I wanna take my dad to watch the Pacific Air Show this weekend since he likes planes but he wouldn’t be able to make the walk from parking to the beach so I was wondering if anyone knew any place we could see the air show from inside the car or with extremely limited walking?
Is there any drop-in pickleball in HB? Kinda new to the area and I've been wanting to find a place to play semi-regularly

Hello. The Pacific Airshow is this weekend … any tips? Any rules? Best time to arrive to get a spot? TYIA
My friends and I bought tickets. Last year we parked at the pier and had to walk a long way lugging our stuff and it was tough. We got there around 5-6am (I don’t remember exactly what time) because I didn’t want to deal with traffic.
Does anyone know which parking lots are closed off to public parking? I feel like last year the ones right behind show center were reserved.
Would it be closer to park on the street behind show center if that’s allowed? City or state beach? Please share your experiences. Thank you!
I have a garage full of a dozen surfboards that I need to sell. Is there anywhere local that will give a reasonable price?
i work in a parking lot on main street and this guy didn’t wanna pay for his ticket bc he has the city parking pass. i told him that i wasn’t sure if that pass was something we accepted cuz i had never seen it before. he had a snarky attitude so i so badly wanted him to be wrong. he kept putting the paper in my face and saying oh u do it’s the city
anyways so does it ? i did a quick google search and it said city beach parking lots from beach blvd to 6th street so maybe it does ? but i don’t think this lot i work at is “city owned”
idk maybe i’m dumb
Are there any running tracks open to the public in HB?
So we were just at Greer Lake. Some guy pulled up that the ducks apparently recognized, because they all headed to his car.
He pops open his trunk and pulls out a pizza box . He fed his leftovers to the ducks. I was shocked. He heard me say ARE YOU SERIOUS?? and left
From what I remember, it was a fairly large ship that ran aground(on the beach) in Huntington Beach. I can't find anything about it online. Does anyone remember this?
I’ve never been bit so many times. A lot of dragonflies around too and I hope they’re eating the mosquitos.
I remember back in the mid 90s there used to be a fun dive bar I believed named R-Place. I used to drive down from Pasadena to meet friends. I believe it was on the corner of Magnolia and Adams. I could have the location wrong though.
Yesterday we set our beach spot up near a fire ring that had a couple of chairs near it and a beach towel in the pit. OK, I thought. Some people are probably nearby and are probably doing some beach stuff and will be back.
6 HOURS go by and nobody has been to that fire ring once. We asked every group around the ring if they were using, or knew where the people were. All blank answers so we built a fire. There was a beach towel and some chairs but NOBODY was near it.
So when it started getting dark and cold we built a fire in the fire ring, THEN 20 kids with pizza show up and tell us "they reserved it online" which is total bullshit, this wasn't a picnic area. But I wasn't interested in making a big stink over a pile of wood, so we just let them have the fire we built and went back to our spot 20 feet away.
Does this happen a lot? kids show up, put a few towels and chairs around a fire ring, then leave for literally all day thinking they properly called dibs? Cause that's really unfair and stupid. It was unattended for so long it was effectively abandoned.
29(M) where are the best Clubs/Bars out here? Lol I’m ready to get out the house and have some fun tonight!!
My car died off Hamilton and newland yesterday. Lights were indicating that it could be the alternator. (She’s a 2010 Toyota Corolla) Does anyone know of an auto shop that also can tow? Or is it most likely towing is separate?
Almost done and ready to cruise PCH and HB:) Thank you Great Bear Automotive Center, Beach Blvd just north of Adams. Across the street from AAA.

I've been sad ever since Lucci's closed, and in search of a good sub sando, any gems in HB/OC?
Title says it. A whole block of police cruisers, most with lights on, officers at every exit, don't with high power assault rifles. I'm guessing domestic violence or hostage situation. Anyone have more info?
