Our users are here for our help, not sarcastic responses that they should do it themselves.
If you have nothing else to say other than to check a search engine, please refrain from commenting and leave the thread to others to assist with.
Those that suggest sarcastic, off-topic, trolling or purely incorrect subreddits to those that are genuinely seeking help, or those that make joking / trolling posts may be temporarily banned without warning.
This especially includes posts such as "a reddit to find reddits". You have been warned.
An example of a joke suggestion would be a response suggesting /r/atheism to a user requesting Christian subreddits.
r/FindAReddit's directory indexes 1,000+ up-to-date subreddits, categorized into 50+ different categories. Large categories have their own separate subdirectories which are linked in the main directory. Our very own u/FindBot keeps each subreddit's subscriber count, activity, activity rank, and descriptions up-to-date daily.
Moderate a subreddit with 1,000+ subscribers and want it added to the directory?
Message the mods and the name of the subreddit and its current subscriber count for us to consider.
When someone's found a subreddit that fits your criteria, you may either thank them in reply which will automatically flair your post, or you may flair your post manually.
When making a new post, click on the Choose a Flair option and select the "Unanswered" flair. If you want to change the flair manually after you already made a post, click on the flair option under it and select the proper flair from the list.
Feel free to contact the mods for questions about submissions, concerns, or anything else not answered here in the sidebar.
Start with /r/NewToReddit and their helpful guides for new users. You can always ask for help and advice there.
Another good place is /r/LearnToReddit where you can test out features related to posting and commenting before using them on other subreddits.
For the new-users-friendly subreddits which don't have the minimal karma requirement, please see this list.

I'm looking for a site and/or subreddit that hosts just scary videos in general, no commentary, no editing, etc. Basically think of how shock sites used to work, bunch of videos layed out, no dude talking over them. Basically just want that but with horror/scary stuff. Things like ufos, ghosts, monsters, that kinda thing lol
i had a strange experience happen to me at the door of a club tonight with a bouncer, and i'm looking for a sub reddit that is hopefully full of people who go to clubs regularly, know what's "normal" and can impart some insight on maybe how my situation happened
Clearly i only go to a club once a year if that, hence why I'm looking for people with more "wisdom" in this department
I messed up and spilled some paint stripper on my bedroom floor, and now the finish has bubbled up. Can you recommend a reddit that can give advice on how to fix it?
i have a problem making me crazy rn
Deadlifts have always caused me back pain to varying degrees over the years. I recently had someone check my form, we made some adjustments to it, and it hurt my back worse. I spoke with multiple personal trainers and physical therapists and they all said "your form is now fine" and all have no idea why deadlifting hurts my back more now. Note: not the day after; I mean during the lift. The different subreddits I have looked at all seem to have rules prohibiting such questions and instead advise I talk with medical professionals and personal trainers ... who don't have an answer. :-(
Help, please.
Are there any good subreddits for posting things that just pop through ur head randomly? Like either questions or just ideas and stuff?
Thanks in advance
I want to find a reddit where people want to help out in group efforts with projects? Or even individuals who like lending a hand.

I'm just looking for a generalized subreddit for questions about things like laundry advice, home repair, lawn equipment repair, tool repair, garden advice.
/r/diy seems more "construction-centric". I don't really care about projects, just looking for a generalized help, advice, and discussion subreddit.
My lawn mover is broken and I wanted to ask some questions
I can't post in /Paranormal because I need more karma. I want to post and comment on fun interesting things I like, not pets and flowers and stuff. Anyone know a spot?
