Hey guys I am looking for a destiel fic that feels authentic to the characters. I feel like every fic i've read always has so much uncharacteristic fluff and diaglogue i can never imagine dean or cas actually saying. Especially the pet names. It's a very nice idea, but I want something close to the reality of who the characters are. I imagine dean coming to terms with his feelings about cas to be much slower, angry, shameful and even violent. I imagine a lot of fighting, resentment and pain. Obviously yes even in the show the characters do talk about their feelings but in most fics i read it becomes very uncharacteristic. Smut preffered, the dirtier the better. No AU, i prefer as close to canon as possible.

In the fic Dean is the eventual inheritor of a farm in England owned and run by Bobby, cas is brought in as sheep herder and this is the quote the story ends with and it’s haunting me because I can’t find it on Ao3

Anything destiel related I've read one where they met again in heaven, Dean lives with Cas and they own a bar, and one where Dean doesn't die and brings Castiel back from the empty, so really anything about them both living a happy ending. It was a fake dating deancas fic, but the twist was that it was actually sam and cas who were fake dating for a job, and dean gets insane with jealousy. I think it was in a resort, or something like that? There were other couples around, and people were gossiping a lot about how dean was in love with his brother's fiancee.

Sam and Cas are friends and I think he mentions to Cas that he needs more pictures. Cas posts it without realizing a dildo is stuck to his shower. Uploads it to Facebook, wakes up to a comment from Dean, don't think he's met Dean yet but knows he's Sam's brother. Dean wants him to take it down before work sees it. I ready it a while ago, so I think it's a year old. It's a longer fic. E or M rated. I can't find it, but I really want to read it again. It's an au, I think modern setting. Trying to find an old fic where Cas is an alpha prince and Dean is an omega. The borders to heaven open to let human omegas through and it turns out there's a prophecy about Cas's mate birthing the first angel omega in a long time due to a curse and this lets all of them have omega children again. CAS knows Dean is the omega because he smells like a flower from his bedroom? Other specifics I remember are that Meg is a small fairy, Gabriel tutors Sam and Cas got kidnapped by Leviathans at one point. Pretty sure it was NSFW.

Hi!! I'm trying to find a fic and I've tried as many google searches as possible, but nothing seems to work.

It's half a college AU and half after college. The college plot is Cas and Dean getting together, their relationship, and Cas' (?) stalker. The other part is where deancas are exes, and Garth plans their annual meetup trip at some creepy murder cabin in the woods. Shit starts happening. Deancas are mega codependent, killed someone together in the past. Or something like this? Please help!!!!!

I’ve been wanting to write fan fiction for a while now, but I only read Destiel, so why not start there? Wrote this and I’d like another opinion. Should I keep going? Should I change it?

Castiel sat on the edge of his bed, the plastic orange cup in hand, and a water bottle in the other. He’d been sitting like this for hours, just patiently waiting for himself to obtain the easy confidence he had when first grabbing them. He couldn’t do it. He angrily threw the bottle across the room, the semi-heavy metal making a hole in the brittle drywall.

He sunk back onto his bed, ready to scream in anger and frustration. He looked back at the broken wall, sighing. Fuck this. Fuck his life and fuck his job and fuck everything!

He breathed heavy, burying his face in his dusty hands. He knew it wouldn't solve anything, but it allowed him to release his anger and resentment, if only temporarily.

He took deep breaths, steadying his racing heart. Slowly, his anger subsided and he began to think rationally. He knew that shouting and breaking things wouldn't solve anything.

He stood up, looking at the clock on his bedside table. “10:30AM”. He rubbed his eyes, causing them to sting with dust. He blinked a few times in a lazy attempt to clear them. He gazed around the room with blurry eyes, taking in the sights of the dirty room. The broken walls, the overflowing trash can and the piles of dirty laundry he hadn’t washed.

He pulled open the dresser to reveal the few shirts, vests and pants that hadn’t been washed in days. Didn’t matter, no one would notice, he took the clothes, shoved them on and walked out. He didn’t bother with breakfast, last time he opened the cupboard, it damn near fell on him. Well, if the cupboard were to do it for him, that wouldn’t be such a bad thing he supposed.

He slipped his shoes on and pushed open the shaky door, starting his walk to work. Late. Again.

When he arrived, he walked in, ignoring the voices of his coworkers and sat down at his desk. He didn’t look up, but he could feel their dirty looks and stern stares. They whispered among themselves, spreading rumours as to why he was late this time. He heard the mutterings of: “I bet he’s homeless” “He’s probably going to get fired soon” “What a mess” “He’s probably a junkie” “He’s kinda hot, but too messy for my taste, hmm?”

Castiel sighed, trying to drown them out. He hunched over his desk, trying to make his dishevelled appearance less apparent. Trying to make himself invisible, so maybe he wouldn’t be the centre of attention and conversation.

He jumped, startled as one of his coworkers slammed a pile of papers on his desk. “‘Sup bitch”, she grinned.

“Was that really necessary?” He growled

“Definitely. Anyway, we got a two guys comin’ in tomorrow, and you’re gonna greet him!”

“… You’re joking, right?”

“Nope. That’s your job Castiel!” She slapped his arm “Called being a part of the team, my friend!”

“I’m not your friend Megan.”

“It’s Meg, I’ve told you. Whatever, they’re called Mr. Winchester. Brothers. Sam and Dean.”

Castiel groaned. He hated having to greet people politly. He already saw the day in his head, he would be late, messy and rude, and probably end up offending them one way or another. Whatever. Who cares about these people? If they were looking for someone to give a shit, they’d have to look elsewhere.
