JKS 242 Klaniame sa tebe, Boze (We bow to you, God)
The "JKS" is the 1936 Slovak hymn book "Jednotny Katholicky Spevnik" ( "Uniform Catholic songbook" ) by Spolok Vojtecha in Slovakia, who composed a large number of the hymns in the book which is why most of the hymns in this book which contains about 600- are unknown in the United States.
I am not into religion and I am not and do not speak Slovak beyond a few words I picked up out of the JKS book.
The JKS book is out of copyright and full page scans are on the web, I've included the score for this hymn below.
The composer Schneider-Trnavsky was a talented composer whose works appear in a large number in this book.
I did a video of 242 some 3 years ago, I didnt have the recording setup I do now and the composition was new to me, so it's hardly broadcast quality but it's the only video I recorded of it, so it is what it is, mistakes and all during that practice session!

GL 944 Fahr hin, o Seel, zu deinem (Go, O soul, to your)
This is an arrangement of #944 from the German Gotteslob hymn book which I purchased recently. The 2014 arrangement from a German web site was free to use for non-commercial use per the credits in the video. This arrangement is in a different key than the Gotteslob version, and a little different.

JKS 129 Ach, kriz, svaty (Ah, the holy cross)

I first found the JKS book even existed at all when I landed on a Slovak organist's youtube channel and asked what "JKS" was, and that had me searching for where to buy the organist edition, after a lot of searching and navigating Slovak book store web sites, I was able to order a JKS book from a book store in Slovakia and have it shipped to me in the States because I could not find one in the USA. The book new cost over $100 but it was beautiful, large, hardcover and excellent quality in every way.
The JKS book is public domain and web sites have every page scanned for free download but I wanted the book, I attached the score for 129.
The first verse of #129 is;
Slovak;
Ach, kríž svätý, ty strom vzácny, - sladký nesieš plod prekrásny, - Jezu Krista milého, milého - pre mňa umučeného.
English from Google translation;
Oh, holy cross, you precious tree, - you bear sweet, beautiful fruit, - Jesus Christ, dear, dear - martyred for me.

The Night Before Blessed Assurance and All Through The House ....
With over forty years of worship ministry I've stumbled upon some very odd, and yes. FUNNY lyrical similarities.
Take Blessed Assurance, Its meter is very similar to the poem 'Twas the Night Before Christmas.
Another one is the old praise song ". -"
