Does Gambit even exist any more?

I haven't been able to log on for such a long time and nobody from customer support answers my emails.

Why would Gambit Rewards end if it's owned by such a wealthy company?

While I understand a handful of users may have been "gaming" the system, most of us, myself included, never even heard of the "scandal" until Gambit Rewards sent us an email.

I'm more upset that we can't convert whatever we had left in our accounts to Swagbucks, especially considering both companies are owned by Prodege and Prodege has a lot of money (see below article)

https://www.prodege.com/blog/prodeges-record-year-showcases-innovation-in-evolving-tech-landscape-and-charts-a-strong-course-for-2022/

It's sad because the company has always been fair with users on their other platforms (Swagbucks, Inbox dollars, etc.)

I hope even if Gambit Rewards as a brand is finished they at least let users who played fairly convert what they have left to SB.

Account deactivated?

I just tried signing in and it said "this account has been deactivated." Didn't get an email notification or explanation or anything. Is Gambit officially done? What's going on?

After 10 days of emailing Gambit customer support I finally got a response!

Read their response below. Such BS. Did anyone else get this email?

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Gambit's Prize Token conversions are dynamic, and are adjusted periodically to reflect current market conditions, as well as risk exposure. These rates are always subject to change, and may fluctuate from time to time.  Prize Token rates are monitored closely internally, and may change in the future.

Gambit reward gift cards

There is a Gambit gift card 8% off on Piggy Cards (https://piggy.cards/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=1461). You have to pay via stablecoins to get the digital gift cards, which is about 2% transaction fees. Stablecoins like USDC, USDT are 1:1 to USD.

So, in total, you get about 6.1% off Gambit gift cards from Piggy Cards. This will increase the profits of Gambit hedging bets.

Gambit has removed all sports except American Football?

I am only seeing American football as an option to bet on. They have gotten rid of everything else, making it pointless to use and football will be ending soon. Any idea as to why?

How long do results take to update? Bet on a college football game yesterday and won, but gambit still hasn’t updated the result yet almost 24 hours after the game ended.

Best odds you see regularly?

Since there isn't a bot scraping odds and calculating returns anymore, I usually click around all the games to find the best odds. It seems like Gambit uses the same odds regularly, at least with baseball. The best hedging odds I see regularly are 1.73/2.05 (there's a game with that today). Do you see anything better? (I know things may change when football comes back)

Error Message when trying to use tokens

I have already sent an email to Gambit Rewards Support. But, is anyone else running into the following error message when trying to use their tokens when wagering on a MLB game?

Oops! There seems to be an error.

PG::NumericValueOutOfRange: ERROR: numeric field overflow DETAIL: A field with precision 10, scale 2 must round to an absolute value less than 10^8. : UPDATE "transactions" SET "closing_gambit_balance" = $1 WHERE "transactions"."id" = $2

Continued: 10% Discount and 1-for-1 SB exchange rate!

Received today:

Continue enjoying the best deal in town!

That's right! The 10% discount on Gambit cards and the 1-for-1 SB exchange rate is extended 📷

I would think it would have to be at least good for all of July.

July 1st: Introducing Gambit Savings!

If the 1-1 conversion stops as of July 1st even this addition will probably not make Gambit Rewards profitable. Come July 1st a complete reevaluation can be made.

Gambit rewards still profitable

With the 10% discount and Gambit rewards points converting to Swagbucks on a 1-1 ratio, Gambit rewards can be quite profitable especially if you are buying 2 10,000 point cards per day.

Browsing the r/Swagbucks and saw...

10% off card redemptions over the month of January according to an email that was sent out. That means you'll pay 900 swagbucks for 1000 play tokens. If you're into hedging odd/even Powerball you'll get 955 prize tokens which can then be converted back to 907(.25) swagbucks making a profit of 7 swagbucks.

They have added an array of giftcard options at a 1:1 ratio.

Remember: minimum conversion from prize tokens to swagbucks is 500, thus the 500 card is pointless unless you intend to actually play rather than hedging Powerball.

Also, when I logged into Gambit to check rates I was given 100 free tokens to play for some reason that escaped me. I'm not sure if I'll be up for playing, but I at least thought to share.

5% off cards! But...

Converting back into SB is at 1G to 0.95SB so don't even think about zero hedging. Not that it will be easy since odd/even PowerBall is 1.9 even and 1.92 odd. Also Gambit Profit has been on the fritz, so finding high odds plays requires clicking on each individual game.

So I'm just posting because I'm done with Gambit personally. Not angry done, just done, and whenever I come to see if there's any new posts from anyone, I see a few people online likely doing the same. Anyway, I've been using the profit site for high odds, favored and draw plays on soccer/futbol games. It had been going mostly well where a single rare loss would require 7 or 8 wins to cover. Then a month or so ago profit started bugging out and then eventually stopped showing plays at all, so I just estimated for myself on which soccer/futbol games to play. That's when I started trending badly and would suffer a loss when I was right at the brink of breaking even. When the discount came I went with a 500 token card and thought I'd do some zero hedging to make at least a very small regular profit, but right after I received my tokens, I saw the 1:0.95 conversion and... I decided to throw everything on odd for yesterday's PowerBall. I won and made a very nice sum and as of several hours ago I've converted my tokens and made a big Paypal redemption.

And there you have it, anyone who might still lurk this subreddit. I want to reiterate that I'm not angry with Gambit. It just hasn't felt particularly worth playing for me these last several months. The 1:0.95 conversion feels a little underhanded though. Like "Get your tokens at 5% off, but pay a 5% fee when you convert back." And the 500 minimum conversion makes me feel like 300 and 500 card redemption amounts can lock your funds a little too unfairly, but maybe that's just me.

I'll still pop in to see anything new here and on either sites redemption pages(I'm not going to close my Gambit account), but unless things that effectively raise payouts happen, I doubt I'll play anymore games. For those who still are, good luck to you! Peace ~w^y

Can you earn swagbucks still?

This might be a very dumb question but I’ve heard that you can’t earn swagbucks from gambit anymore. Is this true or and you still claim and get gift cards from it

Question for Garwald

Pretty sure you know I'm a fan of yours Garwald. If you didn't you do now :)

I understand limiting the Gambit discussion in Swagbucks to the Megathread. But I don't understand the purpose of having a dedicated Gambit subreddit if you're not going to allow discussion of Gambit here.

Could you please explain your thinking?

New Gambit Frozen Account eMail

Gambit Frozen Accounts Status

On April 2, 2021, we conducted an audit of player accounts to flag any activity consistent with the use of 3rd party apps that illicitly manipulate the Gambit platform in order to produce an unfair advantage for their members. These accounts have been temporarily frozen, which results in the displaying of a zero balance for all token categories.

Please note, your account balances have NOT been eliminated and will be restored once a final review has been completed.

Gambit Monitoring and Compliance
