The valley is an ancient one, as is he who rules it. Spirited away from your own life, this is a fact you must remember. Always.

System: 5e, 2014 ruleset (will be allowing 2024 content, but as of current I do not have the ability to bring 2024 rules over to Foundry as easily as the old ruleset. This should be updated in the next month or so if people choose to upgrade to the new ruleset)
In the misty, hidden valley of Barovia, hope is very fragile indeed, but not yet gone entirely. As the newest unwilling adventurers pulled into the mist's depth, it's up to you to decide if the scales will tip that hope towards a flame, or to leave it to extinguish entirely and secure your own safety and passage back home. Curse of Strahd is a classic D&D module that has had many community reworks with additional content, adjustments, and efforts to create a more cohesive structure for the sandbox and strengthen Strahd’s and other character’s motives across the story.
Always a fan of tragedy, gothic horror, and strong character focused narratives I’ve attempted my own, mixed in with prior mentioned community projects, with a particular focus on fleshing out the thematic ties between the different areas of Barovia, while still keeping a more open style instead of the popular option of turning to a more linear narrative.
The path taken out of Barovia is fully your own, as well as what friends, enemies, and choices get you there. It is up to you and your group to decide what to engage with, and to face the consequences for what you ignore. This game prioritizes an active, much more than a reactive, playstyle.
Themes explored include dealing with cycles of trauma and harm, how people change and grow along with circumstances that surround them, loss of loved ones and self identity, grief, and corruption. I have worked to also make the narrative more inclusive of various identities, more sensitive to important subject matters within the plot, and to leave room to explore parallels between party member’s histories and stories and the way it intersects with the residents and overall history of Barovia. I have also worked to weave in more lore from past editions, as well as my own additions, to flesh out the landscape more.
We will be starting at level three. I estimate the campaign itself will go at least until level twelve.

I come from a writing and amateur acting background, so my big love as a DM is making a realistic, breathing, and growing world for players to impact and explore. From Lt. Williams' personal log, three months after the Fall We had discovered something, orbiting our system's shepherd giant. An anomaly that had bothered our sciences and our imaginations for generations, occasionally flashing with noontide brightness in the night. The Guidestar, our ancestors had called it, tracked time with it, made worship of it. When our telescopes gave way to radio which gave way again to telescopes, we saw what it was. A sphere of glittering metal, with its own aurora-esque halo of energy, half a kilometer across. We had no idea what would happen when one of our own would set foot upon it. But we found out, anyway. When the Ascendancy arrived. Now, our only hope is to escape to the stars.
From Charlie, Technician 3rd class, waiting to board the Horus Blind My head constantly has a low-grade ache, and I am able to see these... well, streams, or perhaps filaments, swirling through the air, gathering around people, connecting them... If I think at them just right, they fold and refold, resonate, change color... Etherics. Psionics. Mental Magic. Doesn't matter. What was once a word for 'where gods walk,' is now synonymous with '30 meter tall war machine,' and I don't yet understand... Don't understand how it came to this so suddenly.
In the wake of humanity’s first contact with the mysterious Guidestar artifact, you take up the role of a cadre of Pilots, able to sense the ether, and thus synch with the powerful war machines known as Ether-Techs. Tens of meters tall each, the ET-Units represent the last line in the exodus from your world, fleeing the pale golden alien vessels that have been dubbed, “The Ascendancy.” Your pilots, as the mission to flee the enemy and find a new home unfolds across space, will discover that these machines are more than mere weapons.
Mecha. Giant Robots. The Ether-Tech. Come join Fleet Command, and take on the role of a Pilot, who must master and navigate a war machine tens of meters tall against the strange and overwhelmingly powerful Ascendancy, a civilization that seems to predate and hunt any species that gains access to the stars away from their home system. Using the Cypher System by Monte Cook Games, and with a heavy modification on my part to develop and introduce these highly specialized war machines into its flexible system, you are able to design, outfit, and tinker with a mech of your own, as well as your Pilot, and then sortie against the Ascendancy as what remains of Humanity limps to the stars in an effort to escape, and make a new home.
Character creation in the Cypher System is done via a sentence. For example, Elyria is a [Descriptor] [Type], who [Focus] with a [Psionic Awakening], and your Mech’s sentence is a [Chassis] [Type] with a [Drive]. This sentence structure gives rise to the feature suites you’ll use to build your character, including roleplay connections to each other and the setting at hand.
The system is exceedingly toolboxy, with a myriad of options and choices to make every step of the way as we play. However, I will be conducting guided character creation for all new players to the system, so no one feels behind the curve, and can assure that the system itself is a swift study (10 minutes or less!)
I am also excited to present an artist deal as well! Those players who sign on will be given opportunity to have their characters rendered in beautiful detail for a group rate to include an illustration of both your Pilot, and the Ether-Tech they command. I am excited to work to bring a unified design direction to the campaign, and look forward to seeing both your pilots and their mechs deployed on the battlefield!

Hello there, you can call me Stane. I'm starting up a new campaign, running Season of Ghosts, which I hope to start running in January, with a session 0 in December. In this adventure, you play as citizens of the town of Willowshore, in the haunted nation of Shenmen. It is the season of ghosts, where there are increased hauntings in and around the woods during the first few weeks of summer. I don't want to spoil the plot too much, but the PCs will be attempting to solve some fun mysteries around the town. You can view the player's guide for free here, and I recommend reading it if you want a better idea of what the AP offers to see if it interests you.
As for me, I have been playing PF2e for a few years now, and GMing for a little less than that. I have mostly run homebrew campaigns, and am also new to the whole paid GM thing. I am very comfortable with the PF2e rules, as well as generally running/playing on Foundry, and am happy to teach as needed. I tend to approach GMing from the mindset of a player, so I like to think whether I would find it fun, or if I would enjoy it. I focus on the aspects of TTRPGs I would enjoy as a player, and cut out the parts that I don't. As such, you can expect a focus on roleplaying and combat, as well as exploration. I also do enjoy mystery and intrigue, which this adventure path has. I dislike shopping and basebuilding, so I'm likely to streamline that wherever possible (not that it features heavily in this AP).
As a GM, I tend to stick to RAW (or RAI in rare cases where I think something is too weak or too good to be true). The way I see the rules, you don't necessarily need a feat to do something, but that feat represents doing it in the most efficient way possible, so I usually allow things that are extensions of baseline abilities without the feat, but with increased difficulty. I believe the main purpose of TTRPGs is to tell a story together and have fun, so I try my best to facilitate this. I try to have NPCs react as if they're real people, have enemies coordinate when it would make sense and flail mindlessly otherwise, I try to make the game-world feel and behave real. I also tend to be a bit light-hearted, and joke a lot, but I can assure you that I can bring drama and tension when it is called for. I'm also able to adjust the game to your liking, and strongly believe that communication is key to a successful game, and so I welcome any questions, concerns or thoughts you have.

According to legend, the only way to escape is by killing Strahd von Zarovich...but would it really be enough to break the curse? There's only one way to find out...
Curse of Strahd - Extended edition
This is a gothic horror adventure focused on roleplay, however, with lots of dangerous combats and encounters. Think of it as a 'less quantity more quality' equation, there are fewer fights than in the regular a-monster-on-every-corner dungeon but they are more meaningful and exciting.
Every GM likes to tweak their modules to better suit their tastes and the players', in my case I decided to create this extended edition inspired by the incredible expanded universe that the community of Curse of Strahd GMs (mostly on Reddit) created. That's why the adventure goes up to level 16th instead of the regular 10th.
However, I took care to NOT change the adventure to the point of becoming something else, my changes come more from the point of building upon than replacing things. After all, if someone agreed to play Curse of Strahd, they deserve to play Curse of Strahd right?!
+ Extra Content: House of Lament (1 extra level + magic items)
Adapted to higher-level characters and incorporated within the lore of the campaign, the players will experience (and hopefully overcome) the horrors of The House of Lament.
Using their strength, courage, and wits (including an interactive spiritual board to contact the spirits) the character will be able to solve the mysteries of the haunted mansion and free the tormented souls...or die trying and get trapped along with all the others before them.

Playstyle:
- Focus on RP without leaving the G behind, less in quantity but more significant and dangerous combats.
- Only house rules previously approved by the players.
- I Like to RP with voices and acting (sometimes even using voice modulators), but I don't require it from the players. I encourage everyone to RP the way they feel more comfortable.
- I try to enhance the players' experience with music, images, and visual effects.
Call of Cthulhu is a classic role-playing game of mystery and horror in which ordinary people are confronted by the terrifying and alien forces of the Cthulhu Mythos. We are playing Pulp Cthulhu 7th Edition.
My role as the game moderator is known as the Keeper of Arcane Lore (“Keeper” for short). Your role as players are the the Heroes of the story, which to confront villainous cults, alien horrors, and outlandish monsters.

Every GM likes to tweak their modules to better suit their tastes and the players', in my case I decided to create this extended edition inspired by the incredible expanded universe that the community of Curse of Strahd GMs (mostly on Reddit) created. That's why the adventure goes up to level 16th instead of the regular 10th.
However, I took care to NOT change the adventure to the point of becoming something else, my changes come more from the point of building upon than replacing things. After all, if someone agreed to play Curse of Strahd, they deserve to play Curse of Strahd right?!

Adapted to higher-level characters and incorporated within the lore of the campaign, the players will experience (and hopefully overcome) the horrors of The House of Lament.
Using their strength, courage, and wits (including an interactive spiritual board to contact the spirits) the character will be able to solve the mysteries of the haunted mansion and free the tormented souls...or die trying and get trapped along with all the others before them.

GM Bio:
Over the past 5 years, I have done a deep dive into Pathfinder. It was a bit of a late start to Tabletop RPGs, but once I started I found that I could not stop. I now find myself playing games 6 days a week, 10 games in all, with around 50 people in my network of players. I have had such a blast getting to know people and running games for them, and I have spent over 5000 hours playing to date.
My GM style is RAW when possible, but often the rule of fun does take precedence. Pathfinder is complicated, so I am always happy to discuss rules and rulings. You never have to worry about a vengeful GM, upset because you second-guessed a calling. I find that a table works best when everyone is working together to remember the rules. (Because there are ALOT of them!)
I like to GM with lots of enthusiasm, which includes lots of different character voices, visual aids, and lots of music to set the atmosphere. I love a good challenge for my players, but I never work against them. It is really important for me to help my players tell their stories. I love to see a player having a nice time at my table.

How does one define a monster? A prison? A curse? It is in the perspective, I suppose. But Barovia does not conform itself to the understanding or belief of what lies beyond the mists. The valley is an ancient one, as is he who rules it. Spirited away from your own life, this is a fact you must remember. Always.
They have seen your kind before, and surely will witness the fates of many more after your bones have sunk into the earth and your spirit joins the march. In the shadows, beings more ancient still spin their machinations, and powers long overthrown plot to seize back their reign of the valley. Accept or resist your fate as you will.
Did you seek your lot out, or did voices and visions reach out to you from lands beyond, whispering of their secrets and luring you to the darkness? What is it that pulled you here? Promises of power? Of love lost? Legacy? Truth? Revenge? Redemption? Or are you merely one in a line of many puppets whose strings secure the wishes of something greater still? System: 5e, 2014 ruleset (will be allowing 2024 content, but as of current I do not have the ability to bring 2024 rules over to Foundry as easily as the old ruleset. This should be updated in the next month or so if people choose to upgrade to the new ruleset)
In the misty, hidden valley of Barovia, hope is very fragile indeed, but not yet gone entirely. As the newest unwilling adventurers pulled into the mist's depth, it's up to you to decide if the scales will tip that hope towards a flame, or to leave it to extinguish entirely and secure your own safety and passage back home. Curse of Strahd is a classic D&D module that has had many community reworks with additional content, adjustments, and efforts to create a more cohesive structure for the sandbox and strengthen Strahd’s and other character’s motives across the story.
Always a fan of tragedy, gothic horror, and strong character focused narratives I’ve attempted my own, mixed in with prior mentioned community projects, with a particular focus on fleshing out the thematic ties between the different areas of Barovia, while still keeping a more open style instead of the popular option of turning to a more linear narrative.
The path taken out of Barovia is fully your own, as well as what friends, enemies, and choices get you there. It is up to you and your group to decide what to engage with, and to face the consequences for what you ignore. This game prioritizes an active, much more than a reactive, playstyle.
Themes explored include dealing with cycles of trauma and harm, how people change and grow along with circumstances that surround them, loss of loved ones and self identity, grief, and corruption. I have worked to also make the narrative more inclusive of various identities, more sensitive to important subject matters within the plot, and to leave room to explore parallels between party member’s histories and stories and the way it intersects with the residents and overall history of Barovia. I have also worked to weave in more lore from past editions, as well as my own additions, to flesh out the landscape more.
We will be starting at level three. I estimate the campaign itself will go at least until level twelve.
Hello, I'm Robin, or shadowkat678 on Discord. I'm a full-time Paid DM who's been running games professionally for about three years now. I come from a writing and amateur acting background, so my big love as a DM is making a realistic, breathing, and growing world for players to impact and explore. This campaign is run through Discord and Foundry, where I have spent numerous hours fine tuning the systems through modules and high quality props to enhance the experience. You will need a computer with a graphics card that can handle Foundry in order to join, though the requirements are not too high. I will be running this game as part of a greater community called Polyhedra, which is a group of DMs and players that are making a vetted space for paid games.
As the game itself is tied with the community, here are some resources you can use to learn more about Polyhedra itself. The game does require a short fifteen or so minute intro interview with the Polyhedra team to ensure the guidelines are adequately explained to all players before giving access to the Polyhedra server the game is listed on.

Re-imagined in MCG’s [Cypher System], your characters will enjoy the perks of collaborative storytelling without the shackles of the wargaming grid. Express mastery over the challenges of the Dale by modifying the difficulty directly, possibly removing the need to roll at all to determine success. Weather dynamic Intrusions, the story interrupting your characters as events unfold (and be rewarded XP for the trouble!), and propose your own to change how the story is told. Level up on the fly, choose skills, powers, and features as the game unfolds rather than being set on a predetermined path.
Character creation in the Cypher System is done via a sentence. I.e., Elyria is a [Species] [Descriptor] [Type], who [Focus], or Elyria is a [Species] [adjective] [noun] who [verbs]. This sentence structure gives rise to the feature suites you’ll use to build your character, including roleplay connections to each other and the setting at hand. The system is exceedingly toolboxy, with a myriad of options and choices to make every step of the way as we play. I will be conducting guided character creation for all new players to the system, so no one feels behind the curve, and can assure that the system itself is a swift study.
I am also excited to present an artist deal as well! Those players who sign on will be given the opportunity to have their characters rendered in beautiful detail. The cost also covers a movie-poster style illustration of the campaign! The group rate is two payments each of $38, first due up front as good faith, and the second due once your commission is finalized.

Campaign Description: There are tales of a far-off land beyond the sea and the horizon. It lies shrouded in mist - an impenetrable barrier that keeps its people contained, never free from its shadowed walls. The myths from the land are wide and varied, with no real consistency as so few that venture there manage to return. Some tales tell of a dark and ancient power ruling the land in an iron-like grasp, cursing all who enter and remain. Others speak of the viciousness of the land, infested with monstrous creatures who mangle and mutilate all who stray off the path through its wilderness. The most prominent tale, however, is that of an immortal ruler, a tyrant that flies like the wind across the sky, enacting laws of her own making and instilling fear into her subjects lest they forget themselves and to whom they belong. These stories come to mind as our adventurers find themselves in a worn-down rowboat, drifting through the dark, murky waters toward the shore of the land of Barovia. The ship you were on refused to venture further into the mists, regardless of the gold offered to her experienced captain. The letter you received was one of mystery.
