I've been wanting an in-game editor since I played Civ 4 and was curious if you'd like that in the game as well?
Of course it would only be for single player use.
I'm thinking about buying a civilization game but I don't know whether to buy V or VI. I've read that the V is better but the VI is more advanced, so I'm not sure which one is better for me. The V is 11 euros with all its packs and the VI is 54 euros with all its packs as well. Money is not really a problem because I am going to buy it with the cultural bonus (money that the Spanish government gives to young people), although it is true that if I buy the V I would have a lot of money left over and I could buy video games and sell them around to earn a little money. If you have played both games, help me decide which one to buy please :(
Have civilization weaknesses. For example one unit they can't build, such as Aztecs not being able to build knights. Or have a debuff to a certain unit class. Or a civ weakness could be being worse in a certain terrain. This would help playing each civ feel different. It would take some balancing since being militarily weak in one area will need a comparable buff in another area.
Another idea is to have strengths or weaknesses to an entire culture group. Say, elephants from any African country having more hitpoints.
Hi! I have been looking for a while now for a civ1 for the Gameboy advance port (or any solution), but cannot find anything. It would be so amazing if you can boot your gba (+ everdrive) and play civ(1) on the go!!
What i have thought of/ tried:
of course tried to find a gba port or anything mentioning this on the Internet. But could not find anything
Converting the SNES port to gba. This almost did the trick! I found somewhere a project which can concert snes roms to gba, but does not work optimal for all titels. (I can try to find this site/ converter again if needed.) This resulted in something that starts in the gba, but was totally unplayable.
i tried finding a snes or dos emulator which can run on Krikzz everdrive, but could find anything and dont think this works on Krikzz everdrive, maybe EZFlash?
maybe the source code, or the open source civ1 project can be converted to a gba rom? Havent tried this, and before i dive further into this i would like to know of this is even possible. I know there are a lot of civ1 project of which the code is available and the tools to make Gameboy games have been improved lately.
Does anyone know which option would be best to pursue? Or are there any other options??
Many thanks in advance!
I'm relatively new to the game, having played it for about a month now. I've play about 24 hours, securing both a science victory and a score victory on the third highest difficulty . I play on PS5, as Nvidia's cloud gaming platform doesn't support it on PC. Sad.
If you offer coaching, I'd like to see some form of credibility or proof to ensure I won't be scammed.
