New Fan?

I tried to watch baseball years ago, and I just could not get into it. The innings would take forever, and I just didn't see the complexity of the sport.

Recently, however, a friend invited me over to a minor league game and I started to understand it a bit better. A few months later, I am now watching the World Series and I have been finding it enjoyable.

As a person who is already an LSU football fan, is it worth getting into LSU baseball? Should I just stick to the pro leagues? I have not picked a pro team to root for, but I'm already an LSU guy since I'm from SE Louisiana.

I want my brother to play baseball at LSU

My brother is a sophomore in high school and will be on the Varsity team. We’re in Texas. He’s an incredible baseball player (3B, SS, RHP, and RHB) who is consistently receiving praises, advice, and recognition from umpires, opponent’s team coaches, other team players, and his current and former coaches as well.

My family has never gone through this before, so we are completely lost. Is there anything we can do to help him get into a D1 baseball school or any division baseball is ok as well. Any advice, recommendations, and/or resources would be greatly appreciated. I’m just a sister looking for help on to help an amazing young man.

Hunter Feduccia gets called up to the Los Angeles Dodgers.

https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2024/07/dodgers-recall-hunter-feduccia-for-mlb-debut.html details how Hunter got called up to the Los Angeles Dodgers today, as Freddie Freeman is on the family emergency list. My thoughts are with Freddie Freeman and his family, as his son undergoes tests.

Hunter Feduccia, after getting drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 12th Round out of LSU in 2018, made it up to AAA in 2022. He will be the 91st player out of LSU to make it to the majors, after Paul Skenes became the 90th player out of LSU to be called up two months ago. Congratulations Hunter, and Geaux Tigers!

Congrats to Paul Skenes for getting the start for the 2024 MLB All Star Game

Every week, Skenes continues to build on his legacy, considering he got called up 2 months ago. He will start the All Star Game for the National League. He will be the 1st former LSU player to start as a pitcher for MLB All Star Game, and the first Pirates pitcher to start an All Star Game in 49 years (Jerry Reuss was the last Pirates pitcher to start an All Star Game in 1975).

He will also be the fifth rookie pitcher to start the All-Star Game, and the first in 29 years. He joins Hideo Nomo (1995 Los Angeles Dodgers), Fernando Valenzuela (1981 Los Angeles Dodgers), Mark Fidrych (1976 Detroit Tigers) and Dave Stenhouse (1962 Washington Senators): https://www.tigerrag.com/unbelievable-awesome-lsu-great-paul-skenes-reaction-to-being-named-mlb-all-star-game-staring-pitcher/
