Is the Adult clover even big?

We was told my Matt Reeves that the clover monster was supposed to be a baby. But in the ARG for the 2008 movie we get told that the reason the monster is of that size is because it had consumed vast amounts of the seabed nectar which has a growth hormone over possibly thousands of years. So technically unless the "Adult" monster also consumed the seabed nectar whose to say it isn't just a regular small deep-sea animal?

Of course in Paradox we see a glimpse of the "Adult" clover in the end but in Paradox they shit on the ARG of the 2008 movie and pretty much changed the backstory so it fits.

    Question

In the scene where lady Liberty's head hits a building, what building is it? I mean the one that clover destroys and causes the cloud of dust. I'm trying to make a simple map of Clover's route in New York but Robb's apartment and that building are the most complicated to locate (being me in Latin America)

Best resource to have all the details for Cloverfield ARG?

I’m searching for the best documented resource about Cloverfield’s ARG. Some youtuber made videos about this, but those videos are either too short so lack detail or some very dragging long videos without too much content.

I have been to the 1-18-08 website after the movie, the site is still alive back then, and it’s creepy. I hope I could join the while ARG at the time.

Is there any detailed document that clearly explaining everything and every process in the ARG?

Maybe even with websites archive files?

Or what’s the best documentary for the first Cloverfield’s whole ARG?

The Cloverfield Paradox: Maybe a Redraft?

But seriously though, after 6 (Jesus 😬) years this movie continues to be quite controversial, it seems as though the fandom falls into 2 groups, either: you love the Cloverfield stuff and don’t care for everything else or you love the space stuff and feel that everything that relates to Cloverfield feels forced…I’m teetering towards the latter option ngl, however that being said…I still kinda enjoy the movie, flaws and all…it’s a shame that the ARG pretty much went no where, here’s hoping the next one (whenever that may be) will be better

    Multiverse Cloverfield Theory

    Hi guys, just came in

I'm from Brazil, só sorry for anything I write wrong.

So, watching paradox, I figured that they had at least 4 multiverse in the film. The one that we have seen, let's call "Earth 0"

The one that the blonde woman is (Jensen isn't?). "Earth 2"

The "earth" that came the "clovers" monsters that we saw. "Earth 3"

And the other that the arm of the man who 'lost' the arm. Since the Earth 2 the ship is on the ocean and they're all dead, and earth 3 is just monsters. We can assume that there's another dimension from the arm.

    And another subject.

The first film is a footage of the moment the monsters arrived the Earth 0. Then the second film is another perspective from people that lived the moment and got to a shelter. The third is about how the monster came. I think it's genially good that they make this way (even if the movie isn't that great).

Now when the 4th movie arrive I think that they will do one of two things: or

    1. They will manage to kill all monster and regain the earth somehow.

Or 2. They will do 2 more movies tô finish the lore. The 4th will be they fighting tô go up to the station and the second, they changing something to the 'boson' tô send the creatures back.

That's it. Thx for read my thoughts. And sorry if I wrote something wrong. What u t think about my theory?

Why is everyone so butt hurt about the franchise being over because of Paradox?

I know that Cloverfield Paradox was a clunker, and kind of left things on a weird note but it wasn’t that excruciatingly horrid was it? It was a weird sloppy B movie at best but I mean we had like two really great movies so far from this franchise which we love so dearly, and I didn’t think that one movie made me hate the franchise. I like to think they learned (hopefully) from the whole rebranding a screenplay to be a Cloverfield screenplay thing. So when People say that they would hate the idea of another film of course I understand it would suck if the movie was bad, but also lets be honest we’d all be in those seats if a trailer dropped tomorrow.

Original "God Particle" Spec Script (The Cloverfield Paradox)

I'm currently on the search for the original spec script for "God Particle," the original "Cloverfield Paradox," since I learned that "Paradox" is just a rewrite of "God Particle," which was initially written as an original screenplay unrelated to "Cloverfield" before it was eventually rewritten as part of the "Cloverfield" universe.

I highly think that "Paradox" isn't a good movie, but I'm curious about "God Particle." I wonder if it's actually better than what we ended up getting. I tried to search the original script online, but some of the Google Drive links are either broken, no longer available, or need permission from the owner. If anyone has a working link to the script, reply below!

    The monster

So after giving the first film another watch for the millionth time and only just discovering this page, does anyone find it odd that Clover or the parasites are always where the group are. New York is a big place the military definitely couldn't keep it contained if it wanted to move on it would. My little theory goes like this, rob works for slusho which use the same underwater nectar the monster supposedly eats, maybe rob has trace amounts on him and Clover can smell/sense it. Clover is obviously distracted by being a pissed off baby getting shot at but it always is in the same area of the group, maybe this is why a parasite tried to drag of Hud because him and Rob did hug at the party(which I'm assuming Rob came straight from work) so maybe the trace amount was on him to by way of transference.

    Edit:

    1. Marlene says it was eating people but was it selective eating maybe eating people who work with slusho or consume large quantities of the drink.
    2. after the stealth bomber drops it payload on the creature it lunges straight at the same helicopter with rob on it once again like he's got a personal issue with anyone working with that nectar.

3)when Hud get nommed on the creature spits out half of him(maybe all of him we don't see the full amount) , this kind of reminds me of when sharks bites surfers they bite and let go just clovers bite on a man can instantly kill. 4) the creature instantly leaves after this like it realised OK rob ain't food because Hudson wasn't. For a creature that is killing the way it has it was to random for it to only attack one and walk away

"The Most Underrated Monster Movie" (Cloverfield)

Hi everyone, I'm Gage! I am a filmmaker and YouTube content creator who makes videos covering different topics in the world of film. I've been a die-hard Cloverfield fan since the first time I saw it at 11 years old when me and a couple of friends snuck into the theater to see it. The film is what inspired me to pursue filmmaking, and I haven't looked back since.

This week, I made a video covering Cloverfield and why I think it's greatly underappreciated and why I think it's one of, if not the best monster movie ever created. I figured this community would appreciate/enjoy it!

If this type of post isn't allowed, I apologize! Just wanted to share with this community and get your thoughts. Here's the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1PVNX35PeoU

    Thanks!

    Fixing The Cloverfield Paradox

This is my 3rd attempt to fix the Cloverfield Paradox in a way that does not add to remove from the existing movies or ARGs, whilst also remaining simple. This is what I’ve come up with but feel free to add to this theory.

To fix Cloverfield Paradox, I propose that the Cloverfield monsters still come from the rip in space-time that the Shepherd caused. However, this rip did not cause the monsters to appear on Earth, but only appear on Earth suddenly in the universes we saw in Cloverfield Paradox due to those universes being the eye of the storm. Every other universe simply brought the Clovie monsters into existence around the universe and throughout time. We can back this up since it was state that it would rip space and time, meaning we can still maintain the theory that Clovie is an alien egg from thousands of years ago left on Earth, or Clovie monsters were originally on Earth and left their eggs in the ocean.

This way, Cloverfield Paradox is still cannon whilst allowing Cloverfield and 10CL to not have the explanation of “they suddenly appeared from the Shepherd.” Yes, they did appear from the Shepherd but they did so thousands of years ago across the universe.

Need help trying to reach out to the actor who played Jamie Lascano in the original ARG

Update: I have found her LinkedIn and messaged her there and I also messaged the actual casting director from Cloverfield just to see if maybe she had a business email I could reach out to. Fingers crossed!

So I know this is a huge shot in the dark here but i figured what the hell. Im currently working on a lengthy in depth break down of the ARG for the original Cloverfield film and I thought it would be really cool to reach out to the actor who played Jamie Lascano in the ARG to possibly talk to her about what that experience was like. However to my surprise, other than here real name, Jamie Harlan that's listed on IMDB, i can't seem to find anywhere to reach her about this. No social media, no agent no nothing. Does anyone know of anyway to reach out to her?

    Reminder

I was having an argument with a friend abouth whether Cloverfield or Godzilla x Kong was a better movie. I argued that Cloverfield has a higher rating in IMDB than GxK, and he argued back that Cloverfield had more time to gain better ratings since it came out 16 years before GxK. Thus, we came to the conclusion that we will check back on the rating of both Cloverfield and GxK in 2024. If reddit still exists then, can aomeone please remind me to check the ratings?
