I’ve listened to back on top, The Front Bottoms, and Talon of the hawk. i also liked some other albums like sports by modern baseball, Floral Green by title fight, puppy love and best buds by mom jeans. I prefer albums around 30 minutes long but if it’s longer i don’t care. Any suggestions

I discovered TFB when I was around 13 and I got really burnt out on this song super quickly because I listened to it over and over and then around a year or two later I went back and listened to it again and I just remember being kinda weirded out that it sounded different and I remember the pure shock I had when I found nothing about it online. I know I’m probably just imagining it but it still weirds me out to this day

Is it because it has a different vibe than the rest of their songs? Cause that's not really a bad thing, I think it's really catchy actually

hai so i kind of fell out of the front bottoms loophole when i got hyperfixated on some other things and stopped following along for a little; why has it just been Brian on stage? where's Mat?

they broke a cymbal in half. this was before they were signed to a label. a friend of a friend was a booking agent, finding bands to play for the local "Rock the Vote" concert. it was sick. I wish I could remember the full set list. I miss I Hate My Friends. that album got me through high school. I would die for the chance to ask them what they remember from this show. also, I don't want to doxx myself, but this was in CT.

the only other time I've seen them live was when they opened for Brand New in 2016 (anyone else have the hotdog shirt?) I don't really have a desire to see them again, the times I did were so special and intimate. TFB FOR LIFE. thanks for letting me share.

An unimportant detail that has nothing to do with anything but is the only thing you remember (yes that’s hooped earrings).

For me it’s that one part in Peach (1:00-1:10, specifically at 1:02) where the mic switches so seamlessly. Mid sentence, a millisecond before the beat drops. His voice goes from muffled and quiet to perfectly clear. I don’t know it gets me every time.
