inputting everything manually into chatGPT to try to explain these concepts.
I got Bio 2160 with Scott Crousillac and I’m falling apart none of my study methods are working and I’m hoping to try to get some here.
Does anyone know any loop holes to get instate as an out of state student without a gap year. I have family in Louisiana if that helps me.
Look, I know this is probably a really simple, dumb-sounding question but on the grad school application site, it says to check the requirements before you apply.
I need to start my application so I can get the links out to my LORs but I don't have everything ready to actually apply. SO, can I create an account and begin my application, save and exit, then continue later? Or does the whole application need to be completed in one sitting?
Also, I havent graduated yet so it'll be unofficial transcripts, do I just request my unofficial and upload them to the application portal or do I still request official transcripts from my current school to be sent to LSU grad? (Can they do that if I'm not done?)
Sorry guys, I'm a first gen and doing this all alone so I have no idea and none of my professors can speak on it since they're not at/from LSU. Thanks 💞
I am scheduling classes and I am deciding between a 7:30AM class with a great professor and another class that fits my schedule better with a wild card professor for Calculus 2.
I won’t show up most days to option 1 as I live too far away to regularly make it on time. It is unfortunately a T,W,TH,F course. Apparently all of the lectures are posted to our Moodle (our version of canvas/blackboard), but there are bonuses for showing up. A large majority of their rate my professor reviews are outstanding.
Option 2 features a professor with only 3 Rate My Professor reviews. All of the reviews are good, but for a different course. I have no clue how she would perform for this class. She might be even better than option 1 or 10x worse. I just don’t know, but the advantage it that this class would fit my schedule much better.
Any advice or opinions?
Applied October 5th, Ogden on the 8th… haven’t received a result, starting to get worried.
Hey, Im trying to move out of an apartment and I need someone to replace me in order to get out of my lease, does anyone need an apt? Rent is about 1000 a month
I don’t think I’ll be able to pay for LSU because my ACT score isn’t good, so I’m starting to look at LSUE as a back up. I want to attend and stay on campus then transfer to LSU if it comes to that. So can someone give me a the real about LSUE? I’m also in-state, and want to major in Accounting.
if all of my classes are Full already and my schedule request hasnt even opened yet, am i screwed or do i just request those full classes and hope enough people drop them so i cannot get in
Very simple animation needed. I go to LSU, so I’d like to work with someone who goes here. DM me if interested in working together
I’m not from Baton Rouge, and don’t eat out much. Can anyone provide any places in the Baton Rouge area(including not on campus) that does well for serving? At my old job I was making an average of 200 a night in Lake Charles, LA at a hibachi restaurant and gained a year of serving experience. Anyone know of anything similar? Any other pointers like how well do locals tip? Is it common to do tip share? Is it common to bus as well? Just lmk what’s good and what’s not
I’m in my second semester of isds major and right now I’m taking isds 1102 acct 2001 Econ 2000 and biol 1001. I’m on track to graduate in 4 years if I do 12 hrs a semester and a semester early if I do 15. Im on tops scholarship so they’ll pay for 4 full years so I don’t think it hurts me. Should I minor or double major or is that a waste of time I’m not tryna do extra work if it doesn’t help me get employed. Or should I just take it light the next 4 years with 12 credits a semester.
What happens if I only have 12 hours right now and I drop my ME 1212 Lab and end the semester with 10 hours? I do not have tops so i’m not worried about that. But will I still be able to be in greek life?
LSU is one of the colleges I'm considering going to due to how close it is compared to everything else.
I'm interested in film and screenwriting and want to know how the program is down here. I'm not expecting it to be on par with schools in California and NY but hoping for something that's actually good.
So! I am added to the statistic pool because my complex was robbed last Friday. I've been staying with my older sister for 3 days in the meantime who might I add is highly unreasonable and wants to evict me if I don't accept LSU's housing offer which I don't know how but will be $2872 until December 14. not only is that over 7 times what my original monthly rent was but I don't know how I am going to pay that. I don't know what to expect from Reddit but if there is any student with an extra space in their dorm/apartment they can share (I WILL pay!) or know of an immediate sublease I can take over until the semester ends please message me :(. I hate that this happened with 1 month left, it's so hard to find anything now and I've never been this anxious and stressed but anything helps. thank you guys
All science biologies are too early but it is a requirement to register for a physical science and a lab. So, do I skip it and go into my 3rd year in the flowchart and come back to it next year.
I am currently enrolled in the LSUS accelerated MHA program AP1 for Spring 2025. I need some real honest advice here as I do not want to take these fundamental courses in addition if I do not necessarily need them. My background is clinical and my undergraduate was through Mizzou BHS. I just got my BHS and finished this past August. My last semester I took statistics so I'm good to go with that core class but I am a bit skeptical about the others. I did not take an economics, finance or accounting in my undergraduate studies. With that being said, I did have to take a quantitative reasoning class which I feel covered a good portion of accounting and finance but I cannot say for sure as I have not taken accounting/finance. What are your recommendations? Is this something that if I really apply myself I will do well without the foundation courses? I graduated Latin honors from Mizzou. I didnt realize until today that financial aid does not cover any of the foundation courses and they are almost $500 a piece.
