If I drive across a crossing to NB or Quebec for something like a wedding, will the border guys, going either of which direction or both directions, be sticklers about my automobile? I may or may not semi regularly have cracked mirror glass, expired Maine inspection stickers, headlights out, smashed bumpers with sharp cut edges, etc.

I have a newer car which is fine other than a smashed mirror and no sticker but will they hassle me about that?

I never run with expired registration or no insurance but are they stickers for all this stuff? How about the Canadian local/provincial police in general?

I never have problems in New England but for all I know Canadians are very serious about their motor vehicle laws. I haven't been to Canada in a decade and have never driven there

Hi everybody, I wrote a message in this subreddit about the hidden gem that is Maine a few months ago, and that has led to me committing to a year round position in the Northwestern Mountains! With that said, I do have an inquiry about hair stylists who excel in braiding African American hairstyles. I know this a long shot, given what state I am in. But I don’t mind traveling to whatever city to visit a hairstylist. I just want something a little more cost friendly than flying back home to my hairstylist every time I’m due for a new style. TIA

I can just imagine the comments I'm going to get, but here goes.

I'm from Maine. Born and raised. Graduated from UMaine. I left for several years and have been back for several years. I have a two-unit rental property in York county. I think I'm a good landlord. My tenants have told me I'm a good landlord... even the bad ones. But the bad ones are why I need a property manager.

I'm looking for recommendations on someone who can do the job that's taking too much out of me. There are good landlords and bad landlords, just like there are good tenants and bad tenants. I've been doing this for over 15 years, and most tenants are good. But the smaller minority that are not good make it unbearable.

If you know of someone or a company that can manage my property, please recommend them below. Thank you in advance.

Hiya. Exploring leaving Verizon as my carrier. However it has proved pretty reliable as far as coverage goes for my work. I travel for work from phippsburg down and often end up in more rural settings.

So who is your carrier and how do you feel about the coverage?
