Erin baby come home the kids miss you
Binge watching some old Law&Order SVU episodes, found Marina in S12E23. She's a woman who finds a random guy in her bed and has about four scenes in total. Funny thing is that I've watched this episode before but didn't remember her being in it.
(P.S. 1. Sorry if someone already posted this, I looked and didn't find anything. 2. I'm Brazilian, hence the subtitles.)
Do you guys remember Kenny Rixton??? I just saw him playing a character named Oliver on NBC’s new series “The Hunting Party” right after “The Voice” Monday nights! Point is, if you don’t remember, Kenny Rixton was Ruzek’s replacement for 5 episodes in Season 4 of Chicago PD. Ruzek requested to be on an undercover assignment which led to Rixton’s introduction in the 10th episode of Season 4. You may remember that members of the intelligence unit started whispering about what happened in the gang unit in the 14th episode of Chicago PD’s 4th season!
Was Antonio even allowed to come back to PD? Wasn't his police powers removed once he joined the DA office?
Hello,
Is the cross-over worth watching or can I just watch CPD and not be lost? I haven't watched CMed and CF in a long time.
EDIT : Thanks, 3 episodes it is then :)
You all know that he is a detective right if i remember correctly it happened in season 7 and in the episode that rojas comes in trudy addressed kevin as detective.
He looks sooo damn good😭❤️
Both ray price and kelton was a bad choice for mayor of Chicago.
I have said, “You need to look it in the eye” many times.
I stopped watching when Erin left, but sometimes I think about picking it back up again. I loved Sophia’s character and just can’t imagine it without her :/ what do yall think? Is it worth it?
Does anyone know or remember why Voight was in prison when the show first started out? It doesn’t really touch on WHY he was in prison and got out by making a deal with AIB? Husband & I are doing a rewatch completely from scratch and I noticed that it hasn’t said why he was in prison in the first place!
Sergeant*
Which episode did Ruzek get kicked in the nuts then later he's in the locker room laying there with ice and Jay comes in and is laughing. I love that episode and I want to watch it again.
Am I the only one who found their chemistry a lot more natural and fun to watch than Upstead’s? Their shared dark humor was way better than Uptons robotic try hard dark humor, tbh I found Upzek more natural seeming that what they did with Jay and Hailey. That’s just me though. Halstead clashes with her way more ideologically than he did with Lindsay.
The Wedding - for those who have been rooting for it. May 2025 - Finale according to Patrick John Flueger to TVLine but he added no details.
We have waited 12 seasons - ’bout time. Through all the engagement exploding, the fights, the getting shot - three times, the loss of their kid, the adoption of another, the PTSD, the affairs with others, Adam going to jail, thru thick and thin, they have returned to each other - bout time.
Now they can settle in to next season just dealing with everyday stuff that will most definitely cause some turmoil - and it will.
But seriously man what a fucking crossover.... genuinely amazing.
“Marie” and “Street Jesus” seem interesting titles…am going forward to read their descriptions and what are they about later.
Rewatching the series and I really dislike Jay. I’m so glad he left the show. His rude undermining, self righteous, I know better than everyone else attitude sucks.
What an absolute masterpiece of writing all around the board. Fantastic individual storylines and plots. Excellent display of teamwork and honestly quite different to crossovers in the past, with less characters usually involved at any given time, this time it was spot on. Acting was 10/10, plethora of mini-cliffhangers to keep the watcher engaged, great camera work which I've noticed has been getting better across all shows the past few seasons. The Stella + Ruzek situation in the subway was a fantastic dynamic I didn't actually see coming at all. Even once they got in the train car I didn't expect the later events to cause em to be trapped in there. Trudy being betrayed by her old partner was another great twist. Every department doing their best and showing why they're the best throughout the whole thing too. Extremely good use of lines for some characters that added plenty of depth to the situation at hand, for example Hermann shadowing Pascal but later saying he won't be able to live with himself if he doesn't get out there with his people. Another example being Mouch talking to Dr Charles and wanting to be there for Trudy but also wanting to be there for her. The way they also hid the 3rd offender in plain sight of the subway cart was another small yet great subtle twist.
Voight and Chief Pascal... what a great finishing shot.
Overall I'd give a 10/10. Hats Off to One Chicago for this one.
So first of all that was an awesome crossover but watching how involved Trudy was in the whole thing just upset me. Like I freaking love her and she was like the main character of the whole three hour show, well her, Adam and Kidd. Why the hell isn’t she featured more prominently on pd like she used to be?? Obviously they think highly of her to give her such a big part in the crossover maybe they need to show her some more love in her main show!? That’s all thanks for reading so much haha!
i really don’t mind waiting another few years for a crossover if they are as intricate and well written as this most recent one. I love how the tone is consistent and no storylines are left behind for too long. felt like a naturally progressing story. Also the story was grand without it being convoluted.
Just finished the episode and. wow.
Antonio asked for 5 minutes, okay yeah. I assumed Voight would let him. Antonio and Whatever-His-Name-Is fight. The WHNI says to Antonio "How old even was she? She 18 yet? Cause she good." insinuating that he'd raped Antonio's daughter.
I don't know what to say. Life for Antonio is really going horribly, I feel bad for him.
Was watching the new TV show The Pitt and noticed the character who plays Deputy Chief Reid who we meet during the end of the episode of burgess detective exam who has the suspicious behavior and tendencies plays a doctor on the tv show. His character on The Pitts is Dr. Jack Abbot
I just got done watching the polar plunge episode on fire when firehouse 51 and the 21st district faced each other. My question is do you think voight did the polar plunge lol
I had to watch these 2 videos. One on empathy. One on the Danger Of A Single Story. We had to write an essay in how these 2 videos connect back to a topic that i chose. I chose the BLM Movement. Atwater’s episodes involving those racist cops as well as a couple other episodes of PD that feature the Black Lives Matter movement really helped me develop this essay. While PD may be fictional, the Black Lives Matter movement is real. And a lot of the things and storylines from a few years ago and late 2020 centered around Covid and a small section in the Season 8 premiere of PD shows Atwater listening to the radio when George Floyd’s name came up. Plus, the power struggle between African Americans and police have gone on for forever. As far back as the Civil Rights movement. I appreciate Atwater and those episodes giving me a deeper understanding into the sociological issues that still occur between BLM and police today.
This is honestly one of the saddest Chicago PD episodes I've ever watched. I was crying over Trudy and over that guy who got his legs amputated. And over Stella and Adam. I'm literally in tears. Probably the saddest crossover ever.
