this was the first live show i’ve been able to attend since almost dying and spending nearly 200 days in the hospital. it was fantastic. these losers mean the fucking world to me and i’m so glad i’m still alive to hear them play music.

I’m attending the champagne jam (east coast) and I have no clue what to wear. What have the outfits looked like at the other concerts? I’m concerned it will be hot in the venue

i know this isn’t particularly tfb related but i remember hearing about him doing something and around 7/8 years ago brian getting really angry when he showed up to their shows, there’s a theory that tighten up is a song dissing him. do we know wtf happened?

Maybe we all feel this way about a band we like. The first music of theirs that I heard, I thought the vocals sounded kinda how I would sing and I felt like I could sing these songs without needing to change my voice to something it wasn't. The subject matter really matched how I was feeling as an angsty 22 year old.

I saw them live for the first time in 2021 at a show where you had to wear a mask. They even did an aftershow at a small venue. As I aged, so did the band. The venues got bigger and I knew that aftershow was the last time I would ever see them in a place that small. The music changed a little and so did the subject matter, but every new album I felt like it was relevant to me at the time. As they got bigger when I would ask people if they knew the band, they started to actually say "yeah I know them." That used to never happen. I'm so stoked on their success

Some of their antics has always meant alot to me, because they seemed like a teenaged "why not". When they threw actual hot dogs into the crowd in Boston 👌. Twitch live streams 🔥

I've yelled at Brian a few times on stage. "Read the book!" "Batman" "We love you!" He always responds like an absolute champ, funny, genuine, and honestly just kind.

When I was trying to sober up a bit and having some trouble doing so, Brian said on stage he was trying to sober up that summer too but he hadn't quite done it yet either, and I felt less alone in that struggle.

I don't mean for it to sound sappy, or make my super fandom too weird but I became an adult listening to them. They got me through my quarter life crisis (and maybe caused it). They gave me something to be excited about, and songs that I could sing. They made me laugh and cry and feel less alone. I'm thankful for this band.
