Welcome to the Korean Baseball Organization community on Reddit!
Here is where you can find news, videos, and discussion not only on Korean baseball teams, but also Korean baseball players that have taken up positions on teams outside of Korea as well.
All about Professional Baseball in Korea, and Korean baseball players worldwide. ANYONE can post news, commentary, videos, and questions about baseball in Korea. If a Korean baseball player outside of Korea interests you, post away.
*It's ok to post a Korean link, but please try to describe a summary in the comments, for those that can't read Korean.

Hey all! My grandfather recently passed and at his funeral we heard a story we never had about how my grandfather and grandmother met. While he was in the US military, stationed in Korea, my Japanese grandfather was apparently caught heckling a Korean team (owned by his future spouse-my grandmother-‘s uncle). This would’ve been in the 60s-70s in my estimation. This was a Korea v Japan game. My grandmothers name is min Chong cha. I’m hoping to gift a baseball card from the team to my father or grandmother but can’t seem to find much documentation on the East Asian sports scene in that era. Hoping Reddit can help!!!
I found this baseball on a Korean surplus and i thought maybe anyone here would know who the player is, the one that signed this baseball?
Hi! Do you like…Baseball? Games? The highs and lows of being part of a team competing for a championship? What about memes and shitposting?
If you said yes to any of the above then there’s a good chance you’ll enjoy Major League Redditball! We’re a community of more than 500 people built around a simple concept and we’re headed into our 11th season…
The aim of the game is for the hitter to guess a number that’s as close as possible to the number the pitcher they’re facing has submitted. Bang on? That’s a home run! Close? Maybe an extra base hit! Fail miserably, you’re out! Each player can choose a type or build, so the outcomes are different each time.
Since its inception 8 years ago Major League Redditball has been building a community of people from all over the globe and from all walks of life and we’re looking for people just like you to join in the fun. The time commitment is totally up to you - the most basic gameplay aspect takes just a couple of minutes a week - but if you’re also looking to make new friends, work on your coding skills or fancy trying your hand at some graphic design that’s awesome, too.
We’re mostly a discord based group but our games are played on our subreddit . Head over there and check out the sticky post for a more detailed explainer and a link to our Fake College Baseball discord server.
TLDR: If you’re looking for a fun way to spend anywhere from a couple of minutes to a few hours every week, check out ! And if you’ve played with us before, why not come back and see what’s changed since last time you took the field?
I'm planning on visiting Daegu in late June of next year with my family, and we'd like to attend a Lions game. Does anyone know when the schedule for June will be released? Thanks in advance for any help.
I have talked about this event before. It’s a charity event at the end of the season.
KBO players play out of position and the teams are all divided. So if you are a pitcher, you can play any position except pitcher. Players from the same team will be on opposite teams.
Players wear costumes and enjoy themselves like the all star game, but with 100% less pressure.
If you are in Korea, it is a must see baseball experience.

Not sure if this is the correct sub to ask, please point me to a right one if it isn’t!
I’ll be in Seoul from 8-17 Nov. Since it’s off season for baseball, I’m wondering if there’s any store selling baseball merch elsewhere?
Bonus if it’s Monsters (a clean sweep) merch, but any other KBO league teams are great too! TIA.
I am a Korean (40f) living in Seoul (although half my life was spent abroad). Wondering if there are people interested in going to games together next year. I am a Lions fan myself but I just love going to games and wanted to spend some weekends visiting all the stadiums. Could also help visitors coming to Korea get tickets if I am going same day. I know it's still super early since season justtttttt ended but still wanted to check.
Any experts know where I should be hunting for maybe an embroidered jersey or similar?
Have recently discovered that my Korean wife’s favourite Dback (my team) used to not only play in Korea, but also WENT TO HER HIGH SCHOOL?
So I’m trying to find a jersey with the Korean name/number on the back ahead of the holiday season (size L/XL please but beggars/choosers)
⚾️✨
It’s not perfect and I made some stretches, but did what I could.
Feel free to add suggestions or make corrections.
Also, no hate intended towards any teams, just something light hearted I put together for my friend hoping to get into KBO.
I’ve been looking everywhere for 2 tickets to the Korean Series (doesn’t matter which game). Does anyone know where to buy them?
P.S. Ticketbay no longer works.
Hi, I'm in the early stages of planning a trip to Korea and Japan next March/April and I'm looking for some baseball related advice. I'm going to play completely dumb here.
I am looking to come for about a week with an eye on the 29th/30th March weekend for sure.
Which stadiums are worth visiting? How is the process getting tickets? I live in Taiwan and aside from the post season games rarely sell out, I'm actually a die hard Uni Lions fan and will likely be missing my first weekend home game for 7 years to do this trip.
I'm excited to do some baseball and hopefully as much as possible! I haven't been to a game outside Taiwan and I'm looking to do a game a night - like Taiwan I know Monday is the off day.
Cheers!
