Im watching season 6 right now after they catch Antonio in the middle of his drug habit and he’s back on the intelligence squad. I find it so funny that he keeps trying to “check them” on not trusting him around drugs and tries to make them feel bad and every character just looks at him and says that they don’t trust him at all in anyway and moves on, the look on his face every time sends me to space 🤣

He deserved so much better than being murdered in cold blood because he was a means of getting to Voight. His main mistake was not coming to Voight when he started being squeezed, but I get that. He wasn’t really part of the unit, in the way Mouse was, mostly because of his connection to Jay.

I do miss these computer guys.

Seems like not many people liked his character. He wasn't my favorite character by any means but I thought his storylines on patrol were pretty good and he brought a nice touch to the show being on patrol and involved with intelligence some times. I'd rather have roman on the show compared to what we have been getting the last few seasons.

Everytime I'm looking the show I'm wondering how the team can afford the cars they drive. Are officers and detectives paid so well in US ?

Also it seems like they use their private cars. Is it a common thing in US ?

So I know we can’t compete these shows but I just want to say that the rookie is far more better to a point where you have characters moving up and being put in new positions to make the show more interesting, if anyone watches Chicago PD they use to have the characters as the police on the beat and getting into trouble or situations that an everyday cop would get into but then they would move up or whatever , Chicago PD should of never went away from this type of thing like the rookie you see Tim in a new position with metro you see Nolan in a new position hell even Angela became a detective lol the show the rookie really means the rookie to of every position .. the rookie action scenes are better as well to the Chicago PD .. kinda rambling on but anyone else watch Chicago PD and wondered why they went away from the police on the ground in the streets not just focus on intelligence..

Remember in season 7, after Kelton died, they brought in Super Jason Crawford, how good was he?! He let Hank do what needed to be done as long as he got results. He's was brilliant.

I'm guessing cos of what happened in real life before season 8 meant we couldn't have him back acting that way. Which is a shame cos after all the restrictions tried putting on Hank, it'd been nice to see where it'd gone if had a superior who backs him.

One of reasons I think shows gotten worse is that they're too strict at following real life actions. The show isn't real, so they could of played out the show without having to acknowledge certain things to the level they did.

In the Chicago Universe, police reform could of been a thing but not as deep for it to affect Voight. BLM was always in works since season 6 but having it take away the cage and have Attwater become sooooo straight edge.

No other show except Med with COVID has really changed its ways due to real life instance

Maybe she is going to L&O SVU in NY as someone who invesitgates and solves crimes with child / domestic abuse or maybe she is gonna start a totally new show along this line of investigation - maybe with a national link like FBI

It is very intriguing that all of it has been such a mystery - something like this or maybe she and Jay are really gonna do the marital thing - they are dating ya know.

The next Chicago PD episode looks like a good one for her - “Buried Pieces”. is it the end or perhaps the beginning of the end?

watched 11x02 yesterday and i am very disappointed in adam. idc how bored he is sitting at home or how much fomo he has. he is dad now and he should know better than to sneak off in middle of the night to go play poker in a illegal club. he lied and hid it from kim for weeks. past seasons kim would have noticed but now they are back together she is too blind with love ig 🙄 adam is not trustworthy guy. this is not 1st time he lied and kept something from kim. remember in s6 when he kept his relationship with hailey a secret from her for months. then didnt even try to talk to her about it. you know who did. hailey. she talked to kim and jay and apologised to jay when they found out even though she had no reason to apologise to jay. what did adam do when kim found out? he laughed and made fun of her behind her back with hailey 🙄 telling hailey you think they can get me and kim in separate cars. he was being disrespectful and immature trying to avoid kim and treating her like burden she didnt want to be around. i know some are going to bring up roman but that is different. kim didnt keep that secret for week and she never made fun of adam with roman. s6 adam was the fucking worst. he was arrogant, violent, angry. he behave like boy not man. so was s7 adam until miscarriage. during kim’s pregnancy he was misogynistic, possessive and didnt respect her wishes. kim’s miscarriage was both sad and a good thing. good thing for adam because it finally humbled him and made him calm down. he would not have been good dad then. tbh i dont think he really wanted to be dad because only weeks after miscarriage he was partying and sleeping around with girls and told voight he didnt know how to feel about miscarriage. so maybe he was secretly happy about it while kim was clearly devastated. people say kim wasnt mean to adam but imo she wasnt mean enough. she should have been meaner. now in s11 burzek are back together for 6 months. its 5 seasons after s6. 4 months after s7. you think maybe adam grew up and changed. no. still the same 🙄 still lying and keeping secrets from kim. still being reckless. he says he doesnt want to be like bob ruzek. too late. sneaking off in the middle of the night to go play poker in illegal club because he is bored at home is exactly what bob ruzek would do. adam is gambling addict like his dad. remember in 9x06 when kim texted him asking him to buy platypus for mack and he groaned and complained because he didnt want to leave poker game. he values poker more than mack and people still want to pretend he is best dad ever 🙄 burzek are engaged to be married now. bad idea kim. who knows what else hes hiding from her? this episode showed the stable routine life he has with kim and mack is not for him. he needs adventure, chaos, living life on the edge. he looked miserable having dinner with kim and mack and looked more happy playing poker. imo he doesnt love kim. if he did he wouldnt give half ass proposal to her and would have put more effort into it. imo 2 reasons he choose to settle for this life with kim and propose to her. 1 he feels guilty about miscarriage and feels he owes kim. 2 is same reason he bought house. mack. marrying kim will make it easy for him to adopt mack. talking of house isnt it funny when he was with hailey he was ready to buy big, beautiful, fancy, expensive house but for mack he buys a ugly, cheap, old house. is it because hailey is white and mack is black? we know adam is racist because he only ever got rough with black people. remember in s5 when he punched a black guy for insulting white girl hailey. then again in s6 deleted scene he shoved a black guy and put him headlock and made him apologise to hailey. you know what else is funny? in 11x03 a guy gets in kim’s face and calls her a bitch and adam didnt react at all. why? is it because the guy wasnt black or because he gets more upset when its hailey who is insulted? i think if adam proposed to hailey he would have spend more money, time, effort. he treated hailey way much better in the weeks or months they were together than he ever treated kim. he treat hailey like queen. he invite hailey to his cousins party and almost took her on trip to mackinack island with his uncles. when did he ever take kim andor mack to his cousins party or any party? when did he ever take them on trip? never. another red flag from 11x02 is adam saying if he ever lose job he will go to life of crimes. thats not something a dad should say or think ever and its another proof he likes to live life on the edge and needs chaos. in s6 his old friend tell hailey only in chicago can a guy like adam become a cop meaning adam has a criminal past. does kim about his criminal past? there is difference between then and now. he is dad now. but if it really would be easy for him to go back to a life of crimes then he shouldnt be dad 🙄 what if 1 day he is forced to leave job or what if 1 day mack tells him she doesnt want him to be police anymore? is he going to listen to her or is he going to tell her to fuck off? if he does listen is he going to do crimes and soon resent mack? imo this episode show he values the job more than mack and kim just like he values poker more than them. for adam the job and voight comes 1st then poker then mack and hailey then kim

why adam only person who call voight boss? he has hard on for voight. why? its super cringe

why did kim get so much hate for saying my daughter instead of our daughter in 9x15 but nobody hate on adam in 7x11 when he say youre pregnant with my kid instead of our kid? misogyny maybe? nobody was mad at adam for sleeping with another woman only weeks after miscarriage. if kim was sleeping with another man she would get hate no? 🙄

So I started the show for the first time ever 2 weeks ago (Around 6th April) because my Nan said I’d enjoy it and oh boy she wasn’t wrong. I’m enjoying every second of it and already half way through Season 4. Literally on edge of my seat and tense on almost every episode. I love binge watching TV’s shows too so I’m happy there’s plenty of seasons to go through.

Currently watching this show the first time and i’m on s5ep15 where Denny woods daughter is being held captive. I didnt think this girl could be anymore dumb but then I was proven wrong. Your father quite literally told you not to run and do whatever they say. and then her dumbass tries to run as if those people didn’t have guns. like did you really think you were gonna out run a bullet?!?? If she didn’t show up in the first place, it wouldn’t have gone down like that.

So im on season 4 episode 19. As i watch each episode I realize that he isn’t a bad person. He really wants justice for those done wrong but sometimes he does it in a very…unethical way. Literally Batman. Good guy. Unusually strange methods. That was my CPD rant of the day lol.

I feel like it would have been a good if they kept Lexi alive and she went to police academy and then later was on patrol and eventually joins intelligence. They love killing people off, or writing them out badly. It kinda would have made sense to keep some family in. Hank would still have someone to look out for now that Erin/Al/Justin/Jay and Antonio are all gone. I feel like in long serving shows there's always a disconnect when the "main" people leave and your having to introduce the audience to a bunch of new people that may or may not be the right fit. This can sometimes be a the detriment of the show because the audience is no longer invested. I didnt mind Hank or anyone doing dirty policeing when I knew it was personal and for the right reasons.

So I’m watching CPD and of course I’m up to this tragic episode, people told me to watch SVU S:16 E:20 Daydream Believer and I just did but it was just about some kids in a school involving Child p***??

I’m in Australia and watching on prime video if this helps, I just really need to know what happens to the love of my life. 😭

Just some thoughts i had…

• PD hast gotten really dark compared to the other seasons.. sure there were some gruesome storylines but the characters are suffering in such a raw way it’s sometimes hard to watch and gives u this uncomfortable feeling (for example haileys whole arc since jay left or kims ptsd or this new serial killer). The actors are killing it but i miss the lighter times where i was more excited to watch the show

• with tracys upcoming exit honestly the upstead divorce was unnecessary ( just for the show and the fans). I mean obv Jay was a really bad husband but just give the fans one last thing before she leaves. And also redeem jays character and his exit while you’re at it. Now i could imagine (especially with jesse being on set) that we’re gonna get upstead engame IF they decide not to kill hailey, which is honestly still in the cards the way her character is going.

• I like the new detective Jo. I think she is different, and that brings a new dynamic to the unit.. plus i really like the profiler angle, could be really interesting. I also think she could have an interesting backstory. Ofc the drinking is a big issue but it’s not the first time someone in intellegence had issues like that (antonio, erin) And erin did overcome it eventually with the help of voight and the team sooo…

• PROMOTE KEVIN !?!

• i hope we’re going to see gloria again. I honestly like her and torres :) But i want him to be open about it with voight so he realizes that that’s the wrong way of handling CIs and stuff bc thats still not okay.

• i want a kev lovestory and a kev storyline that’s not only one or two eps, give him a season arc

• i just want a nice burzek wedding without any drama . Ik its a drama tv show but i just want them to be happy and carefree for one day. Ik the weddings gonna happen in season 12 but a jay&and hailey (hoping that she doesn’t die) cameo would be nice + hopefully we’ll get an Al mention by adam
