I know it's really cheap and i've heard great things, but I don't if it's for me. All I want is a lore friendly building space in a Vault. I want it to add some cool stuff but not too much. I need a big space and not some tiny little player home. Is Vault-tec workshop any of this?
I bought and downloaded my dlc(while the game was on) and noticed that i was missing some workshop items from my menu, namely the nuclear reactor, please help.
Edit: spelling
Vault 88, repurposed and reborn as a secure shopping destination. Specializing in variety and the widest selection of like-new goods in the Commonwealth, Vault 88 features a two story bar with hotel rooms, a cafeteria, a "sooper" market stocked with fresh hydroponic produce, a gym, a clinic with pharmacy, surgery facilities, and optometrist, a weapons shop, armory, toy emporium, hardware store, clothing store, and a home goods center as well as caravan stop for the Bunker Hill caravan traders.
The biggest challenge was building a vault that didn't look like a dark-ass cave.
A close 2nd was putting things on shelves and having them not jump off.
This is a VANILLA build on PS4; a few Far Harbor and Wasteland Workshop assets, but no Nuka-World assets.
We all know the limitations vanilla settlers have, especially in the Vault where everything is on different levels and settlers struggle to go to work or to bed. Do you have some suggestions regarding mods that improve vanilla settler behavior?
Finally finished building my vault, and thought I'd share it. Some of it's been seen before, but this is everything. Comments and questions welcome! :D

This is my personal favorite DLC, it's not everything I wanted, but I still love the idea of building my own vault. Let's see some more vault builds, see people's opinions and thoughts on the DLC, and talk about mods that can enhance the experience for those of us that can use them.

Has anyone else heard there dwellers gossiping about "The Thing" I thought it was random but they mention it alot, and each dweller has there own specific response or question about it. Some have started mysteriously dying too and just weird stuff is happening in my vault. Anyone else experiencing anything like this?
It doesn't feel like as much of a structured community, if everyone looks like a peasant, not a proper doctor or security guard. :P
Well I downloaded VTWS yesterday for PS4 yesterday but everytime I see the add-ons list it is grayed out says not installed and the quest and everything related to it is pretty nonexistent. So what do I have to do to play it?
I overheard some dwellers talking.
Guy: "Hey, did you hear what they were talking about last night?" Girl: "I know, I can't believe she did it. The nerve of some people!"
I think it's neat that Bethesda would include this. It's unavoidably generic, but it's what you have to do with AI. It's cool though! Adds life to the vault community. :P
EDIT: Another one! lol
Guy: "Okay, I don't like to spread rumors, but... have you heard about 'the thing'?" Girl: "Well I have, but I don't believe it."
XD ahh Bethesda.
ANOTHER EDIT:
This is incredible! They have the same exact classic "who would win in a fight" banter as Fallout Shelter! XD
So, when doing the Power Cycle 1000 experiment, if you choose the last and most ethical option, the terminal says that it fills the room with a lavender and orange aroma. But after the experiment is completed, and you talk to the Overseer, she says it was lavender and vanilla. Bethesda screwed up with their voice acting lol.
has anyone else encountered a bug where Barstown won't go to the entrance of the vault to greet the settlers in the "model citizen" quest?
I'm really curious to see what you guys do for the Overseer's room. It seems to have a lot of potential, and the walls look really nice. How did you lay out your Overseer's room?
I'm not sure if you can connect all the sectors together into one big interlocked vault, but how are you guys faring so far? I'm still pretty lost on how to connect all these parts together, where to build my quarters/cafeteria/clinic/nursery/etc, stuff like that. Right now I just have a big open atrium in the main big hub of the cave system and theres just so many possibilities its overwhelming.
So it seems the only floor available is atrium floor which is great but for the vault>rooms none of the pieces attach to them or even domestic hallways. What???
Does anyone know how to power up those lights inside Vault 88's lobb? It's kinda dark and feels like abandoned place because of lack of lights.
