We were fishing when my boyfriend heard a splash and looked into the water to find a copperhead swimming across to our side. I kept saying, “Where?!” He kept saying, “Right there!” He was right in front of me and I couldn’t see him he blended in so well. We decided not to head blindly into the woods without being super aware after that lol.
The toads were so loud tonight! Is this a Colorado River toad or a Red-spotted Toad?
Location: Pima County, AZ
Thank you! 🐸
Dendrobates Auratus or Tinctorius?
Just love seeing these little cuties.
Just got this girl last week at the Hamburg Reptile show in PA. Took her out just now to feed her for the first time and noticed this on her side. It's soft to the touch and she doesn't wince or anything when I touch it. Does anyone know what it could be? How concerned should I be?
Anyone know what this little cutie is? Found in Northern California.
We had this little guy show up on our porch just now. I'm wondering if anyone can help identify what kind of snake this is. Thanks in advance.
It was 5am and I found this little fella in my bathroom. Had to rush to get ready for work so I set it up in a temp tub. I would had just let them out when I found them but it was 55F out and I didn’t want to throw it into shock. Forecast says 72F tonight when I get home so gonna release them then. In the meantime they enjoying a warm muddy tub
I live in Perth in Western Australia and just found this dude in the garden. Is it a baby legless lizard or a baby danger noodle? Or a baby regular noodle? It is only about 15cms long and I first thought it was a worm.
Just some skink appreciation
