I’m bingeing S12 and it’s so good. But anyone think the show has gotten darker, more intense? Since Hailey left, Hank burden seems heavier. The subject matter is darker, the music moodier. An overall feeling of sadness. Anyone else notice this?
Is China town Chicago and China town new York City the same?
We needed to see more patrol cops after Burgess and Atwater went upstairs.
I love Trudy McHolland on CFD. I really do. But I miss the old Sargent Trudy Platt on CPD. She went from a cantankerous hump buster of patrolmen to nothing more than a glorified receptionist for the Intelligence Unit. She'll make a zing here and there, but it's not the same...
Ok I’m finally at season 10- I’m so sad Jay is gone. What the hell man?
Ruzek just gets more and more attractive to me. The episode with the kid being sexually abused and Mikayla getting kidnapped… makes him my dream man. I saw previews for the newer seasons and I never thought Torres was attractive…. But boy was I wrong. He was an excellent add to the cast and I’m really enjoying his character. Kevin- my man Kevin… why can’t they give him a break? Really paints a picture of how complicated it can be to be a black police officer. Poor guy is always damned if he does damned if he doesn’t. Kim is also slowly getting on my nerves but only bc I love Adam so much and she is such an ass to him. As always Trudy is the diamond of the show. And to sneak in a note from season 9- I wish Anna would have lived. I enjoyed her relationship with voight.
I’m starting to understand why some dislike Upton, season 9 she started getting on my nerves.
I know that they have a tough job, but did you ever notice that they never smile? Like, EVER??
Even when they're home, they're always serious and uptight about something.
What if Odafin Tutuola or rollins walked in on voight beating the pervert in the cage? Lol
I feel like Fire has a lot more bare bodies and racy scenes but PD's cast is off the charts in terms of overall attractiveness. Atwater, Jay and Adam are IMO so sexy. Even voight has an appeal. Kim, Upton (Erin in earlier season) all incredibly beautiful. Just curious what everyones opinion is. I didnt include med bc I havent watched it but Ive seen the characters and they arent even close on the scale.
no adam is not a hypocrite for getting mad at torres. “adam made mistakes and screwed up” then we are all hypocrites. but adam didnt get mad at torres for screwing up. only reason he got mad at torres was because kim could go to jail for covering for him. thats not entirely torres fault but it is partly. if it wasnt for that he would have been more like kevin or said to torres something like “dont beat up yourself up too much. we’ve all screwed up before”. is it hypocritical if someone gave backlash to adam for getting mad at torres but praised jay when he punched voight a few seasons ago?
yes adam was a little hypocrite for getting upset about kim covering for torres. but still valid. he understands why she did it. that doesnt mean he has to be cool about it. he didnt deny when she said “a choice you would have made for anyone of us” because she was right. he did and went to jail for it. but the difference is now they are together and more importantly they are parents. if kim goes to jail that affects him and makayla. kim could go to jail or lose her job and yall thought adam ruzek of all people would be chill about that? 😂 adam knows what thats like so of course he wouldnt want kim going through the same. when you love someone you dont want anything bad to happen to them.
will voight tell the team especially torres and kim chief reid knows everything or will he keep it to himself? i think he will keep it to himself for sometime and then eventually have to tell them or they will find out on their own.
on my rewatch i noticed when torres is crying over gloria's dead body they showed adam, kiana, voight's reactions. they barely showed kevin and didnt show kim at all. i think that was on purpose.
I checked on Wattpad and fanfic.net
(Read a lot of good ones on there but I can't find more😭)
Bro , I'm soo mad at Jay for leaving her 😭🤞🏼
If he had to come back and you were in Hailey's shoes , what would you say/do to him????
Who else wants to hear the cop cuties song on Chicago PD? 😂😂
it was one I read a few years ago and now I can't find it anywhere
Erin cheats on Jay with I guy she works with, they have a daughter and Jay finds out around Christmas time when he take their daughter ring shopping and they see Erin with her guy from work kissing.
Is battle of the badges a real thing? Ik cops and firefighters play baseball against each other. But is the boxing a real thing?
Is There Any consequences for the Chicago PD-law and order svu crossover? More specfically about Olivia Benson's threat against Hank Voight?
I feel like if you’ve only watched Chicago fire and seen voight there is is a truly misunderstood charecter in the show. Yes he obviously goes way out of his legal boundaries to get his work done but i think the reasoning behind it is the justification for him.
Yes he went too fsr w Matt Casey, but he also said and admitted to that fact to Al. ‘After Camille I tried to do everything I possibly could for justin and in doing that I took it too far’ also mentions the interaction w Matt at hanks home door.
Then in Chicago pd throughout the show you see his backstory and what he does or is willing to do for his team and even complete strangers just to give them peace of mind or help in any way he could.
Whether is be getting Antonio’s kid back, both times. Or whenever he sees one of his officers beat or shot he is on a rampage to rectify or get some type of justice. Whenever we have seen any unfair treatment towards his team he is the first to defend them. Or helping a random kid off the street through out the show or their families. Examples are first episode the kid he gets out the gang. Or the CI’s kid who drove a truck and got involved in a robbery.
I don’t understand why this is done. It puts a sour taste in my mouth about this show. And it seems to happen in all the One Chicago shows. Maybe I’m imagining this, and these stories make sense. But, from my point of view, most of these character and story decisions don’t even make sense given the development the characters have done. Is there supposed to be some kind of subliminal message that people don’t change? I mean, they spent ten years developing Jay, then had him do the very thing he escaped, and that tortured him according to his brother. According to Will, Mouse did better in the military than Jay, but Jay did better in civilized society. Anyway, let me know your thoughts.
I have to say- I started by watching all of Chicago fire and had not so warm feelings about Voight based on that… but I am now watching PD and by season 5, I absolutely love voight and he can do no wrong. That’s all I came here to say! He’s like in a constant brooding state and I’m here for it.
Watching Forrest Gump and still can’t believe Bubba and Denny are the same guy!
Does anyone else think they’re trying to set Kim up to take over command of Intelligence after Voight
Okay this is all opinion based and id love to hear everyone’s. How do everyone feel about Dante and Cook? Don’t get me wrong every female/male partner doesn’t have to end up together but I can see a relationship between them. I’ve rewatched S12 E6 so many times and I still feel the same way. That they have so much chemistry even with little scenes in the recent episodes, more chemistry than Burgess and Ruzek in the beginning. I think they would make great partners, on or off the task force. The first time they officially met he remembered her right away and he’s like “But I’m here, I’m Torres.” Then the look back at him she did whew! Took her by surprise. He trusted her IMMEDIATELY! They’re both super attentive to each other without realizing it—ofc that may be nothing they’re cops they’re supposed to be but he pays attention to the little things about her. Then don’t get me started on how good they worked together. Like I said they didn’t have many scenes in the recent episodes but I feel like in the little time she’s been on the show we’ve seen a different side to Dante. I don’t remember him talking as much as he does to her, and on the most recent episodes he was so concerned for her safety. Even when she was upset with him, she saw the breakdown he was having without knowing him long I wish she’d said something but I understand why she hadn’t. Ik after what happened it’ll take him a minute to recover but am I the only one who thinks this? They have so much potential! Like look at how he was looking at her^^😂 I may be reaching because there’s potential so please tell me if I am.
