Works for seat stays only.
Had someone stop by with a personal bike because their brakes weren't working (will grab a photo and post it tomorrow if I remember, it's also not great) and noticed something odd with their rear tire. No idea how long they've been riding on it but I swear to God inside was the THICKEST TUBE KNOWN TO MAN
Spotted in HK last night (no hate!)
Grabbed a beaten up Toughroad SLR GX for 400€. Cleaned the derailleur, put on big cassette and 47mm Smart Sam tires (tubeless) and enjoy the mud. In the front much wider tires would fit. In the back I have 7mm room to each side of the chainstay. Is really fun!
I've never seen a stem installed backwards like this, would it realistically cause any problems other than changing the geometry of the bike?
The title. Picked up a bike with that wheelset, but it's not written anywhere that it's tubeless. So I assume it's technically not meant to be run tubeless. Is it worth giving a try nonetheless?
