The Auto Center Shopping Plaza in Foothill Ranch (Bake / Towne Center are the cross streets) has a major rodent problem. I live in one of the neighborhoods that is in very close proximity (there are 2 of us)… and it’s gotten so bad that rats are coming in to our community. Our HOA has sprayed and set up traps, but I found a rat in my garage earlier this week. 🤮 I have lived here for 8.5 years and never seen this issue. We have contacted the Environmental Compliance Office at the City, the property management company who oversees the property, and all of the businesses individually asking them to ensure their dumpsters are properly closed (as this is what is attracting the rats). We are taking photos each day when we go by and see the dumpsters open. Looking for suggestions on what to do? It feels very much like hot potato / blame game. It feels like it’s a joint effort needed between the city holding the management company accountable. And the property management company holding the businesses and their trash people accountable. In fact, one of the restaurants there was shut down due to rodent infestation just last month. Just simply asking to not live in filth. Would love any suggestions on how to get them to close the dumpsters (a simple ask in my opinion).

I have a question regarding traffic on Interstate 5 coming south from Laguna Hills to Anaheim. Of course, I've already looked on Google to see what the traffic is like there between 7 and 8am on weekday mornings (not good ;-)), but is that also true when using the HOV lane? Can you get through reasonably well or is it just as congested?

Did anyone else happen to see a massive shoot of light go down around 8:02pm tonight? Was on the 91W about to get on the 55S and saw the most MASSIVE beam of light fly directly down from the sky and disappear behind Anaheim/Placentia. Way too fast to be an airplane and so insanely bright. I honestly braced for impact because of how close it looked. Anyone? Is there a SpaceX rocket maybe? Never seen anything like it in my entire life. Especially on a not clear night like this.

Im going to Riverside from Mission Viejo for the first time and do not have a toll pass. My GPS is set to avoid tolls but it says to take the 91 East, and I'm confused if that whole freeway is a toll or if i can drive it without going into the express lane.
