One thing for certain, two things for sure: if you're a CI in the intelligence unit, count your days.
I guess voight almost got killed and where is burgess and hailey and the guy with the horseshoe mustache ?
I like al, why did that son a bitch shank him?
Especially when he was in prison with practically no real evidence
Dawson, Let It Go!
I have to say, I’m pretty fed up with Dawson's attitude lately. It seems like every time we turn around, he’s acting like a baby over Ruzek not listening. We get it—Ruzek has his flaws and doesn’t always take advice, but constantly bringing it up is not going to change that.
Thats gross! Thats all.
I'm on season 1 and they seem to do a lot of interrogation and police brutality along with raids. I feel like if a lot of these criminals went to trial they could walk due to lack of physical evidence and police brutality claims. Maybe I've been watching to much law and order and blue bloods but It seems to me that they don't have the strongest cases they could
I just started binge watching Chicago PD and am currently in the middle of S5. I had high hopes for Burgess after Erin left but her character is so emotionally unhinged. Does she get better or is she “Natalie” (from Chicago Med) of Chicago PD? lol
*UPDATE: her character improved in the next episode. Why are the show writers like this?! Let her be chill and confident, not this back and forth nonsense.
Ngl i was genuinely scared for her, booth is one nasty piece of shit.
Hello,
I can’t remember the episode, but their is a scene obviously after Jay leave, and voight tell Hailey, that she is allowed to move on from him even if she still love him ??
I can’t remember the episode ?
It makes no sense to me that everyone is scared to go to voight with there problems like he wouldn’t kill someone’s for anyone on his unit 😂 example being when Erin had that problem with that one dude Charlie and when adam was being pushed around by Denny woods. All they had to do was go to voight and he would have helped them out of it. Jay went to voight right away.
Al calls Kim a badge bunny for dating Adam and Sean. But wait a minute—she wears a badge herself!
I’m not sure about the laws in the USA, but where I live, sleeping with someone under a false identity is legally considered rape. So, I'm confused about how Jay, a supposedly upstanding cop, not only slept with her under these circumstances but was in a relationship with her. This is especially baffling given that he ‘got her brother killed’—though I say that in quotes because Luis put himself in that situation when he kidnapped a child. Still, Jay must have felt guilty, and then he does this to Luis’s sister, who just lost her brother?
Then, when she’s charged with being an accessory to murder, he does absolutely nothing to help her. To make things worse, Hailey goes all out on Camila, showing zero empathy and even threatening to ‘end her’ if she revealed the truth about her relationship with Jay.
This episode made me really dislike Jay and Hailey. And I used to really like Jay.
Update: I just googled and it is rape in the USA too, it is called Rape by Deception. And you all focusing on her being a drug dealer (as if this makes it ok to rape her) but you are forgetting he didn’t know it. He deceived her, slept with her and made her love him all while pretending to be somebody else and for what? It just ruined the character for me.
Can someone explain jin’s death and his backstory and why everyone hated him it seemed like?
I've never really watched early 'Chicago PD' apart from the crossover episodes with 'SVU,' but I decided to dive straight into Season 9. That got me curious, and I started from the beginning. Now that I'm in Season 2, all I can say is, 'What the hell is Jay's problem?
They need to make ruzek funny again, I’m rewatching season 1 and he was actually pretty funny throughout the season. I feel like now he is always mad or serious.
Opinions?
back when petrovic was introduced it felt obvious that they were going to introduce her as the replacement for hailey but that didn’t end up happening. i’m curious if anyone would’ve actually preferred her over cook. i personally don’t, i like cook a lot more. i just feel like petrovic’s storyline was really convoluted and it didn’t help that it was intertwined with hailey which we know there was a over-saturation of hailey in the show. i think i would've been more open to petrovic if she interacted more with the other characters. to me she just read as a bit stale. cook got a great introduction with adam. and a mysterious follow up episode with torres. i look forward to her future
What character really annoys you on the show?
For me, it's Jordan Atwater! Kevin is a badass but his bro is beyond infuriating and childish throughout.
Why have crossovers specifically in Chicago pd seemed to end? Dont hear from any people in the CFD or med series: Chicago fire still has the odd inclusion of people across the Chicago series
I love when they keep the camera pointed mostly just on whomever is the centric character of the episode; even when other main characters are speaking, as though they are just background. Ex: opening scene of 12:5.
So prime has up to season 9, but everything after that needs a US based something (paid or free). I’m based in Portugal and can’t find anything on any platform (and the vpns wont work)… help!
I’ve found them on Amazon and Apple T, etc… but the second I cant get around the US thing, well… i cant watch it
Any advice?
This woman is a top notch producer and actor and is absolutely GORGEOUS.
How can someone look at such a beautiful woman and say “she needs 5 pounds of foundation and we aren’t going to even look at which bottle we grab.”
Seriously though, last season was kind of a bore with that writers strike but I can’t be the only one who thinks the season so far is absolutely amazing. Every single episode has me shook and in serious suspense which is exactly what I’m looking for with this show. I love the new addition Kiana and knew from her first appearance, that she’d be back. All the chicago shows are bringing the heat this year. Or is it just me?
