I had and still have problems with my mental health. This is not an isolated case, it is a general problem for people. I say that without judgment, because every story is different. Not being allowed to talk about it may still be ingrained here and there, but – to put it casually – if you have a broken leg, you seek help and don’t hide away.
The trick is to motivate yourself. I discovered writing for myself in 1996 and over the years I have learned that I am not alone with the turmoil in my head. I started to support and raise awareness about mental health, sometimes through unexpected means.
In 2022 came an idea that still prioritizes art and creation, but thinks around the whole “keep the ball rolling”, “keep going despite setbacks” and “work focused towards set goals” a bit. I started developing a video game with an exciting, dangerous journey and search for Anna at its core. Anna: The Magic of Words has been in development since summer 2022.
A long time ago, I set out on my own quest for happiness and well-being. The project development helps me to focus on my goals. The motivation to keep going despite setbacks should also help other people. And by the way, I already has found my Anna.
I love to get your feedback, if you like.
I wanna homebrew my 3ds but I don’t have Mario cart 7. Is there a way to do it without that game?

I am trying to make a ps5 game but I do not trust a giant corporate entity with my location and personal info. How do I bypass the PS5 antipiracy measures to release my own game without their permission?

I hope more homebrewers become inspired to make more games for Atari consoles that aren't the 2600. Atari consoles have a lot of potential, and the 7800 especially has a lot going for it on a technical level from what I have learned about it! Also love the 5200, Lynx, and Jaguar! This is just one of the homebrews being made, and it looks so beautiful!
I have a 2019 Nintendo switch and I was really starting to get into mods, I had a friend do all the jailbreak stuff for me and I had him install relics of the past. It worked great for a while and I continued to add mods then one day I tried to download a mod for links house and all the mods quit working. We tried to fix it but eventually we just cleared all the mods away. Recently I tried to redownload relics of the past and I did everything right but the mod didn’t activate. If someone could help me that would be great.
Thus pops up every time I click GO GO GO! What do I do
Hey y'all. I want to find as many different kinds of featuer tokens I could make that would be fun for a shirt made of heather tokens. Kinda like the robe of many patches.
What's up everybody? Just wanna let you all know that the kick starter dropped for the NES game called Googie Toons! Me and the fellas from Pacnsac Games has been working on this game really hard. The cartoons were made by yours truly, check out the kick starter. 🙏💯 https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/aspens-adventure/googie-toons-the-game?ref=project_build
Hello,
I would love to try to get introduced to the homebrew scene. I’d appreciate help with outlining steps that I should follow before so that I can try to code a simple game in assembly language for a console such as the Atari 2600 (open to suggestion as well for a first console that may be easier to start with) I’d want to go through necessary concepts before hand and not just dip in headfirst without understanding what’s going on :)
For context: I’m a confident programmer in Java and Python + some experience in C/Arduino. I haven’t done much with Assembly to this day. Moreover, my experience with coding games is limited to very simple things like snake and minesweeper. My coding domain lies mathematical simulations/modelling, neural networks, etc.
What would you advice ? Any recommendations of books, websites, etc ? Thanks !
I used USB Loader GX because I wanted to play my own games on Dolphin. I don't know why I'm suddenly getting these errors. Getting sick of it. :'( Hope someone can help me. And idk why I'm not getting any images. Games play well tho.
For my current Mega Drive game (https://safetystoatstudios.itch.io/mythdragon wink wink) I'm attempting to derive a background from a cool NASA photo of the sun (https://science.nasa.gov/image-detail/amf-pia25628/). It would be super cool if I could give the photo to some tool, and that tool builds an optimal set of say 32 8x8 tiles, and then rebuilds the photo out of those tiles. Or, put another way, I'd like a tool that optimizes how much you can compress an image on an MD cart. Does such a thing exist? Thanks!
The sequel to Traumatarium is up on itch.io! Worked super hard to try and take the graphics of the previous and step it up even more, as well as hopefully create an even more engaging gaming experience!
Both it and the original are on sale for 50% off, or you can try out the demo and see how you dig it(it has a pretty robust slice, so hopefully gives a good idea of the game)!
Hi folks, I’m not KHan, but I’m a close friend who came to share that his latest game, Courier, is up on kickstarter! It is an NES homebrew from the prolific NES homebrewer KHan games. The game is already fully funded. The special edition is already sold out but there’s still time to get your physical copy!
