Ive been encouraged by family and friends to try modeling and I decided to give it a shot, but to get hired by a decent agency I will need digitals which is basically your modeling resume that takes place in a blank room with black clothes. If anyone knows any photographers that has a studio or something and frequently takes digitals please lmk
I'm trying to sleep over here!
This may be a long shot but..
I’m visiting Orange County in July and am looking for recommendations on solid tacos (et al). Here’s the catch: vegetarian. Doesn’t have to be vegan but if it is, all the better. Would prefer an authentic spot that doesn’t put lard in the beans to a hipster vegan joint.
TIA
Looking for a cheap motel with weekly cost any help is appreciated!
Does anyone know of thrift stores that sells film cameras? I’ve been interested in film camera
Hi as title says me and my girlfriend are currently facing hardship, nd are looking for a motel in Orange County with weekly monthly low rates, any help is appreciated. :)
Ayy how y’all doin!
Just curious if there’s any bar here with Real Madrid or football fans in general, especially with the upcoming Champions league final; would also love any other recommendations for spots that aren’t necessarily bars if possible 😎
Need some place to leave my corgi for a few days next month. I’m in garden grove so the surrounding cities are fine.
Picture for attention.
LAFC going to win in about 15 minutes . Go on the chick fil an app after the game(takes around 20 minutes), until 11:59PM, tonight, to have the reward pop up. You would have 2-3 days to redeem the sandwich, Sundays are excluded. You need to have geolocation allowed for the reward to pop up. I’ve been told the reward can be claim as far as Crypto Arena to Riverside airport, but it may vary. Redeemed items are stackable.
Hello everyone! In a few weeks I will be in OC. I'm moving from Chicago. I was hoping anyone could point me in the direction of your best pizza and beef sandwich. I always love to have a "go-to" place when I don't feel like cooking. I'd love to hear the places everyone has in mind. I appreciate everyone for the input. Thank you.
Edit: The company I will be working for is putting me up in a hotel for a few months until I get a place. So I will be traveling all around the area to different places to see where I'd like to settle down. So I will be in different towns and possibly like to enjoy the best of what they have.
Anyone know if they’ll be visible down here tonight? And if so, where/when to view them?
I’ve seen the maps with the rings and they don’t get down this south but people were seeing them in LA and San Diego last night so I thought I’d ask.
Hello all,
New to the area Any sports bar recommendations for watching the NHL playoffs?
Thanks!
Angels scored 7 runs, you know what means. Go on the chick fil an app after the game, or in 20 minutes, until 11:59PM, tonight, to have the reward pop up. You would have 2-3 days to redeem the sandwich, Sundays are excluded. You need to have geolocation allowed for the reward to pop up. I just passed the massive dealership off the 405 freeway and saw the sign that they’re going out of business. Sad!!
Moving to Irvine with my fiance, we’ve looked mainly at different “Irvine Company” apartments. We’re wondering what the general consensus is on that company and other companies/rental options in the area. We are moving across country so I deally want a “community”, not too far from the beach and not too far from an airport. Budget is maximum $3200/month. We had also looked at Aliso Viejo, Laguna Beach and Tustin, are they nice areas? What would you recommend, as someone living locally?
Stopped drinking Starbucks while back (it’s really not good and so overpriced) but I haven’t been able to find a good local spot in my area of Anaheim. I end up driving a few miles into Fullerton or Orange to get a good drink. There is a Tierra Mia down the street but I’d like to support more small businesses! For reference I’m in east Anaheim near Lincoln and State College
I am looking to reserve at a restaurant for a party of 22 on Friday May 31st. We are trying to eat around 1:30 and if possible we don’t want to be split up at all into smaller tables. Preferably around the New Port/Irvine/Costa Mesa area. Any suggestions? All suggestions welcome, even outside of those 3 cities. Thank you in advance!
hi everyone,
so i am a socal student and the apartment I live in uses socal edison. now at the beginning of the school year (sept), those living in the apartment need to set up an account with socal edison to pay for utilities. however, I didn't move into my apartment until January as i was on the east coast for an internship.
when i moved into my apartment, i discovered that none of my roommates set up an account for socal edison which means that they didn't pay for utilities from sept-december (January included bc they didn't set it up until February). the only reason they set it up was because i got on their cases about it because i know how to set it up and i didn't want something to get hit with like bills after graduation just because my ass didn't want to confront them about not setting up the account. in fact, i would've set it up myself. but seeing that they haven't paid for electricity for months, i wasn't going to have my credit card tanked just because they were being dumb.
so anyway, it's set up. however, the roommate who is the account holder would send us pretty average bills (around $40) but then days later, text the groupchat saying that we owe ($152). however, when i asked them to check if the second bill was a late payment, they said they would check. they said that it included the latest cycle, but i have a feeling the roommate was lying. one roommate, who is besties with the other accountholder roommate, claimed that she called socal edison but she's not an authorized user. how can she get info from socal edison about the bill when she's not the account holder? i just paid it bc i didn't want to start any more conflict because things between us are already iffy. another note, they don't send screenshots of the bill.
the current situation is similar to the first. on Tuesday, my roommates said that we owed $43 for the latest cycle. but then yesterday (Friday), she says that our bill is already over $100. this doesn't make any sense because how does the bill rack up to over $100 in a span of a few days? i have a feeling that this latest bill is just a reflection of the months that they didn't pay, and that sce is just uploading it months later.
i was initially scared to say something because i have a mini fridge in my room but it's also energy star. furthermore, i don't use the kitchen anymore because I've been trying to avoid my roommates because they just make me so upset that i think not seeing them is better for me mentally. they've accused me of racking up the bill to $152 for leaving the heater on overnight, but i have never used the heater or the aircon since moving in because it's in my roommate's (the account holder) hallway, and i just don't want to go in that area. i have two blankets that i keep in my room, and i wear jackets and fuzzy socks when I'm cold. they, on the other hand (i have seen/heard them do it), have left the heaters and the kitchen lights on OVERNIGHT. i know for a fact that this racks up the bill because i lived in the same apartment in a private apartment where i was in charge of the socal edison bill.
can someone tell me if it's a possibility that the high bills are from my roommates not paying for 4 months? thank you. this has caused me so much stress.
Almost got pulled into a 9 month trial this week. Luckily was ineligible, but any idea what this would have been for? In Orange County? That’s like an OJ level length trial, right?
Hey all,
Belmont brokerage recently posted a couple apartments for a property they manage in Seal Beach, 320 7th St. Apartments 3 and 4. They talk about some of the good qualities of the apartments in the advertisements, but what they don't advertise is the reason both apartments are currently vacant. On February 1st of this year, the entire street flooded and all apartments on the first floor of the property saw significant water damage. I know that in apartment 3, there was 3-4 inches of water above the floor level at one point. The flooring and drywall for the units had to be replaced, and a lot of the possessions of the people who were living there got damaged. Also for anyone who was parked on the street, their car was under a couple feet of water.
You can see video and pictures of the street and nearby businesses flooding here:
Right now the apartments are listed for $2200/month, which is a lot higher than what the other people at the property pay. Also regarding apartment 3 in particular, take a close look at the ceiling -- this property is known to have problems with asbestos, and the ceiling is still coming apart in several places.
So yeah. Be careful.
Does anyone have recommendations for dog adoptions or shelters?

Anyone have a good rec for the best beer battered fish taco around OC? I’ve always enjoyed the rubios tacos. Can’t beat that $2 price on Tuesdays. I’ve also tried Taco Nazo in bellflower which was pretty good.
Hey all,
Looking for a good touchless car wash near Costa Mesa or Newport Beach that also has a powerful vacuum station. Any recommendations?
Currently under contract and fixing to close soon. Our kitchen countertop was water damaged and need to be replaced along with the sink. We are thinking of replacing the double sink with the single bowl overmounted sink.
