We love bead crafts, has anyone tried this and would it be appropriate for 5-6 year olds?

We just discovered beads and love little projects. Our kids are 5 and 6 (turning seven) and I’m wondering if the little one could manage something like this?

Any other great suggestions?

Make Book into New Book

Greetings!

My 3 year has a "book" that she loves. I say "book" because she it's from National Geographic and it's somewhere between a book and a magazine. Anyway, it's falling apart and I think the best way to salvage it would be to just cut the pages apart and transfer them into something new.

Not thinking leatherbound collectible, just something to keep it together until she inevitably forgets about it the day after I give it back to her.

Any thoughts on how I or we could do this would be appreciated!

What are your favorite markers?

Right now sharpies get the most use but I need to buy new markers. I've been debating alcohol markers but I've never used them, any reviews on how kids feel about those ones? Are there better options that come in big packs with lots of color options?

Genius Kid

I need advice. People think I'm boasting a lot when it comes to my son. But in all honesty truly I am scared. He just turned 3 1/2 and has been counting to 100 since he was 16-18 months old. Now he adds, subtracts, multiplies, & counts by numbers. He could also count into the thousands and beyond with ease if he wanted too. He knows all his shapes, colors, letters, and is starting to read. Also obsessed with dinosaurs and knows the majority of their names. Why am I scared? He's obsessed with learning. He literally feens to learn more and more each day. I'm running out of ideas at home to keep him occupied. He gets bored so easily. I want to ensure that he won't get bored when he does start school. I want him to continue thriving. I’ve used busy books with him since he turned one. Well they're so simplistic to him now. I need some advice. I can't even sleep! Please if anyone has any ideas I would so anoreciate it!

We developed a Website to generate Personalized Coloring Pages

Hello dear parents!

I hope my post won't be deleted immediately 🙏 First of all, we don't earn any money with our website.

We, Lena and Benjamin, would like to introduce you to our self-developed website for creating free personalized coloring pages for children: https://www.bubbely.com

The idea came from a personal experience: My aunt always prints out coloring pictures from the Internet for my cousin. However, the pictures from Google & Co. are limited in their selection and never really match the children's ideas and wishes. Are dinosaurs and castles super interesting? Why not combine the two? 😉 - A solution for personalized coloring pictures would be great!

As we both work in software development, we thought, let's just build it ourselves 😬 This resulted in Bubbely, a website for generating and downloading personalized and individual coloring pictures for children. Simply enter the desired motif (e.g., dragon in knight's armor or otter with sunglasses) and save/print the result.

Since we've just launched Bubbely, your feedback is incredibly important to us. Whether it's suggestions for improvement, ideas for new features, or simply your experiences using the website, we'd love to hear from you.

We hope that by using our website, you can create something truly unique and encourage your children's imaginative play ☺️

Thank you very much, and best regards
Lena & Benjamin
