hi! my puppy is about 15 weeks old. Border collie. He’s also deaf which makes it harder. Basically the only issue I have with him is protectiveness and aggression. I have trained him to spin and sit while I hold a treat which he does no problem, but as soon as I lower my hand he strikes for my hand and once he finishes it he will strike for my hand again and will growl at me, really biting into my hand. Same goes for when I’m eating. He will jump up and when I point no, he will again growl and bite into my hand. I’ve started to lay the treat down on the floor that way he doesn’t attack me but is this normal for puppies? How do I stop him being so aggressive to me? Thank you.

My 16 week old BC puppy is typically very even tempered, but we've been struggling with leash pulling and nippy biting on walks, morning or night.
We're currently aiming for 20-30min walks twice a day, 6AM and 7PM, probably half of that is sniffing. Usually towards the end he starts getting a little fed up with leash walking and a bit nippy.
We're on a 1 hour up, 2 hours down schedule, with crate enforced naps between 2-4 and then through the night from 12-6, with a potty break at 3AM. When he's in his up hours, we're doing some crate feeding, petting, 1-2 short training sessions and maybe 20min or so in the garden sniffing, chasing, recall. At the moment his feeding is a lot of treat trays, puzzles, teething toys to keep his brain stimulated. We've been doing some leash training in the drive to get him accustomed to walking beside me on a loose leash.
I'm thinking of potentially reducing the two walks and adding a third 5-10min sniffing walk in middle of the day.
Does any kind soul have words of wisdom if they had a similar experience with their pup?
gotta love this dude!
I asked on a different sub reddit and got no help. My BC was spay on 20 January and today it looks like this. I have wiped it down and all. Just dry skin on the sides.
My beautiful BC has started a low growl with high value food and this is upsetting. He is 2 years old. I don’t know why or how to stop it. Anyone else had this problem?
Anyone else’s B/C bring toys to bed? Every night, when I tell him it’s bedtime, he goes to his toy box & grabs a toy to bring up with him. This is what it looks like after a week or so of this. It’s really the cutest thing. 😍
I'm being watched
We just walked for 4km (2.5mi) and he’s resting like this. Won’t last though, but will get through the day until afternoon walk/playtime.
I can’t tell if it’s a true bunny hop (hip dysplasia) or I’m just paranoid. She’s only 10 months old and loves to run around and act nuts so it doesn’t seem like she’s in pain but I also don’t think that would stop her. At the end of the video it kind of looks like she has a hard time stopping on a dime too but that also could just be me overthinking.
