We've all seen them, people who think it's a good idea to try a hero they don't play in ranked. I just had a Dawnbreaker who used W and left the hammer on the floor while trying to auto hit something again and again, know something is off and see that they actually don't play DB. This player spent the whole game trying to learn the hero and failed miserably. Then they get surprised when the whole team reports them. This is in Immortal BTW.
The solution is easy. Leveling heroes to 5 is free. Value should simply prevent people from picking heroes they don't play by only allowing level 5 minimum to be picked. It would solve this problem entirely. And force people to have a pool of heroes at 5 before being allowed in ranked.
Thoughts?
I was on a 20+ game losing streak in Offlane. I switched to Mid and have a small 4 game win streak.
hello, as mentioned finding PMA people to rank up with. It just seems like the outcome of each game is whether or not the team has positive vibes at the start of the game and as soon as something goes wrong, everyone starts blaming and playing like shit. so pls pm me if you wanna tryhard and rank up tgt. P.S im immortal rank, main pos1 and im from singapore. PM me thank you
Hello!!
I really enjoy watching Dota 2 esports, and I especially love rewatching past tournaments like the Majors, The Internationals, and similar events.
Recently, I discovered there's a lot of fascinating content about Dota 1 tournaments from 2012 and earlier (before Dota 2's official release, of course). However, when I try to watch those games, I get completely lost. I canβt even tell which players are teammates and which are opponents!
Iβd appreciate some advice on how to better understand and enjoy Dota 1 content without feeling so confused about whatβs happening in the game. Thanks!
Had a Gyrocopter DC for 30 seconds. In that time someone sent him down mid and somehow dropped almost all of his items, which were taken by enemy heros. 6k networth gone instantly for a short DC. It should be impossible to drop items on a DC hero until they abandon right? I figure perhaps his Chop Shop innate messes with the code behind items

Falcons found the right mix to stop BetBoom in their tracks. FLC made sure they were the aggressors and set the tempo. BetBoom were kept on the back foot. With ATF's Bristle taking frontline duties, the core ES and Lina were able to do their thing and output significant amounts of damage. Despite Morph's good start, FLC had the necessary control and burst to deal with anyone in the game. Cr1t's offensive and defensive Hexes were clutch and were a huge difference maker in the skirmishes. Once BetBoom's BKBs were down there simply was no fighting into FLC's lineup. The MENA squad took the opener convincingly. FLC 1-0 BB.
After a lackluster first game, Pure came to dominate in game number 2. The Dragon Knight owned. Pure wasn't only leading in networth, he was also leading the charge when hunting for heroes across the map. Anyone caught in his path was most probably killed. Skiter's repeat hero of ES this time did not work out as he had one too many deaths at the hands of his counterpart. Kiyotaka's Invoker was allowed to play his game and he did not disappoint. With control of the map, BetBoom safely sieged with Aegis and weren't too bothered. When things got too hairy, Save's Shadow Demon was there to bail them out. BetBoom respond in a big way and we're now heading to a decider. BB 1-1 FLC.
Falcons chose to go in an unusual path with their support pairing. AA + Skywarth to try and deal with the early Morph pick for Pure but unfortunately, it didn't work out. The Morph still took control. Pure had an early Eternal Shroud to counter the magic damage + a BKB later on and the rest was instinct. The 2 supports on Falcons didn't have the normal impact they had, especially Cr1t who suffered at the latter stages. As the game grew late, Falcons' cores did look scary with the damage they had so BetBoom had to bring out Aeon Disks and be extra careful. BetBoom maintained a healthy lead with Morph at the top and FLC couldn't slow him down. A lot relied on the 3 cores of FLC to initiate but since BB had the vision and tools to deal with them, FLC couldn't find an avenue back into the game. Falcons couldn't get anything going. A slight misstep was easily punished. Any melee core out of position was easily kited. BetBoom delivered and were the better team today. BB 2-1 FLC.
Safe to say the last pick Lina did not work out as Stormstormer got dumpstered by Noone's DK in mid. The lanes went poorly for the Radiant and things only got worse. The Alch lineup got bullied on the map and found themselves in a significant hole early on (7k deficit u/14 mins). Lina was continually picked off and pretty soon the map was off-limits to even the Alch. Avulus looked lost on what to do as Parivision kept control and gave the opposition no breathing room. Avulus never looked like they had a chance. Pari with a convincing thumping to open the series. Pari 1-0 Avulus.
Despite Pari having elite setups for their Spectre's Shadow Step, it was Avulus who had the better connections in the game. Stormstormer took charge in this one and kept the aggressive playstyle in full flow for Avulus. The Puck was a menace, relentlessly hunting and setting up for his team. Pari were left to respond to Avulus' activities on the map and it all became too much. After one too many unfavorable exchanges, Pari couldn't weather the storm. Avulus with a brilliant response to keep their Upper Bracket run alive. Avulus 1-1 Pari.
It was looking very good for Avulus. The Viper handily won his lane against the Mag. The Slark had a great time vs the Bristleback. Avulus found a lot of kills before the 15-minute mark and were set up to succeed. But they got the first Aegis and crumbled. An overextension on the midlane cost them 3 casualties + Aegis and was also one of the saddest Blink reveals I've seen (Viper). Avulus lost all their momentum and gave Pari all the confidence in the world. The once beat-up Nyx Assassin had more room to explore and was a constant thorn in Enigma and Dawnbreaker's side. Noone's Magnus caught up and was exquisite in his spell usage in the fights. The pos 5 Enigma never got to his BKB so the Blackholes were never scary given how many cancels there were on Pari's side. Avulus went with a Viper lineup that had no room for error and they slipped up. Pari did a good job wrestling back control and closing the game out. Pari 2-1 Avulus.
Currently at ESL in Bangkok. Production is great as always so far. Staff is very nice too.
However even though.monster is a sponsor, there is no booth with free drinks. Kinda sucks, since they had it at ESL Berlin and it was great, because you didn't have to leave the venue for drinks

whitemon gave Indonesian viewer a clue for Tundra new midlaner in his youtube, the clue was "Gen Z".. i think Tundra new midlaner is BZM..
the reason is :
he is Gen Z
he dominated played in mid, also i think he is capable to play with Topson play style.. and he is graduated from OG academy too like Topson..π
i believe there is many reason to Tundra to choose BZM as their midlaner but it is still not 100% confirmed..
so what do you think?
I would pay for admin subscription to report griefers.
If u intentionally zapp exp under tower from 2 waves as support with a core who needs fast lvl 6. YOU ARE FUCKING GRIEFING.
If u dont do anything in lane and core takes all dmg in lane and u dont fly out regen for your core u are fucking griefing.
These ppl are low key griefing and its on purpose.
Supports who die 1 time in lane will go contest farm in your lane or leave lane as pos 5. Its your job to die for your core. Its a trade.
when the fuck are these ppl going to be perma banned?
Why implement overwatch if there is no ruleset behind it. We fucking know by know if someone is griefing. Can we start having actual judges who get these mongos perma banned?
The behaviour score system is so fkn trash. You get punished harder for a DC than actual griefing.
"Communication" abuse is useless. I CAN FKN MUTE PPL IN THE GAME IF THEY ARE ANNOYING. I dont need help with premuting these ppl from valve.
I NEED FUCKING HELP GETTING THE HARD GRIEFERS PERMA BANNED.
Also, I dont even want the MMR if a player on opposing team DC's or leaves. There is no point for me to play a ranked game 5 vs 4. I will learn nothing. Just punish the leaver and let the 9 other players go into a new lobby.
Just let ppl leave without any update. I dont care about the MMR or win. I want the game quality in ranked to improve.
The dota 2 dev team literally has no clue how to get this system working. We need like actual referees. Not a proven useless system that has not been working for 10 years.
VALVE I would give u money every month to have admins/referees watch games and get the griefers perma banned. And for the love of God just remove this useless trash system called overwatch/behaviour score from ranked. It does not help improve games. 1 griefer can still ruin a game for 9 ppl.

Got some friends to install, but going normals is just asking for them to quit
Playing vs bots is also boring for everyone
So a mode that doesn't deviate too much from normal dota, but also isn't too sweaty
I really thought dota2 would win at the GameAwards :(
