I have 1 month of game pass ultimate and am planning to redeem 1 month of game pass core form microsft rewards. Will that require me to input credit card imformation. Even if my subscription has auto renew turned off.

I don't like the use of the word Ultimate. Because it could be use in two ways :

• being or happening at the end of a process; final.
• being the best or most extreme example of its kind.

Another thing, as much as I enjoy the idea of such a high amount, the amount itself is crazy high, which can add to the theory that it would be in fact, the "end of a process" but also "the most extreme of its kind".

And one last thing to add to this, is that there is no "usual small prizes" to win after the end of this month (If there is in your country, let me know) :

If you've read up to this, there hasn't been any speculation yet, so here I go.

This could be the end of sweeptakes altogether. Is that a bad thing in general ? I personnaly don't think so as I have always seen this as a waste of points, BUT I have also witnessed through this sub that people won prizes, tablets, lots of months of XGU, The Scorpion Desktop (15000$) that was denied because of tax issues, some amounts of cash, tablets, etc. And for those few people that were lucky enough to win big, that could be the end.

Due to the crazy high amount of cash, and other factors (I'll list underneath) like nerfs and the suddenly and abruptly end of Xbox Ambassador program (sweeptakes)

My worst fear is that they could also end the Microsoft Rewards program (MSR) by the end of this year, giving us then few month(s) to spend our points (I'd like you to take into account that they only gave us few days, like 2 weeks to spend Xbox Ambassador points). If you can't even bear reading that idea, use the <remind me bot in 3 months> and feel free to downvote me there.

Before they bought Activision Blizzard King (ABK), before they made a huge financial investment in both AI and massive changes in their services to include it. The program was gradually increasing in terms of points and also more diverse in terms of sources of points.

Xbox Gamepass was already profitable, but since it, they kept increasing the monthly price, they canceled the " 1$ or so " offer. To the point where now it is highly profitable for them.

Yet began the decrease of sources and points, increased "logical OR stupid" constraints (to which some of them are still bugged since their implemtation, yes, looking at you "you're on the go").

The ratio nerf, to which we spend more pts to get the same as before (I made the topic that tracked most country that participated in the comment section thanks to many of you https://www.reddit.com/r/MicrosoftRewards/comments/1b7ybti/new_points_rates_update_11_5_8_33_20_25/).

The abrupt end of the Xbox Ambassador (XA) program, which even the mods and other employees had only received the informations few hours before there rest of the community. A program that was about to click on stuff to collect points to participate in sweeptakes and also being able to gain 1 month of XGU each quarter if reaching enough XP.

I want to add my personnal feedback and feeling about something too.

When I first joined MSR & XA programs, it felt odly weird (and kind of still does) that Microsoft would create such programs and especially MSR as they would give way too much to people participating in them. Add the 1:1 XLG to XGU ratio going on at the time was as crazy, especially considering the grey market opportunity to get many months for almost nothing.

All of this did add up quickly, felt wayyyyyy too good to be true, but it was. So my first expectation was them putting an end to that crazy XLG ratio, and while I was still a recent user compared to some of you with 5 years of grinding and more, I couldn't stop thinking that it would definitly change very soon as Gamepass really started to be popular and profitable, and just a few month after that as i kept of little hope about this, I did the XLG XGU conversion then a freaking month later, the ratio was modified from 1:1 to 3:2.

What's "funny" again is that with all the changes going on, i feared they would harm the ratio again, so i bought 6 month of XGU and they gave 1 for free, then again, few months after, they did. Now the ratio is even worse, there are more constraints, and with the huge nerf of points for over 12 months now, the best offer to extend or even use the same methodology to get the more months of XGP has changed from XLG/XGC (core) to XGPC (PC). To some countries it remains profitable using the 3 months code but it's only "slightly" profitable.

Yes I am aware that the program has "evolved", including now more countries that ever before. But you should read the TOS, they can terminate the program when they wish to almost without annoucing it, like they did with XA, an email just a few days before it was all over. Maybe they have reached the goal they intended to reach, maybe they realize the result is not what they expected, were (t)asked to stop their giveaways, or maybe they'll receive the data they need (or don't need anymore since they are still in contract with OpenAI which does a better job than Microsoft).

some things can work, or evolve in the right way and suddenly be canceled for too many various reasons both good and stupids, but keep in mind we're in no way essential to them.

My daily game pass quest started not showing up again. I used to be able to contact someone at Microsoft and they would fix the issue. Now I can't even talk to a person or contact a human. I attempted to post on Microsoft Answers and it wouldn't even post my question. The software quality has been getting worse and now we don't even get support. I have spent a lot of money and it's impossible to have my problem looked at?

I got hit by the 15 minute cooldown yesterday, and I wanted to know how to get rid of it. I heard you need to stop searching for a week for it to get back to normal.

So we are 2 friends, both from Italy, one can farm extra +30 points reading some news, but it's been more than a year now and this never popped up for me and as said we're both from the same country, any idea why and how to make it pop up for me as well? Hello! I recently noticed my daily points streak disappeared in my Microsoft Start app. US location here. Anyone else experiencing the same issue?

Just wanted to share that I finally got the Feeling the Symptoms punch card to work today, in the UK. I searched 'covid symptoms' and got my 13 points. Happy days!! 🥳

Just a quick heads up I have had the £5 Xbox on auto Redeem for long time. Logged in today to notification error with auto Redeem just checked, gone from 5470 points to 5935 points, that's 8% rise in point total.

These two punchcards keep coming back each week but won't ever trigger. I TRIED EVERYTHING in french or in english. I'm from Quebec, Canada. If someone got a heads up please let me know!

I just recently purchased a new phone and it won’t allow me to conduct mobile searches for points. I am signed in and I have sent a request into customer support (I pressed contact customer support). This was about 5 days ago and I haven’t heard anything from rewards support. I still have my old device since it wasn’t worth the trade in value and I can search on my old phone. Very inconvenient especially if I am not home and want to do the check in for the puzzle piece.

Has anyone else had this issue before?

So I was in the middle of a 100 day streak when I had a travel on Oct 4th. I returned Oct 10th, and had the oops looks like you're on the go while I was on vacation and even after I returned. It lasted up until today. So about 20 days after I returned before it reset and removed the on the go message.

So my question is, when you guys travel, do you just not use bing to prevent this from happening? Im okay not earning points when I travel, but I dont want to have to wait 20 days after I return before I can check in on the bing app or access my dashboard to earn points that way.

So tonight I made a purchase on the Microsoft store through my Series X. I have not received any points and then I noticed my streak protection randomly used up 1 day. I've been having problems for months. I get no points for movie purchases and it's a 50/50 for game purchases. I'm an ultimate subscriber Level 2. I spend a lot of money on the Microsoft store but maybe I should stop. I never have these problems on the PSN store/rewards. 🤷
