Did you know that there were games made for the NES, SNES, Virtual Boy, and Gameboys that came out after Nintendo had moved on to the newer systems? You’re reading that right! And no, I’m not talking about Tengen or Color Dreams! A small group of dedicated fans have spent the last fifteen years growing a community of artists, coders, and dreamers who spend their spare time making new games for old systems!

Just because the companies gave up on their cart based systems, doesn't mean we have!

Two aftermarket Game Boy Advance games are coming soon!

Ladies and gentlemen, there are not one, but two aftermarket Game Boy Advance games being made and due for release in the coming months, many years after the system was discontinued!

  • After numerous delays, Goodboy Galaxy, a Metroid-like sidescroller, is targeting a holiday 2023 release. Pre-orders for the initial GBA release are already up.
  • WayForward has also announced a GBA sequel to Shantae, subtitled Risky Revolution. It is planned to release sometime next year and it will be published by Limited Run Games.

Are you looking forward to seeing these two games come out?
