SUBREDDIT RULES
1 All posts should be directly related to the Counter-Strike workshop and only items eligible to get added are allowed. (No knives or custom models)
2 You can give ideas and feedback but don't ask others to create something for you.
3 Do not ask people to vote/favorite in your submission, or in the comments
4 Before asking for help have a look at the F.A.Q at the top of the page.
5 Submissions made with art which is not your own will be removed, and on the first strike you will get a 30 day ban. If the rule is broken again it changes to a permanent ban.
6 Limit yourself to only 2 posts per day. (Resets at 0:00 CET)
7 No top list of skins (Top 10, best of workshop, etc) Taste in design is subjective and making top lists is pointless since most of the time people will not agree.
8 Submissions of CSGO workshop items and maps must be submitted by the creator, no posts intended to mock or deride other people's creations.
9 Don't submit your entire workshop, or collections of items which you've previously posted links to on this subreddit.
10 Be civil. No personal attacks, feedback should be constructive - don't call anyone's work shit, tell them how you'd improve it and why you don't like it.

I downloaded weapon skins from Counter-Strike Workshop Resources and created a simple AK-47 skin by filling in some colors using Blender. But how do I upload it to the Steam Workshop?
I know I need to use the CS2 Workshop Tool and import the skin via Gunsmith, but is it true that I still need to use VTFEdit before uploading? I tried saving the skin as a .tga file format without using VTFEdit, but when I inspect the weapon in-game, it looks dark and broken, more like camo, not as it appears in the UV view.
Also, do I need an additional .mdl file if my skin gets chosen by Valve for CS2? if so, how do I create it? This is one of the most difficult parts, and I have no idea how to proceed. Or can I just skip it and rely on the .tga file format with the UV?
So I guess Volvo can break their own rules? Clearly the color is outside of the 55-220 range, therefore not suitable for the PBR engine. Why? Valve pls fix.

Is there any way to take any charm model from the game and view it in Blender or SFM? Any help or comments on this would be greatly appreciated :)
I have a question about creating skins that have elements that have glow.
How to learn to make my own such glow elements because I do not know and I have good concepts.
If someone has such knowledge and wants to share it then feel free, but if someone does not want to write here so that everyone can learn it then feel free to private chat.!
how do i start a game with my own skin so that me and my friends could play with it?
Can you actually use gradients in gunsmiths finishes ? Every time I try using them they create pixelated effect.
