I just got a new longboard and I'm still a beginner at skating, is there anyone out there that wants to be skating friends? Also are there any good places on or around campus that are good for beginners to practice at?
Does anyone know a good photographer for Senior Photos? I'm looking for one that has availability within the next few weeks before I graduate. I appreciate any recommendations, especially ones that have experience taking photos near Tiger Stadium.
Hello all, im aware that tops is given in the later half of the semester around now but I checked my tops tracker on losfa and its shows up as already disbursed but so far I haven’t received anything. Id like to add the my billing statement showed my entire tuition covered prior to the beginning of the semester so there was no expenses it could’ve gone to. Is tops not eligible to be used as credit authorization? Im a freshman so im not sure how this works but this is really confusing, its says disbursed since october and its now december so im not sire whats going on with that
My daughter is a freshman this year. We just filed her fafsa for next year. It shows her SAI is -1500, which from what I read, she should qualify for full Pell grant. My questions is this. She received pelican promise for this school year. With her not living on campus next year, should she still receive pelican promise to help with living expenses? Or is that just to help cover cost of dorm and meal plan freshman year?
Hello, I am a current LSU student who is in a marketing class and I am wondering if anybody will be willing to take this quick survey I need for the class? I promise it's not a scam or robot lol I really need some responses thank you! https://lsu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_aa67jSvyS4sq3mC

Hey, I’m 19 and am looking for a college to apply to. I spent my past year out of highschool getting my pilots ratings such as private, instrument, multi engine, and commercial license. I had a 3.1 weighed gpa and a 3.5 I weighed in highschool and a 1060 on my sat. I had a lot of extra curricular’s such as 200 community service hours, working full time job for 3 years and 6 years of martial arts where I got my purple belt in bjj. I never took an ATC and had bad attendance. Would I be considered or not because I don’t want to pay money to see if I’m gonna be rejected.
I’m a freshman taking calculus and saw that they said you need a grade in the 'C' range for it to count as credit. I currently have a 71 ('C-') and was wondering if I need a 75 for it to count.
I have a 3.2 GPA, 25 ACT.
Any recommendations for what scholarships to apply for as well? I’m out of state (Washington).
Im thinking about signing a lease at a 2b/1b at Maison Burbank. Im currently a sophomore female and was wondering if it’s safe around that complex. Are car break ins common? I’m also concerned about the management and the overall apartment. Want to get firsthand experience opinions!

Hi guys. I’m hoping to start a general business degree with a concentration in IT Management thru LSU online program (100% remote)
Could you share with me your experience/feedback?Program, workload, expectations, tips, tricks…. Anything really… I just want to know a bit more about what to expect, as an international student who’s quite new to the American school system…
Thank you in advance for your help!
For all the nursing students out there, what do u do to make ends meet financially?
Hello, I am looking for single-person apartments to move into for January. I already made a list of some I am interested in (Beau Chene, Cobblestone at Essen, Riverhouse, Les Chenes). For me, safety is the number one priority (I would like to avoid Northgate and the Tigerland area). I'm mainly looking for a place that's 1000-ish per month. Thanks!
If anybody has took summer classes what are they like? I know there’s two different sessions that are shorter and a long session, I just wanted some insight on how they go, are they fast paced, and etc. I’m a STEM major so if any other STEM majors have experience that want to share that would be highly appreciated.
Hello! So I’m a graduating senior considering transferring to LSU for graduate school for a master’s in sports management (preferably online).
Also, I want to work as a graduate assistant in athletics. Specifically, the RISE program.
Anyone have any experience or advice they can share? Pretty please with sugar on top!
Hi everyone, just curious about how bad selective admissions are for Graphic Design majors? I have to go through it my next semester, just wanna see the general consensus from people if anyone has been through that here - I have a couple of projects under my belt that aren't LSU related, and my portfolio is decent. Is it super hard to pass through it? Any tips to make my chances of getting past the portfolio review better?
What is the process to apply to vet med school? I have a family friend who wants to apply for Fall 2025 but I'm an engineering student and I have no idea about the process for that. I also don't think they have any interns or shadowing experience in any vets to receive a letter of rec from a veterinarian. Is there alternatives or does that not matter? Please help. Thanks
So I'm scheduling a little late because I had some issues, but now I'm looking into getting into a lab to work on fulfilling that requirement. So I'm in BIOL1001 right now, which does not have a lab. But when I look at my degree audit to figure out what I need to take, BIOL1001 is listed there in the lab options? Which is confusing. I already have BIOL1002 scheduled for next semester. Which I know doesn't have a lab component either. So am I wasting my time by not taking science courses with labs? How do I know which labs I can take? My degree audit doesn't seem to be helping much. Is the lab scheduled separate from the class? May seem like a silly issue, but please someone help a confused freshman out! Anything is appreciated, sorry this is disorganized but I really am just lost here :(

I am looking into the Oliver as an option for housing next year, but I’ve heard both good and bad things. All of the recent reviews are very positive, but I’ve heard about some bad things too. Could I get yalls opinion?

Hi everyone,
I’m currently considering applying for the Pre-Nursing program at LSU, and I’m wondering how ACT scores are viewed in the admissions process for this program.
• For those who have applied or are planning to apply, how important do you think the ACT score is for getting into Pre-Nursing?
• Did any of you decide not to submit your ACT scores? If so, how did that affect your application?
I would love to hear about your experiences and any advice you might have. Thanks in advance!
Looking forward to your responses!
I’m currently in the process of applying to lsu, when should I have my application submitted by in order to get into the honors college?
These mastery path questions drive me insane sometimes. Even if I have the right answer it won't accept because I haven't put it in right, but it won't tell me what's wrong. I need help
Okay so two of my three LOR writers straight up said they were going to do it last minute (everyone is busy). Well the application is due on December 1st and I wanted to submit it this Friday (29th) but those two haven't submitted them yet. I've politely reminded them but I just realized it's Thanksgiving week(end) and they're probably busy/not checking their faculty email for the rest of the week.
I'm panicking
