We are now under new management!

Hey Everyone,

I'm u/theSorcerersSource and I am the new mod of r/brooms. It is my vision to turn this into a sub for those who enjoy making, discussing, and trading broomsticks within the cosplay, fantasy, and collector communities. I myself make and sell brooms online. Here are the new rules:

  1. No spam. You MAY sell brooms here, but must be formatted properly. Sales may not be posted more than once per day.
    1. The format is [Location][Price][Broom Name]
    2. Sales MUST Include pictures with the date of posting shown in at least one of the pictures on something like a piece of paper
    3. NO sales of Alibaba brooms or other mass produced brooms.
  2. You MAY post broom related cosplays here, however they must be SFW.
  3. Any NSFW content will result in an immediate ban.
  4. No politics
  5. No trolling, hate speech, harassment, targeting, etc. Simply put, don't be a jerk.
  6. Videos are allowed, but they must be on topic and related to broom production, reviews, etc.
  7. Have fun and always remember the person behind the reddit account. r/brooms should be a positive place that embraces redditors from all backgrounds, lifestyles, age groups, genders, etc. Any targeting or harassment based on these things will result in an immediate ban.

Finally if you have any suggestions for how to improve the sub, please comment it below. I'm actively brainstorming some new flairs, sub themes, etc.

Also a fair warning to those selling items here. If you produce replicas of anything trademarked, copyrighted, etc., you may potentially put yourself into legal jeopardy. I would strongly advise against creating something identical to anything that may fall under the intellectual property umbrella of a major studio or corporation if you intend to sell it. However I am not a lawyer and you should do your own research.
