as the title suggests, i'm having problems with my config.

My Crosshair and Mouse settings are Reset, when i start the Game, i have no clue why that is happening. Idk if i have a fault in my CFG but it only happens with those 2 settings (as far as i know, i didn't change much else tbh). My graphical settings don't change for example. Anybody had the same problem and found a fix?

I know that in csgo you could do two left clicks and one right click to knife someone, and if you missed the first swing, it wouldn't be enough damage for a kill

tho while goofing around i noticed that right now, if the opponent is wearing armor, and I have two of them, knifing one that way works, but to knife the second one right after, I need to wait like 1+ seconds or it won't be enough for a kill

does someone remember if it was the same in GO and what the specific time is that you have to wait?

Hi, I have stumbled upon a bug that makes it impossible for me to look at my inventory history, because since the 1st of November 2024, it shows any item not in my inventory as a default grade skin, which means that I cannot see the skin of said item.

I will for example only see if it is StatTrak, a souvenir or the specific type of knife. I will also not see who I traded with.

if the item is in a Storage Unit it is considered as not in my inventory anymore, thus not showing me the skin itself nor the collection, or anything.

I noticed in the past few weeks that I am playing even more worse than usual. Unable to get easy kills, missing basic shots, having the worst timings, not able to do the things that I used to do before this weird phase that I am experiencing now. I did take a small break in October as the game was super unplayable for me due to constant frametime spikes all the time + I was burnt out by playing CS. Came back to the game around November after someone helped me fix the issues temporarily.

Then I just lost all confidence in my aim duels and decision makings. I keep panicking on situations where it is not even a cause of concern. I went back to training my aim to regain bits of my confidence but when I go into DM or a game, I get instant HS all the time which made me even more demoralized and left me wondering what I need to do.

When I play premier, I feel this sense of dread of playing this mode in particular. If I have a choice, I wont want to play this mode but my friends keep insisting on playing this mode no matter what even if I voiced out to them that I am just not comfortable playing premier anymore. I tend to play more poorly in this mode. Unable to secure kills, always getting bad timing on enemies and etc. It doesn't help that I was put into 18-20K games when I am just 13k. Yeah sure, I may be 20k last time but something in me keep telling that I cant win this fight, cant clutch this round, cant hit this shot and etc.

I do enjoy playing competitive mode and I noticed I play slightly better over there while having fun. Despite this, I still feel that I am not on the same level as before. In general, I really feel uncomfortable in playing CS these days but just like a drug, this game keeps calling me back to play it. I don't know what to do on how to address this confidence loss.

For the next 10 months I’m going to be traveling a lot for work. I already have a desktop in my office but I’m looking for the cheapest laptop I can get to play cs2 at 100fps. I don’t need anything crazy for work+gaming, I realistically just need to have a few programs open on my desktop in the background while I play cs2.

Used, or new is fine I just need to run the game at about 100fps.

I know this gets posted way too much but I just want to see what others think. Especially since it’s the end of the year I wanna hear some new opinions that aren’t from a post in January.

I have ryzen 5 5600x and rtx 67000xt. Games keep closing mid game. Its unplayable at this point. Any idea how to fix?

I have cleared all the files, uninstalled the game. Did a clean installation nothing helps.

I’ve wondered this for a while, I know all the computers at the majors get an ssd with just what they need but do they bring their own computers? Also is there a required monitor because from what I’ve seen everyone uses the same monitor?

Anyone who ever played COD competitively back in the day or even now, knows about GameBattles and CMG (Check Mate Gaming). For those who don't, its basically a site where you can sign up for little tournaments (1v1s, 2v2s, - 5mans etc.) and you play each other for money that you put into a pot. Someone talking trash in game? You tell them to bet money on a 1v1 on CMG. Got a 5 stack and wanna play another 5 stack for some money? You can do that too. Anyway. I'm wondering if there is anything like this for CS? Also, why doesn't CMG add CS to their list of available games. I don't expect anyone to be able to answer that second questions unless maybe they know someone from CMG staff personally and they don't seem to have a subreddit for me to ask that.

I haven't played CS since 2017. I'm really itching for some nostalgia.

Hi everybody!

I was constantly playing CS and was somewhat good at it, however I was out for a year now and I just had my new gaming setup. Did anything change with the updates of the game since I didn't follow the game much, is there anything new that I should necessarily adopt? Did the guns change? Nades? Anything new that should be used in regular gameplay.

Im constently carring and having to pick up the slack of other teamates. I nearly have to make all the important kills in a round just to have a winning chance. The more I lose the more I have mouth breathing rock eating teamates. Is this just a skill issuie and have to carry more? Any advice?
