Does anybody remember the Comedy Central show Ugly Americans?

It was one of my favorite animated comedies and I just get very similar vibes from this show. That show also didn't seem to gel with people but I hope this show does better.

For some reason, I think it'd be really funny if there was a musical episode

It's such a fun trope that I'd love to see this show do at some point

Why do I hear Will Arnett and not Jon Hamm?

Is it just me?

The Chief is drawn weirdly

Looking at the art of this show is really different from most shows. But a few characters are drawn weirdly. Mostly I am talking about Chief Stamos. Her legs and arms are really long and unnerving.

Grimsburg is not very good

Thought about typing out a critique but all in all it’s just not very good. The problem is John Hamm’s narcissism, mediocre writing, and boring unimaginative animation.

Edit: I have sort of changed my mind, I guess it’s okay

What are your favorite lines from the show so far? Like they get stuck in your head?

For me, it's "Make him dumpier!" and "The award is undercover as a clock."

Alan Tudyk is the best!

I know him from so many different shows, but he's also in Grimsburg! He's Mr. Flesh *and Dr. Pentos. What can't this man do?

Who's your favorite character?

For me, Stan has been the best part of the show so far, but I'm interested in hearing other people's opinions.

He looks familiar..

Is Grimsburg a retooled Stroker?

And to make this a little more content heavy I'll add: I bet the skeleton isn't a figment, and becomes a separate character. This shows Snuffaluffacus if you will.

The TV commercial for this show caused me to re-add "(I Just) Died in Your Arms Tonight" by Cutting Crew to my playlist.

That is all.

Any hardcore grimsburg fans yet?

I know only the pilot is out but I wanted to know how everyone felt about this show. I don’t typically watch adult animation on fox, but I saw a meme comparing the cast to characters from the game “disco Elysium” which made me want to check it out.

I was worried this show might end up like a generic animated sitcom but it has some good humor in it. Although one of my problems with the pilot was that it felt as if it was selling all the characters as the wacky one. I couldn’t get a feel for most of the side characters apart from the son and the music teacher, everyone just kept giving eccentric quips.

I’m not sure if I’m going to regularly watch this series but I think I’ll try to catch up with it every now and then to see if it does anything particularly great

The Pilot Episode Absolutely sucked....

Nothing better to Add to the Conversation. The "Best" Parts of this Sh.tStain of a Sh.tShow are the 'Bit Parts' Voiced by Alan Tudyk, & it's undeniably Still not enough to Salvage that Pilot.

Shame on the people who GreenLit this Garbage & everyone who've been a part of it since.

It's not necessarily unsalvageable but I doubt that anyone would ever be willing to Actually provide any funding necessary to Salvage this...
