A positive post as 6 months ago our pup got diagnosed with angular limb deformity in both front legs. The vets weren’t sure he’d ever be able to run/be normal even after an expensive surgery. We managed to raise enough money though, and 6 months on he’s full of energy and is a brand new pup! Worth every penny to see him happy ❤️🩹
Rescued this little guy yesterday whose lived outside his whole life (estimated to be about 10 weeks from the vet), decided to name him Maverick! We have no idea what breed(s) he could be, any guesses on what his breed is my first guess was maybe part german shepherd or Belgian malinois, he's majority brindle coloring,
He's a 12 week old pointer/shepard mix. We can't get enough of him!
I read that it could be stress but also that puppys breathe faster than adults in general especially when asleep, i would just hate for him to feel anxious i always sleep with my head towards to cage to soothe him with talking or putting my hand through the crate (if he is older il let him sleep in a dogbed but rn he isnt 100% potty trained and likes to eat cat litter 😭 so he has to be in a crate but his foster said he is fine with it, he does sleep through the night) but the heavy breathing/panting makes me anxious) is it normal? He went potty before going to bed and i try to not let him drink water 1hr before going to sleep.
Pearl is 18 weeks old and she’s by far the smartest dog I’ve ever had, despite being a bully breed
14 wk Malshi, Princess Buttercup
It’s a good thing he’s cute
yes i know she is a puppy. i understand she is going to bite. my main concern is she is biting my older dogs face and my older dog is too sweet to bite her back back will snarl at puppy, act like she will bite but wont, jump into my lap to save her from puppy’s terror, run away lol. they get their own separate times and the puppy is separated from the older dog when it becomes too much so the older dog gets space.
what is the best way to separate puppy when it gets too crazy. put her in the crate? put her outside? bat her nose?
we don’t spank, yell at either dogs. but we do correct and redirect as best we can.

Since she did so well on her first long car ride we let her have a few licks of her first pup cup!
