I literally just bought an SUV skin the day before the new chapter started. Lol.

I've only ever played the last two seasons so I didn't even realize that the whole map changed. That was a bit of a trip!

But now there's no SUVs in game? Do they come back or are they just going to be gone from now on? What a waste of money! I wonder if I can get the purchase refunded?

Is metallica bundle ever gonna come back again? like last time they was in shop was 70 or 80 days ago but they werent exclusive to that season right?

90 percent of the lobbies im in are almost all bots, anyone else experiencing this? Last season i had the sweatiest of sweaty people in my games, but now its like im playing against an infant.

Now that we're a few days in and my thoughts are that this season is really fun but there are a few issues I have but overall the season is so far really fun and nostalgia.

So before this nice chapter 2 remix season started we had a not so good live event. There were a number of things that went wrong and it left a bad taste for future events for a few people. And i want to share my thoughts and if anyone in epic see's this i want them to take this as part of there learning.

• Miscommunication: Before the event we had information via fortnite and teasers that the event was gonna be about "marshmello". But it was a surprise to see snoop dog instead, which was okay but it left a few people confused on why was "marshmello" even brought up in the fist place.
• No build up: So this event had little to no build up other than a timer. And no lore connections to the new season.
• Lore/story telling: The event was basically a concert that would normally be on the same levels of party royal. Other than snoop dog saying fortnite remix, there was no clue on how or why we needed or why we are now in a version of chapter 2.

Positives: The music was good and the special effect on the map was interesting. Also the fact we saw the event happening live in new York was amazing. This event was a good way to play the trailer for this remix chapter.

So My opinion on this event was 50/50 since i liked it but it had little oomph compared to other events. (like I rather watch the ice king event than this one) But I liked the music and it was awesome seeing snoop live.

What the event could of been: So i believe that the event could of been similar but we could of gotten a more lore reason why the event happened. So imagine ether "marshmello" or "snoop" playing a mini a event and a large rift opens, Dr. doom comes out and he is very different and almost in a berserk state. Doom starts blasting large amount of power at random poi's and he slowly makes his way to the concert. Snoop or marshmello (hope and jones in the background) would be upset of the return of doom and performs a powerful beat that the loopers channel/interact with. Then they rewind the track "lets go back to a better time" And we get teleport-ed to a rift in time that leads us back the chapter 2 but because of the multi-able realities we end up on another reals timeline like fortnite OG. (doom world try to follow us but he get sucked back to another or chapter 5's island.)

This is just my thoughts and opinions of the matter of the event and how i feel about it. I hope the next chapter story get stronger. Anyways if you like my ideas/thoughts then help this post get to the eyes to the amazing epic team. But share you're thoughts on the event.

I have an issue on fortnite where if i use crosshair x my mouse sensor seems to freeze up, only on fortnite, is there a fix for this?

Isn’t the Fortnite reload map supposed to be rotating every 30mins?

I was playing all of today with a friend and he started at 14 and ended at 30 and I started at 29 and ended at 36 even tho I am getting more kills and assists than him. What do I do? The only difference is that I am on switch and he is on Xbox

What do you all think about Account Merging? Should it be added back? Personally I think yes because I have another account with loads of cool skins that I can’t use.

The small map makes the game so fast paced. Really happy they added a solo version of reload, I actually like it more then the regular br.

Anyone else having issues? Since the update, my application is crashing at the loading screen at the point where I can "Press A to Start". As soon as I hit A, the app freezes then crashes.

I've just spoken with Epic Support and they weren't really helpful - giving me a list of things to do that I'd already done (unplug console, uninstalled/reinstalled the game, verified console was up to date, etc).

Not having issues on PS5 but I prefer Xbox since I have an Elite controller. Not sure what else I can do at this point.

Never noticed that before but it's like that this season

I've noticed some skins like Black panther have a lower quality texture in-game than in lobby. I'm using max settings.

I was in the starting island and yeah, Coral Castle assets just randomly appeared out of the ground for no reason. We're getting coral castle back during one of these weeks of updates, confirmed basically.

To keep it as short as possible: I play the game on and off since chap2, meaning I got those basic mechanics mastered. I never wanted to straight forward get good at the game (never played specific maps to train specific aspects) until now. For the recent week I improved my nineties and edits in specific maps. Now I want to move on to real fights, but I find myself absolutely lost.

From my own knowledge and from the tutorials I saw I know that a casual fight (important to note I of course don't talk about competitive level fights in this post) on open field begins with a ''highground battle'' ninetieing up and ramprushing. With what I learned over the years and especially the recent 1 week bootcamp I win the highground most of the time in unranked/low ranked lobbys.

And at that point, no matter if I won or lost the highground fight, I have no idea what to do. Like I said I've watched many tutorials about fighting in general, but they all don't answer that. From what I understood, from this ''one has the highground'' situation after the building up, the build fight is now supposed to turn into a boxfight, with the lowground player boxing and the highground player attacking the box/es. The problem is that that doesn't happen for me. The fight goes on forever (Because I don't know how to force a tight boxfight when I got the highground), always fighting for highground until we either get third partied or I loose high and get clapped. (Of course there are opponents that accept their fate and go into boxfighting when I got highground, but that's very rare.)

Now to my question: How do I learn how to force a boxfight? For lowground it's obvious... I have to build the boxes. But when I got the highground, I don't know what to do to use my advantage and turn things into a boxfight. I hoped to find a simple video that tells a few ways to do this, but I can't seem to find one.

If you got any videos at hand or other things, I would HIGHLY appreciate that.

I think it’s fitting that going back to chapter 2 was not named OG. Also I know it’s called remix but the theme is similar being Snoop D O double G.

I haven’t been playing Fortnite for a couple of months we had to get a new Xbox so I caught the end of the season just enough to get level 100 before the new season, is this supposed to be a shortened season? Or is the battle pass only half released on purpose?

Anyone else experiencing awful performance on the Switch since the update? I've tried restarts, changing to low power mode, memory and disk is fine. The game is nearly unplayable as soon as I get into any fight situation. Visual glitching. The other player jumps from one spot to next like they are teleporting. Even while watching my team mate while waiting to reboot it is glitchy and jumpy.

I thought it would get better as the days went on. It seems to be only getting worse.

My son plays on the same network (PC) and he runs great. Low ping etc. We don't even play at the same time - not that it was ever an issue before.

Anyone else having this issue? Any advice or tips. The game is almost unplayable unless I keep away from other players.

Historically been playing for about a year on my Switch (lite) and it had never been this bad. I mostly play Reboot squads.
