Which local stations have a streaming app that will cover legislative races on election night?

On election night, I plan to be somewhere without access to traditional broadcast TV i.e. cable/satellite. But I will have a Smart TV with internet access.

Does anyone know of a Maine station that has an app which will have real-time coverage of the state races? I'm hoping to set the TV up so that people can see updates on the races for Augusta i.e. state house and senate.

Golden is in my District

I'm leaning toward voting for him despite some of his stands. I do like the way he went on Maine Calling radio program to air his views. Theriault did not, and I don't like a candidate who plays it safe. Both have said they'd cooperate with Trump, so not much difference there. I don't like how Golden changed his mind on assault rifle bans. Theriault is against assault rifle bans.

Golden will probably win anyway, so my vote doesn't count.

Register to vote, and vote in the 2024 elections!

On November 5th, Maine will vote not just for President, but for Congress, and for state and local offices. Register and vote so you'll have a say in what kind of country America will be!

In Maine, you must register by October 15th to register in advance. You can register to vote here: https://registertovote.sos.maine.gov/

If you miss this deadline, you can register to vote in person at your town office or city hall through November 5th.

##Voting in person

In Maine, you can vote early through absentee-in person voting. This allows you to go to your Municipal clerk's office, apply for an absentee ballot, and vote that ballot on the spot. You can do this when absentee ballots are available at your clerk's office - contact them for details.

If you prefer, you can vote at your polling place on Election Day, November 5th.

##Voting by mail

Any voter in Maine may choose to vote by mail. Apply for an absentee ballot here.

Ballots must be received by November 5th, so mail your ballot back promptly. You can also return your ballot in person to your Municipal Clerk's office.

If you mail your ballot, you can track it here.

Please let me know if you have any questions!

2nd District observation

I live in the Lincoln are and here’s my totally anecdotal observation. I’ve seen clusters of signs for Republican candidates in a number of yards that don’t include a sign for Trump (yay). And I’m seeing nearly as many Harris/Walz signs as Trump/Vance signs (yay again).

Is there any reason to mark David Costello as first choice over Angus King?

I'm a pretty liberal guy and probably am slightly more instep with Costello, but I don't really have any issues with King and think he's done a good job. I love RCV, but I don't want to screw up and prevent King from not clearing the first round

What Do We Know About Austin Theriault?

I got a flyer from him today. It says that he's a 5th generation Aroostook county Mainer. It says he'll protect Social Security and Medicare for seniors. That's good because I'm a senior.

He will put people over politics with new leadership. Well, they all say that.

He will stand up for working families by lowering costs. Sounds like Harris or Trump.

He will lower Electricity and Home Heating oil costs and stop inflation. Sounds good!

He will close the border to control the crisis and keep families safe. Well, both Harris and Trump have said that. At least this year.

I know he's a racing car driver. I'm not sure if that's a plus. Is there anything else we should know about him?

How does he stand on Abortion? On the 2A?
