Do you CLASH with your partner?
Couples are needed for the Couple CLASH study!
Researchers from Deakin University in Australia are seeking to track couples over time to identify what combination of factors cause some couples to clash and others to thrive. Couple CLASH is a study dealing with issues around Conflict, Love, Attitudes, Stress and Hardships (CLASH).
Couples who choose to participate will complete 5 surveys over a 12-month period. Each survey is expected to take approximately 40 minutes. You and your partner will be asked about your experiences in relationships, current life stress, substance use, pornography use, attitudes, and aspects of your personalities.
Participate with your partner and share a total of 3.5 hours of your time over 12-months and at the completion of the entire study, couples will receive:
Participants who are currently living in Australia are also invited to take part in a video-recorded discussion task at the start and the end of the study. This is an optional activity and you will receive an additional $40AUD gift voucher (per couple) if you choose to take part in the video-recorded discussion tasks. Please see our website for more information.
Whether you are only completing the surveys or you are living in Australia and choose to also take part in the discussion tasks, you and your partner must both be willing and able to participate, over the age of 18, fluent in English and not currently subject to criminal proceedings. You must also feel safe in your relationship and not feel at risk of harm or punishment from participating in the study.

Yeah, so I've never lived with someone else so I would need recommendations of how best to set up our gaming situation. We have our room, living room, and a seperate room not dedicated to anything yet. We would need to find room for 2 xboxes. At first I was like, we could be in the same room?? But I'm realizing if we are both on mic with friends that could get very loud/echo-y. We do like to watch netflix at the end of the day, so I'm thinking one should be in the bedroom? I don't really know! What works for you all??
Full disclosure: this is background for a university paper. If anyone is willing to be officially interviewed please DM me and we can get into contact. If this is not allowed in the sub, lets me know mods and I'll be happy to edit the post to remove this section!
Have you ever used VR devices, such as Oculus, in long distance relationships? How did that experience go?
Did they feel different than a traditional connection like FaceTime or multiplayer game? And what games or platforms did you find most effective at reproducing intimacy?
Myself and my fiancee have started streaming and playing games together and thoroughly enjoying it but as we are sat next to each other in our gaming set up our mics are picking up each others voices which is causing horrible interference. What have people done to fix this? Are there mics we can use that will only pick up the person closest for example?
We have our computers all set up and we are now wanting some nice supportive chairs that don't break the bank. We are looking to spend up to £150 each if possible. Any recommendations? Thank you in advance!
We’re able to offer as part of the programme paid flights, hotel and an allowance when filming. It’s a great opportunity for anyone where the cost factor is keeping them from meeting. We really want to champion and help facilitate these amazing relationships!

Hello guys, so me and my gf have been playing GTA Online for a couple months now (PC) and it seems like we ran out of 2 player activities to do, we love to play and help new players with anything but we kind of get bored when we have no one else to play with nor no activity or mission to do.
So anyways we do enjoy playing with more people especially new players so we can help, if you're interested in playing with us leave a comment or a message (:
We're also open to play more games
So my wife and I just got 2 TVs and 2 Series X consoles. We’re looking for comfortable, wireless headsets. But we are fearful of interference.
6 years ago we both had PCs in one room, and we bought 2 Logitech G933s which interfered like crazy even though we were not even sitting next to each other.
So now we are in a love seat recliner next to one another so we’re afraid it’ll be even worse.
What are your experiences?

Olliolli world is a skateboarding game like you Never played before. A perfect game for couples! Beat your partner's highscore and find out who's a real skatewizard in this gnarly game!
My wife and I started playing it takes two. Before this game we used to play fighting games exclusively.
The issue is that she can't play for long sessions as she is having hard time with the controls. Often missing jumps and not being able to aim properly. What are some tips you can give her. (xbox controller)

We are 31F and 33M and play on PC. We would love to start a new farm with another couple!
Hello internet persons, couples, and other entities, but I'd like to toss this out there for anyone that might be interested. My partner and I are looking for another couple or partner groups to play cooperative games with, as well as make friends with along the way.
need some cross-compatible game suggestions she has a ps4 and I'm on pc any suggestions as we play almost the same game every day thankyou for any and all suggestions ^^
We loved this game, but it was painfully buggy (see the cap gun bug and others https://youtu.be/Q7C_-aRIQZA), and it finally glitched to a stop when we couldn't progress the main quest any more. So here we are craving it like a pair of addicts!!
Anyone else here try to play this one locally?
I have a girlfriend that I intend to marry. I am a PC gamer and she has expressed interest in gaming with me. Should we each get a gaming PC in the future or each get a console? Which do you think would cost less in the long run? Thanks for replying.
