Hey everyone im new to HB Just completed my house here and finally retiring. Any good spots for an old man to just relax and enjoy himself?
Looking for the best plummer in hb?
Maybe one suggestion for inexpensive and best overall
Hi, sorry if this question gets asked too much. I'm a newbie planning on purchasing tickets to the Air Show this year. Which seats provide the best view and immersive experience? GA, Pier, or Premiere? TIA for the advice!
A group of us, 6 adults and 4 kids ages 10-15, are renting an Air b and b in July. We're planning to do a whale watching trip/Beach day and a day at Disneyland. Any other ideas?
Thanks to our dumb as rocks maga 4 city council we are showing “leadership” in our library policies. SMH. 15:47.
Getting errors on etiix.com when trying to purchase tickets. Anyone else getting this error?
Anyone know if I can go to the box office and get tickets? Don't want to pay the parkup and processing fees on StubHub if I can avoid.
Thanks!
I've got a current 3rd grader who I will need to enroll in some day camps over the summer. I've looked into some specific activity camps (theater, swimming) along with general camps (Boys and Girl's club on Delaware).
Curious with any other parent's experiences with any of the day camps in the area. Any that you recommend or that we should avoid? Any experience with the BGHV? It looks like an affordable option but my wife was concerned with mixing grades 1-8 in a single facility.
Anyone know the extent of the power outage in downtown HB? Seems to be everyone along the Goldenwest edge at least.
basically I am looking for some tasty beans
I seriously never see anyone there, like EVER. I’ve driven by there so many different times of the day and it’s ALWAYS open. Never any cars in the parking lot, nobody eating at the tables, or anybody ordering at the window. It’s just dead. Even when I first moved here as a kid, I have probably seen people there less than 5 times and it’s never been more than two people. Like how is that place open when it’s NEVER busy?? Am I just never there when it gets busy or what like this has always bothered me
Hey fellow parents!
I'm currently looking into elementary schools for my child in the Oceanview School District and would love to hear from those of you who have experience with the schools in the area.
I have a couple of specific questions:
Your insights and feedback would be incredibly valuable in helping me make an informed decision for my child's education. Thanks in advance for your input!
Moving this summer to HB with an upcoming 4th grader. The area we are looking at is split between L Agnes Smith and John R Peterson Elementary Schools. The ratings of both are high, but there's a lot of reviews from parents about bullying, toxic office environments, and physical fights at Smith.
Hoping people here have some insight on the schools.. it's really hard to tell when reviews have merit or if it's overblown / the parents are full of it. If one of these schools is clearly better than the other then I would be willing to favor that zone when picking a place to live. I prefer that the commute to Smith does not involve crossing Beach.
looking for spots that have slopes
Again
So be an illiterate Karen. Got it. Disgusting abuse of authority and an affront to the English language.
I was at the Good Shepherd Cemetery and felt a single jolt.
Hello I was wondering if anyone knows a bakery that’s close to or in HB that makes Nutella croissants 🥐 please and thank you 🖤

Hey everyone,
I'm currently on a trip for DECA, and our school went to visit the huntington beach today(4/28). I left my phone somewhere(Mint colored iphone 11) and we had to go back to the hotel because it was getting late. I have my ID in there too, and I know this is a long shot but if anyone find its please let me know. Thank you!
(Also this might not even be the right place to post this, if it isn't, i'm sorry)

Hello fellow skaters,
I’m new to HB and trying to meet new people to skate with :). I’m a 24/M located down near the coast. If anyone wants to ride around downtown. Or head over to Edison. Let me know :). I also skate the church lot off 17th and Adams.
I’m hoping to put my EMT cert to use. I am a seasonal worker from Colorado. My Skoolie broke down so I’ve been trying to plant roots in HB.
Covid meant EMS ride alongs in rigs weren’t required and I was only made to complete my two hospital rotations for clinicals. I’m interested in doing a ride-along in an ambulance as it’s been a minute since I got my certification. Even though my scope would be less than it would be back home, I haven’t worked as an EMT and have only used my cert as a way to get pay increases at my seasonal gigs. I’d really like to get a feel for what to expect working in an ambulance.
Does HB fire allow for EMS ride-alongs? I’ve heard different things from different people. Does anybody have recommendations for EMS positions they’d recommend I apply to?
Why is the helicopter flying around so much at 2 in the morning???
