I lost this fanfic -- after Cas dies, dean is mourning and coming to terms with his feelings... A couple scenes i remember: -Dean and Jody are in a field and Dean is yelling at the sky (at cas) "how am I supposed to do this without you?" And he breaks down to Jody when she's like, "I have no idea what's going on or how to help you" -Dean starts wearing a wedding ring to deter people from hitting on him -Sam tries to set Dean up with a woman and they have a heart to heart where Dean tells Sam that he's "spoken for"

I can't be positive, but it may have ended with Dean dying and when he gets to heaven, cas gives him his knife and deans like, "wait, if you're giving me this, that means you're really here" -- that may be a whole other fic but the three scenes above are for sure the same thing lol

I'm afraid this fic may have been deleted because I could've SWORN i had bookmarked it. I went back to that fic so many times and then one day I just couldn't find it

Hi! As a rule, I don't do crossover fics, I like to stay in one world, especially if I know that one well and am not necessarily as clued in on the crossover pairing.

But, I've read a couple Criminal Mind / Supernatural fics and I bloody love them, they were both super short, literally just an interview scene each, but I'd like to read more! I'm not fussed on crossover pairings, I mean I'd be happy with a destiel where they meet the bau team, whether as suspects or they work together on a case, or start as suspects and end up working together. (I'm not just interested in destiel, I'll read most any ship tbh)

I feel like every au fic I read that needs a generally antagonistic character, Cole Trenton is the go-to guy and I don't get it! He's literally in 2 episodes! Sure, the dude had a rough intro on the show, but he got better and gave up his revenge quest to go home to his family! And then when he comes back later, he's a great character in that episode. I just don't get the hostility toward him in all the fics

I’m looking for a fic I read maybe 4 years ago now, I think it was called something like la hanste but I’m not totally sure. The plot was Dean was a drifter and Cas has inherited his family’s large house that was up on a cliff in a small town when his mother passed away. One of those he did something awful and vowed never to return but that thing that turns out to be not what you expect. I think it was maybe that he “killed his brother” and his whole family hates him? So Dean agrees to help him fix up the house for a share of profits. I think it ends up being haunted by the mother and it was a lot better and deeper of a plot than I am explaining but it was my fave and I wanted to reread it but can’t find it. Any help would be great!

The main pairing was Dean and Castiel. I believe it was multiple stories but I may be wrong. They were also all human. Dean I believe was younger than Cas as well. Cas was working at his job and he was going for a higher promotion. Because of this, he had to travel alot and in order to be considered for the promotion, he has to travel to this another state. Dean is lonely. Cas ends up flying back early to surprise him, at first lying and saying that he rearranged his schedule so he could see him. However, he later reveals that he gave up the promotion and only went for the promotion because he needed more money to buy the house Dean always wanted. Dean then asks if Cas thought he was a gold digger.

I'm watching SPN for the first time with my friend and I wasn't really into samcifer before but we just made it to 7x15 and I thought the dynamic between Sam and Hallucifer was so interesting but I haven't really been able to find a fic that really captures the magic for me. Here's some things I'm looking for:

-I don't really like uber dark Lucifer or dubcon (you see why finding fics has been hard lol)

-I have a preference for smartly written fics with a sense of humor

-Doesnt have to involve Hallucifer but 7x15 was the last episode I've seen so I'd prefer fics that don't have spoilers for anything after that

It can be wincest or gen, I want to read fanfics about Sam jealous of Benny and Dean’s relationship, and also can’t stand that his brother’s friend is a vampire, Benny in this fic can be a good person or a bad person( I remember read a fic about Benny is a bad person and he hurts Sam, Dean trusted Benny but finally he found out what happened)

I can’t for the life of me find tags that match what I mean, but I don’t mean Dean reject Cas, Cas dates someone, Dean gets jealous, they get together and yatta yatta. I mean like more so, Cas gets rejected or just leave Dean and Sam and just learns to be human, it doesn’t have to be romantic centric. I just want to read a fic about Cas essentially learning how to live past them because he legit lives for them in the series.

Odd request, but I'm looking for fics where Dean's prettiness is a notable theme: whether it gets him into dangerous situations, he's not taken seriously, he's not seen "as a man", John Winchester has Opinions about it, or he has self image issues.

Don't mind the pairings or if it's gen. Not fussed about Dean's age either but it would be interesting if it was a teen fic. Also don't mind if it comes with other themes or warnings.

I don’t remember what platform it was on, but it was likely Ao3 or LiveJournal. From what I remember, there wasn’t any ships. Maybe a Sam & Dean tag, but there wasn’t any actual wincest.

The fic was essentially that Sam and Dean were reincarnated (or time was reset? Dimensions were hopped?) back to when they were children.

Sam was the older brother and remembers their previous life as hunters, meanwhile Dean was the younger brother and was supposed to forget, but he gets nightmares about Hell.

I remember Sam feeling guilty about Dean remembering anything because it was supposed to be Sam’s burden, and it’s implied Sam somehow had a hand in making this (the time reset / reincarnation / alternate universe) happen.

I think Castiel might have been mentioned once or twice, but he wasn’t an active participant in the story.

It was a very short, 1-chapter type of fic without a lot of tags.
