Anybody got any requests for future videos? Our originals? New songs, old songs? Covers you’d like to see us do? Thanks for watching!!
I'm going through it y'all
Woke up having a ptsd episode at 3am after a terrible nightmare where the men who trafficked me found me again.
My brain is currently being held together by Scotch tape, drugs, and folk punk songs so I was wondering if anyone had a track that might be particularly helpful.
Sincerely,
- A Complete Fucking Mess
My buddy used his nice camera to record this.
Just that, are there any instrumental folk punk bands/artists?
hey folk punk enjoyers! i really want to get more into folk punk and listen to more folk punk artists and was looking for recommendations for artists/albums/songs!
i’ve been listening to kimya dawson since i was about 11/12 (she’s really changed my life) and i also listen to pigeon pit, ajj and the mountain goats (i know they’re more folk rock than they are punk but i like listening to songs from the sunset tree and some of their other stuff mixed in with my folk punk songs!)
any recommendations would be great thanks!! :))
Y'all Take Care Of Each Other Over The Holidaze!!! @~@
I saw Ape’s of the State last week and Mollie (the one who seems to play every instrument) had this horn I’d never seen. It was roughly 1/2 or 1/3 of the size of a bullhorn for speaking. The sound I would describe as “a kazoo and a melodica on an amplifier”. Or, sort of like those Otamaphone synths that were popular a few years back.
Anyone recognize it?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HKp5A9j06fo Has a folk punk band done a cover of any of the songs on this special? Doing each song would clock just about under 30 minutes
So the song is by She/Her/Hers and it was on YouTube like a bunch of years ago, it was called "Me a 30 rack and you" (I'm pretty sure something like that, and there was a recording of it by punk with a camera (I think). Where is it?? 😭😭

I got into folk punk about 5 years ago but I want to get more involved in the scene here in phoenix, arizona. Any Arizonians here know how I can find shows? Or how often bands come through here?
I know AJJ is from here, I've gone to almost all their shows in the past few years. I also saw Apes of the state in September. Beyond that though, I don't really know how to find the more obscure bands that don't get the same level of attention. I'd appreciate any help.
Thanks yall
I seem to remember a folk punk song that had Homer Simpson's bee speech as an intro.
"Never! Never, Marge. I can't live the button-down life like you. I want it all: the terrifying lows, the dizzying highs, the creamy middles. Sure, I might offend a few of the bluenoses with my cocky stride and musky odors -- oh, I'll never be the darling of the so-called ‘City Fathers’ who cluck their tongues, stroke their beards, and talk about 'What's to be done with this Homer Simpson?'"
But I may have fallen asleep listening to Sledding With Tigers.
A little song I wrote about alcoholism and war, it’s had lots of different titles but I can’t decide on one
