I don’t know if this post is allowed but I wanted the HB Community to know how much I appreciate Sara.

Sara works the night shift at Jack in the Box located on Pacific Coast Highway and Warner. She is a white lady with blonde / brown hair and she has tattoos on her arms.

She is friendly, polite, attentive, hard working, and in my opinion very attractive.

If you need a late night snack, I highly recommend visiting Sara. Whenever I order from Sara, I noticed the food tastes better and the calories are lower than the regular Jack in the Box fare.

Sara inspires me to fight harder for my clients and to appreciate life. One day after I hit the lotto jackpot, I will work up the courage to tell Sara how smitten I am with her and will ask her if she would consider accompanying me to a Broadway show. I would also like to buy her a Jack in the Box franchise. (if she’s interested in owning one)

But for now, I will admire Sara from afar and keep my feelings to myself.

Advertisement for Memorial care on a fire truck in HB, and painted baby-blue, not red?? Do cities advertise on emergency vehicles? Obviously see them on buses, but can’t recall ever seeing advertising on emergency vehicles.

As the title implies, i'm currently seeking ways to advertise and sell my motorcycle to someone local to HB or its surrounding areas. I've tried FB marketplace but I keep getting offers from people as far AZ as opposed to anyone local in SoCal. So I was hoping maybe y'all knew of some other method I could try to move my bike. Looking for a vet to go to that specializes in cats. I’m pretty sure my son has fleas or has had them recently and I want to get him treated. I’ve heard that a lot of vet offices don’t always know how to treat cats bc most experience they have is with dogs, and I would like yo go somewhere I know this won’t be an issue. Would love some recommendations for places in HB, but I’m open to places outside HB (still in OC) as well. Preferably someplace that is budget friendly, but willing to pay extra for good work!

Like the title says, ridiculous long shot. I was with my family at the beach (north side of the pier) in mid-July, and I had a weird connection with a curly-haired guy wearing dark swim trunks. I could have sworn this guy walked by multiple times, maybe jogging or something. I noticed him because he looked like a good friend from high school. In the afternoon, my parents carried their bags over to sit on the sand wall, under the pier in the shade. The mystery guy was also sitting there, facing away from the waves. I stood up on the wall, and on second inspection, thought he could be my friend's cousin or brother. But I lost him in the people when I went to meet my siblings on the main street stairs.

I have a mullet, and was also wearing dark swim trunks. Probably carrying a volleyball. Just curious overall because the interaction was so odd.

Hello all,

On Friday morning, August 30, at about 7:45 a.m. a woman dressed in all black, it looked like she was wearing black pants, a black t-shirt, and a black blazer, maybe 40ish, knocked on my door. She had a clipboard and a badge. I was not home then but could see from my doorbell camera. While the woman approached my door on her own, she was with an older man (maybe 50 or 60) who was waiting in the driveway. After knocking on the door a few times I can hear her say something to the effect of "they're not home" and walk away. I wouldn't think much of it, however as the man and woman began walking to their car parked a couple of houses down and across the street, my camera showed that the woman turned around and took a picture of my car in the driveway and I'm assuming the license plate. I can't tell what kind of badge she had, it was dangling from her belt loop. The man looked like he had an earpiece in (it could've been a hearing aid). Any ideas on who this may be and why they are knocking at my door at this time? Why the woman would come up alone while the man was waiting in the driveway? Or why they would take a picture of my car/license plate in the driveway?

They didn't leave any information and as far as I can tell did not go to any of the neighbor's doors.

This ordinance has just passed the HBCC mtg tonight. If an HB city worker thinks that your kid may be LGBTQ+, they will now be snitching to the parents. Our city government is now getting involved in a PRIVATE family matter. They have NO SHAME!

I love to salt water fish and I don't get to do it often, living in the middle of the US, so when I do it, I like to do it right. That being said I am very new to salt water fishing so some of these questions may seem silly. I've been researching it a lot but I wanted to hear first hand.

I have always wanted to catch a barracuda, and I have read they are in season during that time but I do not have the money put away for a charter so I will just be sticking to the beaches, piers, and flats. Is it possible to land one anywhere in that area without being on a boat? If so where, what should I use, etc.

Lastly, what is your favorite thing to target in the area? Where do you go, what do you use Etc. This time around I am more interested in catching as many new and big fish as possible, not necessarily concerned with if they are good eats. Thanks in advance!

I was recently in an accident a few weeks ago, and I’ve been meaning to get my car fixed. Though the damage is mostly external, I want to take it to a shop to get it fixed and parts pushed back into place, but I’m kind of skeptical of mechanics sometimes because I get scared they’ll know Idk anything about cars and scam me. I just want a shop that’s trustworthy and honest, and doesn’t charge insanely for their service. Obviously, if the service is good and actually worth the money, I don’t mind paying extra—I simply don’t want to spend more than I actually need to, and I would like to have a place I can return to without worry

A houseless person was harassing two disabled adults. When the people being harassed asked carls junior employees for help, the employee told the houseless person that if he didn’t order something he’d need to leave. The houseless person refused to leave, told the employee he could call the police. So the disabled people left. What to do.

I was at Huntington Beach(the part where the dogs are allowed on) when I saw this in the sand, when I looked online, I saw a lot of stones that look like this but each stone has a different name so that’s why I came here to see if anyone could recognize it.

One side of the stone does have a lot of brown while the other side is mostly grayish black and it does sparkle when I put it under the light
