I’ve seen my share of bugs in this game mode but thus takes the cake. i started a round, no audio, okay has happened before ill just go to lobby after this to reset it. I just won the round, went to lobby and had sound. okay, good, join another match. it says 12/12 but im the only one there at the start. then I see people go past. it literally put me in a match that had already been going, wtf! well guess there goes the 3% I just won.
I just saw behemoth car body in shop! Any chance we will see fuse car cause I missed it? Or any other option to buy it from other sites?
Everybody has their own opinion of stuff like this and if Psyonix can't take it out for one reason or another, they should show everybody, even casual players, how to do them.
Here's the issue with very skillful exploits like this: they require a whole bunch of skill, sure, but the game in no way shape or form tries to nudge you into this direction. Unless a person goes out of thier way to look up a video and train relentlessly, you're going to end up with casual players who are frustrated simply because they don't know the tech exists. [Edit: People are misunderstanding this last statement, competition and training your skills should always be encouraged, I'm speaking about how to guide eager new players into the right direction so they arent left in the dust by people who have knowledge the game doesnt tell them.]
The compromise would be to essentially acknowledge it. If these things dont go away, Psyonix needs to have a certain mindset. "Realize that this is a technique, be aware of its existence in-game, and show players how to do it."
This would allow players willing to improve thier times to go down that path in a much more organic way, even players who choose not to use it will benefit because they are now atleast given a choice.
This would also help with Ranking players properly. If these hidden exploits suddenly became things they show you how to do, Unreal would be full of competitive players who have more foundation, instead of the 6 players you normally get who may not even be in Unreal.
It gets really tiring seeing people using exploits so often. It's starting to seem now like I see somebody doing it every 1 out 2/3 races now. I think we could solve it with a patch or better communication, but it's unbelievably aggravating to see somebody doing something you are pretty clearly not intended to be able to do. I shouldn't need to go to youtube to find out how to do something that should either be available from the start, or outright barred.
I keep running into people using the Venom, Lady Venom, or Agony skins; I've even seen Carnage. It's annoying that while it is 'against the rules' there doesn't seem to be any sort of real difficulty to it, even if I don't personally know how to do it.
More of a joke than anything else- it is annoying though.
Does anyone know when rocket racing rank reset? I'm trying to get elite
The only game that explicitly says ‘Only top 4 will gain points’ and then you come 4th and you lose a percent….
Literally the only game on the planet that punishes you for what they say will reward you? 😂
I saved it tho! Somehow… ._.
A mini battle pass with meaningful unlocks and progressions. From day one they've just been giving us tires, boosts and drift trails. How do they expect anyone to get excited about grinding for those?
Why did they never once give us a new unlockable vehicle body?
for some reason the synthwave boost no longer sounds like it used to, it sounds like crunchy diarrhea
does anyone else ever receive random items they never unlocked on rocket league? i've gotten stella wheels, lightspeed trail, and plasma boost now
Originally discovered this by accident on my way to Unreal and i've been using it ever since. Correct me if i'm wrong, but I feel like it's slightly faster than just airdrifting and boosting past the turn. It's harder to do on PC (which is what this clip is from besides my switch), but it allows me to fly past folks and keep that speed into the oncoming turn. And if you got a big enough lead, you don't need to boost on the final straight away, so you can use it for the next turn. Nevertheless, I thought i'd share it with you so that folks, regardless of skill level/rank, could impliment it into your movement.
It looks so good on the werewolf, it should just come over for a car or two from rocket league.
I played it when it came out for a couple of weeks, but haven't touched it since the beginning of the year.
Has the game changed a lot since the last 9 months? Are the ranks the same? Has there been new content since? Is it still fun basically?
The biggest problem I remember was not being able to "freeplay" while waiting in the lobby for matchmaking, has this been fixed?
Can this car be in rocket racing
There's so many tracks I haven't played in months. Really fun I'm getting loads of rookie tracks most of which are fun to play.
I prefer gaming with other people, but as you know, no one plays our game (womp) so I’m looking for some racin buddies I’ve made it to champion every season, currently at elite, but happy to play with any skill level. Epic ID: RenaissancePan

I have seen issues with ranked, especially in the higher brackets. There was a post recently that shown Champion rank getting 3% for a win, and then someone commented if the race is less than 6 racers you only get 2%. Someone else chimed in about losing 4% if you place last.
I get grinding. But when a loss can lose you more points than a win, it encourages drop-off. Why queue with the same group of racers that I will definitely lose against, when I can quit out with the same penalty, and queue with a group that I may be able to beat?
The discussion would be, how could this be fixed? Not trying to solve anything, but just a general discourse on what other options exist. How are other games doing it? What do you think could be a solid solution?
Just hit unreal for the 4th time AMA
