  • Don't post LSAC copyrighted content. e.g. LSAT questions
  • Don't say the correct or incorrect answers to specific questions in a post title. It's a spoiler.

If you want to ask about a specific question, do not paste the question. That's a copyright violation.

You can definitely ask about specific questions: just cite the test number. e.g.

Test 63, section 1, question 14 --> "The one about ESP"

It's a good idea to describe the question, and which part of it you found confusing. Just don't post it verbatim. Thanks!

What can I talk about after I take an official LSAT administration on test day?

Not much. You signed an agreement not to disclose anything from the test. See this post for full rules; these are based on discussions with LSAC.

Note: I'm referring to unreleased tests that have not been disclosed by LSAC. Mind you, in the digital LSAT era, no test is disclosed, so this applies to every test. The summary:

  • Experimental topics, specific questions, answers, requests to message about answers: not allowed at any point
  • Topics of scored sections: allowed once an LSAT administration is finished

Fresh old PTs (101-110) vs not fresh recent PTs

I took the lsat in October and while I was studying for that, I’ve used up most of the recent ones (70-80s)

So for the Jan test I’ve been doing some old PTs and seeing improvement in my score. (165 to 170) I don’t know how representative this will be of the Jan test

So my question is: should I keep doing fresh old PTs (105~115) or should I start doing recent ones even if I have a chance of remembering the answers?

Can we indicate > or < 50% from the phrase “more likely” and “less likely” ?

Can we tell if it is > or < 50%?

My guess is no. Because they are relative phrases. But I just want to confirm.

Is it worth taking the time to read the stimulus carefully and read through the different answer choices for the main conclusion questions?

When the Fatigue Hits

I just spent 45 seconds reading a question about stocks and thinking it was talking about soup stocks instead of company stocks. I was literally like wtf does soup have to do with taking advice from brokers.

Got it right though!

Tips for RC - Author Opinion Questions?

What are some tips to help deal with these questions? Should I be testing out each answer choice by going back to the passage? Should I pick the answer based on memory? Should I have been highlighting author views throughout the passage? What is the best approach?

Starting LSAT Journey – 140 Diagnostic, Feeling Lost, Need Advice!

Hi everyone! I just started my LSAT prep and took a diagnostic test a couple of months ago, scoring a 140. I know it’s a starting point, but I’m feeling overwhelmed. I’ve been using the LSAT prep Bibles, but they are pretty hard to understand, especially since I’m new to the test format.

I’m planning to write the LSAT in April/May 2025, so I have some time, but I don’t know what my first step should be or how to approach my study plan since there are so many different websites (7 sage, LSAT demon etc). I’d really appreciate any advice—whether it’s resources, study schedules, tutoring, or general tips that worked for you when you were starting out.

Thanks so much in advance!

Books

Hey! I’m starting my last studying soon just trying to find a good place to start. I’ve registered with LSAC and lawhub and am going to take a diagnostic test soon. I know there are other resources out there just not sure what’s the best. The following are the ones I’ve heard good thing about what do you think is worth it?

  • The power of logic
  • A brief history of everything
  • The Fox LSAT Logical Reasoning Encyclopedia: Disrespecting the LSAT
  • Power score
  • LSAT trainer

I want to take my LSAT in June 2026 and will be a full time student from Jan-April. Is this doable? Any other resources I should check out?

Thanks in advance!!

Test Registration Advice?? Help!!

I have been studying since June (with some time off for a breakup 🙃) and need some advice about which test I should take. I have been planning to take the February test since I started studying at the begging of summer, but now I’m having second thoughts.

My diagnostic test was a 152, PT #2 was 155, PT #3 was 147, and my most recent PT was a 158 so I feel confident about my trajectory towards 162+. I have an LSAC fee waiver, so I get two free LSATs, and was looking at the dates for tests and now I feel even more stressed out than I was before.

Should I schedule for February and then take my second test in April or June? Or take my first test in April and my second in June? I’m planning on doing applications this summer, so I need to do one of these three dates.

I’m feeling relatively underprepared to take the February test and am worried it would be throwing away a free test. BUT—I also feel like taking the test in February would show me what I need to focus on for the next test day, and will allow me more time to prepare if I decide to take the June test. I need to make a decision by this weekend, as the deadline for registration is the 24th. I shouldn’t have put this off but the LSAT has been my sleep paralysis demon for six months and I’ve been so scared.

Help! What do y’all think I should do?!?!?

I thought this was an easy one. How can I catch myself from making these wrong choices :/? E seemed so right to me because I naturally thought of that being a flaw to being with before even reading the responses.

Lsat Diagnostic

I’m so confused I took an LSAT diagnostic in September I think it was test 141 but I can be wrong, and I’m on LAWHUB rn where I took it and it all it shows me is that I’ve taken one test and my score, I cannot find my exam or which exam or what got wrong. Does it go away after a couple of months?

for those who improved their score drastically, what kind of studying was most effective? what was your study plan? any tips on raising score? i am wondering if it is possible to raise a PR from 155 to 170+ in 8 ~ 10 months

currently, i am a sophomore in college, looking to take the exam in junior year fall semester. if i don't reach my desired score in fall semester, i will plan to retake it in the spring semester. this gives me anywhere from 8~10 months to study for the LSAT (pretty much daily), and i was wondering what kind of study plan yields the best results. i want a high lsat score simply because i want a good shot at getting a lot of financial aid and maybe even a full ride, since my family and i cannot afford to send me to law school without significant aid. additionally, if you used a platform like 7sage, blueprint, lawhub advantage, which one is the best for scoring into the 170s? i am also not looking into getting a tutor since i cannot afford one. but other than that, expenses aren't a big deal since i have been saving for lsat prep materials for a year and a half and am qualified for a tier 1 fee waiver.

how to study when scoring in high 160s?

hi! I started studying for the LSAT roughly a month ago for the June 2025 administration. I took a cold diagnostic and scored a 162. after a week or two of 7sage, i scored 169. I've bought the loophole and worked my way through a little bit of it, and i've been also watching some 7sage videos.

however, sometimes i find both loophole and 7sage to be boring and redundant. i feel i'm already pretty good at identifying premise/conclusions and the other foundational stuff that I've encountered so far in my studying.

my question is this: should I continue with 7sage and loophole? did y'all find it helpful to relearn foundational ideas? are there other study materials I should be using? what form of studying will best help me score 17high (my goal)? thank you!!!

Studying for the LSAT

Hello everyone! I just started studying for the LSAT and I wanted your opinion. I’m both on 7sage and LawHub. My approach is to focus on the lessons before I even touch a practice test. Is this the best way to go about it or should I try a test to see where I stand?

October hold people

and those who haven't got their scores back.

How are you coping with this? Having to wait forever while people are getting acceptances..

How many times and in what ways have you contacted Test Security? Did it work at all?

Personally I have no choice but to apply this cycle, so I'm getting really nervous by now.

Jan Lsat.

I have only been drilling and doing practice LR sections. No full length timed PTs. not much RC either. Read most of loophole but idk if it really helps. Kind of feel like i am not getting better. A month until the Jan one. What do I do? cant postpone its the last one they consider for admin cycle and my other score is too low. What works for you? I odnt want to buy any programs. Any study schedule layout I should use?

Anyone else in the low 150’s looking to get to the higher 150’s possibly 160’s for January LSAT interested in making a study group?

Not sure whether to pay a tutor $150-$400 an hour for LSAT help. Wanted to see if anyone’s in the same boat and interested in a study group. Maybe we could all benefit!!

My name is Andrew and I am an LSAT tutor looking to pick up a couple of new clients. I scored a 180 on the LSAT, currently work part-time with a name brand tutoring service, and am looking to gain a few more clients through my private practice. My rate is about $60/hr depending on what you are looking for, and I would love to book a consultation call to discuss what tutoring has to offer! It’s ok, I’ll take the LSAT 1000 miles away

After an hour and a half it turns out I am going to have to take my test 1000 miles away in Michigan so that I get my paper and pencil accommodations. I’m sure there are closer places but I have a summer house there so at lease I’m not going to the middle of no where. They told me to check back every day because more appointments will open up, but I guess turning my LSAT into a vacation could be fun.

7sage?

what is the best course for achieving a high lsat score? I got one month left till my test and need to grind it out. I heard some people say 7sage is good and some say the opposite. Please drop some suggestions. I can only afford to subscribe to one so it’s either 7sage or another lsat prep course. I have read the Loophole book which was extremely helpful for understanding the overall question types. But now with only 1 month left I need something that will give me that boost to really understand the Lsat
