Yo guys, my game keeps crashing at the ending cutscene after the campaign mission "What Could Go Wrong?" so i can't continue the story. I can't find anything about it so i have no clue how to troubleshoot this. Any help?

Loved halo wars on Xbox for many years - have tried getting into another RTS-ish game like Total War, but it just didn’t feel the same.

Is command and conquer close? What do yall play now?

Gods, I want a Halo Wars game that allows you to play as all of the factions from both games. I wanna have games of Banished vs Covenant, as well as for potential new playable factions, like the Insurrection, Forerunner Prometheans, and the Flood

So I've been trying Arcadia City on legend and I can't even really have my base up before everything goes bad. Idk if it's my copy, but convoys A and B get attacked for me as soon as all 3 pop up. I don't really get how I'm supposed to build a base while trying to heal them constantly, on top of actually building any units. I almost forgot to mention as well that I've normally got wraiths, locusts and hunters attacking my one base. So yeah, idk what to do and Google hasn't really given me anything helpful for the beginning of the stage. I read some tips on what to do once you're already set up. I just don't know how to solidify setting up on this particular level

I'm just curious, why was the Prophet of Regret the only leader of the OG 6 commanders from Halo Wars that didn't return for Halo Wars 2? Ik the Banished are not the Covenant, but the Arbiter 'Moramee is here which is a Covenant title, and also dead. and so are Forge and Johnson, but they got be leaders, so why no Prophet?

did someone on the team have a grudge against Robin Atkin Downes for some reasons or did they just forgot about it?

(also I guess Brute Cheiften didn't return but him just being a generic brute leader doesn't matter when half the Banished team are all brute leaders)

My brothers and I continue to play Halo Wars definitive edition against the AI and it’s still fun to this day. That being said, it’s either 2 or 3 of us against the computer, and legendary doesn’t always cut it! Down to add some more people!

Not sure if steam is the same version, but we invite each other through the Xbox app on our computers.

I can’t go more than 3 games without crashing once around 10-15 minutes in. I tried messing with the in-game settings and tweaking graphics card/drivers (setting stuff to low, turning off foliage etc) , is the game just bad or what?

I bought the Halo Wars 2 Complete Edition a couple years back and never played it until today since I’ve finished halo wars one, I have no idea what the leader packs do and where you use them. Just wanted to know before I actually start playing the game, are they for campaign or the multiplayer?

I just got a friend into halo wars 2 and now whenever we try to load up a custom the game just loads forever. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi all, I got the game about a month ago and need help getting 100% completion on Steam.

The multiplayer scene is pretty dead, so I’m looking for someone willing to play 1v1 with me so I can get the two achievements for winning an online game. I also want to complete the co-op mission “Repair,” which we can finish in under 4 minutes.

How do I see teammates rank in halo wars 2, I know you can because my teammates have said my rank but where do I go to find theirs.

If HW2 were to have cosmetic packs (skins) for leaders, which cosmetic packs would you like to see and on which leaders?

— I’m not talking about fortnite level Nikki Minaj collabs. I mean real cosmetics that fit with the character.

I’d like to see:

Isabel - Digital pack - reskin vehicles and air to have digital blue streaks that make them look more electronic

Cutter - classic pack - I’m thinking of the classic hw1 flaming warthog. Add flame decal to odst helmets, warthogs, and scorpions

Atriox - War pack - even darker armor to brutes and the chosen. Black and (team color) banshees and engineers. Chunkier looking harvesters and extractors.

I’d love to see what others here can think of !

Been playing through Game Pass so far and absolkutely loving it, I want to buy all the content, especially the expansion cause I love Firefight modes from MCC, but not if the game is going to be on a 50% or so discount sometime soon lmao.

Does the game go on sale frequently, is it worth waiting for one or do I just grab the lot now?

My friend and I are wanting to do better in Halo Wars 2. We like playing 3v3 ranked and we're stuck in silver. Would anyone here like to be our third wheel and also teach us how to play better? Any amount of help would be cool, once a month, once a week, et cetera.

What is a reasonable counter for mech spam. It feels unrealistic trying to deal with armies apon armies of these every match. How does one effectively counter them as forge or colony

If I use Isabel to hijack many units and then use combat salvage after they die, will it go over pop. I already have 120 population when this happens. My guess they just wouldnt spawn unless I had less than 120 and the amount is enough for the unit type.

Hi I don’t know if anyone has encountered this or if this is a known issue I’ve had this annoying bug in my mind for a month and now I have time to put it on here.

I’m on Xbox Series X, I’ve completed the base campaign and awakening the nightmare.

So what’s the bug? Well after some time, all my campaign saves, phoenix logs for Awakening the nightmare… gone.

All my Phoenix log, that are just from the base game, don’t get lost but become “unread”. What’s weird is when I go into each section where the phoenix logs became “unread”, the fourth one on the list appears as if it’s already read. Like I said, I’ve completed both campaigns, I can watch all cinematics of the campaigns and replay every mission, even still has on what difficulty I beat each mission, highest medal and best time. But for Awakening the nightmare all the other stuff (optional objects, bonus objectives, skulls, campaign logs) all read 0.

For other info, here’s the DLCs I have on:

• Forge
• Awakening the nightmare
• “Welcome to the Ark”
• I don’t have the other DLCs (looking to buy a new physical copy of the ultimate edition)

Does anyone have a fix, workaround or knows the root cause of this very frustrating bug? I’m the kind of person to always 100% (or collect collectibles) games so this is just a slap on the face.
