This week I am off to attend the Wow Asia Awards and expo in Mumbai. Last year we [DarkroomTV] won gold for our main stage design at Sunburn Festival in Goa , Asia's biggest music festival. I've put together a short film that tells the story of that journey.

Hi, I want to learn stage design and I am looking for someone to learn it together with. If you are interested, feel free to send a pm. Thanks!
Hi everyone :) I am having a stage for my outdoor music event of around 200 people for the djs and have a stage design where something will need to be hanging, so I need a stage floor as well as trussing (is that the right term?). Ground is grass, has a chance to be damp due to cold.
The area for the stage is on a slight angle (1-2% incline).
Does the trussing connect directly to the stage floor, or is it connected to the ground?
If trussing connects to stage, are there height adjustable stage floor legs? If trussing connects to ground instead, is there a way to level out trussing?
Since the ground is grass, how do I firmly connect trussing/stage to the ground without it moving?
I need the stage to be weatherproof, any tips of what I would cover the sides/top with? Tarp? Metal? Wood?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks :)

Hey, my name is James. I am a high school student and would love to take some time to interview a director in the event production field. I really would love to reach out asap for a project and I have already preset questions to ask. Thank you so much and I’m hoping someone can help me out!

Hello! I am a designer and recently opened a company, for now am focusing on the design side of things - I am building it so that later I can get the equipment and other things I need. I am having a problem with pricing, how does one go about pricing for a stage design (just rendering)? I want the know what is the industry standard and how to go about it. If you can share quotes, or a pricelist that could help.
I have tried:
ChatGPT - I wasn't satisfied with the answers
YouTube - I couldn't find anything
Facebook - I couldn't find anything
Even a Google search didn't bear any answer

I was watching this cool performance of Martin Garrix which has crazy lighting patterns and visuals:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lGCo8ILvauI
I'm wondering how all these lights and LED screens are controlled nowadays? I understand that patterns and colors etc are preprogrammed in presets. But given that there are so many lights that activated individually, is there a person pressing the right buttons? Since almost every festival/performance has these things I guess there is a "typical" way of doing this.
For example, when there is a big drop or a breakdown is someone pressing preset X at the right moment? Or is there a program that listens to the output of the DJ and detects a "drop" and activates a preprogrammed scene? Is this programmed with MIDI maybe?
I find this very interesting, any help is appreciated!
