Have you ever wanted to have a painting of your partner, a family portrait, your dog or whatever your favorite photo is? I always loved the idea of painting but unfortunately I'm not the best at it. A few months ago though a friend and I came up with a cool idea, what if you could turn any photo you want into a paint by numbers. That way anyone can paint, anything they want.
We looked up custom paint by numbers and found a few Etsy stores selling them but they were way overpriced and most of them didn't even come with the canvas on a frame. So we looked around and talked to a bunch of suppliers, eventually we managed to produce custom paint by number kits cheaper then anywhere else and already framed (you can still order them without a frame but we found most people want them ready to go out of the box).
Long story short though we're trying to grow and get more people talking about us. So we decided it would be a good idea to reach out to some local subreddits and hopefully you'll enjoy them enough to share your experience :)
You can use the code "COSTPRICEREDDIT" to get our kits for cost price (our margins are pretty slim right now we want to be as affordable as possible). You can get up to 4 kits at that price so feel free to buy a few and plan a date night, family activity or just get your Christmas shopping done early.

A relative recently died leaving her car (1999 Volvo) behind. If we get a salvage title, we won't need to do probate.
Anyone know of a junkyard that can help?
Hey all! I may have a job opportunity in your beautiful state -- specifically, in Lewiston. I'm wondering if Lewiston is a fit for a mid-20s, single woman. I am a progressive, friendly and French-speaking person, and it's important to me to be near young people (preferably an LGBTQ+ friendly community), good nature, and art. Nightlife is important to me too, but as long as there are a few good options, I'm happy (and I know portland isn't too far of a drive). How does Lewiston size up on these points? Anything else I should know about it? Is the city generally accepting toward people from other parts of the country? Thanks for any and all advice!
Hey guys ! Does anyone on here know Nate Poulin or of him ? Thanks !
So it seems that new apartment complex is burning down. That's not good.
The new fire station is being built off Mollison Way in Lewiston. Behind 2 businesses divided by an alley( slight exaggeration) and directly behind the neighborhood houses of Fair St. Can't anyone tell me thought behind building in this location? Seems like very little thought was given to the abutting properties, the fire trucks entering the main rd. I don't get it. FYI, I am not the guy always busting Lewistons balls. I mostly support the City's efforts.
Currently living in downtown Auburn right by the river. I live in a two bedroom apartment and my partner moved out about 6 months ago. It's a very large and spacious place with a fairly small bathroom but access to a lot of different things downtown. The current monthly rent is 1400 and I'm willing to split it down the middle with discussion for utilities. If anyone in this community knows someone or needs a place to live for 700 a month in downtown Auburn please let me know.
Post won't let me add more pictures, please message me with serious inquiries only. Thank you
We are cleaning out the house of a relative who recently passed and we need someone who can come in and do a deep cleaning of an empty house. Any recommendations.
I am going to Lewiston Friday to start clearing out my friend's house who just passed. There are 5000 books (at least) and we really don't want to buy boxes to transport books and other items.
Is there a place to get free boxes? A recycling center? Liquor stores?
A friend is in hospice. We are being tasked with cleaning her house when she passes.
She doesn't have a lot of things, so hiring an estate company would be no good. Most of her things are books and clothes. She does have some furniture, LOTS of bookcases, 2 giant desks, and a bedroom suite, but that's about it.
She has an old Volvo, I have no idea what year, but probably 90s. We have to get the title squared away, but what can I do with that. Last time I was there, it ran.
Books: 5k - 7k books. This is the biggest under taking of all. Someone was supposed to get them to an HBCU, but I think that is going to fall through. I have been in touch with Quiet City Books who said they can come cherry pick if our other options fall through. Any resellers? Books are old, new and everything in between. She was a professor so books on Africana, LGBTQ, Gender Studies, non fiction, fiction by Black authors. I was going to scan and send to Amazon, but I am going to be all over the place and it's just too much I think.
Clothes: LL Bean, Vintage and brand new. She was buying LOTS of clothes even after her diagnosis. I haven't really looked in her closets, but I know they are packed. Again, any resellers? And if not, where could I donate? I don't want to take Goodwill or Salvation Army. I would prefer a women's shelter or a thrift store that isn't also a corporation.
Thanks in advance

I love Geocaching, but idk where any good ones are.
There’s a bunch of caution tape up after one of the storms from months ago. Why hasn’t it been repaired? Do I need to show up with my toolkit and do it myself soy kids can play?
I have an elderly friend in Lewiston who has pancreatic cancer and was just given 2 to 4 months to live. My wife is her power of attorney and is executor of her will. My wife has asked me to investigate cremation services in the area. The memorial service will be held at Bates, where she teaches. Does anyone have a recommendation?
Thank you!
Does anyone know what they’re building here?
What’s more patriotic than going to see 2 overly confident idiots tell dick jokes on 4th of July weekend?
Nothing.
Get your tix before they’re sold out!

Anyone in Auburn hear the loud bangs followed by sirens around 12:30-1:30? It sounded like it was close to the highschool.
My wife is going to be flying to Portland and needs to get to Lewiston. Her arriving flight is midday, but the flight when she leaves (10 days later), she would need to be at the airport at 4:30am. She would prefer not to stay at a hotel by the airport.
Is there a car service that runs to airport? I've been to Lewiston and it seems like there wouldn't really be any Ubers floating around at 330am.
Any advice appreciated.
Anyone know if there are any public places to play table tennis in L-A? Always surprised more bars don't have tables. Google wasn't any help outside of Bates/local high school teams.
