I’m a young guy about to start making around 60k a year wondering if it’s a good idea to purchase something fast(corvette)
I know… I know… the age old Corvette trope.
Curious about the production numbers of manual, Watkins Grey ZR1s. As far as I can tell there were 95 Watkins ZR1s with black interiors, but I can’t find production numbers for manual cars.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Bonus points if it was the only Vette made by a Protestant named Dale on a Tuesday.
Basically what the title says. I’ve heard that it’s ok for the balancer to have slight wobble but is this too much?
Looking at a Noco genius 10, any experience with these? Think I would add the accessory eyelet connect on that I could easily plug into when in the garage. It’s just clicked the last two times I’ve gone to drive it, then starts right up the second try. Batteries not even 2 yet so trying to be proactive. Any tips would be appreciated!
The stock exhaust (non npp) is just unacceptably quiet. Looking for an after market system, don’t care much for power gains at the moment. Someone tell me why I should hold out for corsa vs a half price axle back system like slp or black hearts.
My horn will randomly pin itself and stay on until I tap the airbag and then it stops. Not sure what it could be. Anyone have any ideas

Just bought a 2008 Z06. Everything is great with the car, with the exception of the steering. While stopped it feels like there is no power steering at all. At slow speeds it feels like there is barely any assistance. And at higher speeds it still feels like barely any assist.
I've been reading through various forum posts and trying to figure out where to start - but unfortunately I'm travellings for work for the next few weeks so I won't get to play with it at all. Hoping to hear some of your experiences with widebody c6 steering failures.
I'm aware of the following: -Magnasteer system may have failed? I'm just unsure if my symptoms align with a failed magnet. -Steering racks on these failed quite often. Maybe the rack is bad and fighting back? -Pump could be on its way out, but there is no whining at all at any speed/rpm.
Like I said, just trying to get some good ideas to throw at the problem when I get home.

If not, what do they do with C6s that get traded in? Is it better to buy an older vette from a dealership if you can find one?
Hello all, as the title suggests I’m hearing this strange scraping noise on my 2011 GS automatic. I took it to a shop to replace the fuel sending unit (infamous problem) and now I have this noise. A second or two into the video you can hear me start to drive and then not long after you can hear the noise.
What’s strange about the noise is that it ONLY happens after a few conditions are met. 1) only happens after a cold start 2) only happens once put in drive from a cold start and driven to avoid 5-13mph 3) doesn’t happen for the rest of the drive, even from a stop light 4) doesn’t happen even if I stop the car and put it in park then back in gear.
I don’t hear any other new sounds, there’s no new smells or vibrations etc, and the car feels exactly how it should. The sound almost seems like it’s coming from the dash. I’ve taken it back to them twice since then and they can’t find anything. Any insight is much appreciated!

Hi. I’m considering installing a Borla axle back exhaust on my C6 but I’ve read some issues about it not fitting with the stock hangers and drone at certain rpm’s. Anyone heard of this? I don’t want to make a mistake
