What are your honest thoughts about Samu Omorodion?

Atleti bought the player about 6 months ago. His market value quickly increased from around 4 million Euros to 40 million in 6 months. So far he scored 9 goals and provided 1 assist this season. What are your thoughts about the 19 yo Nigerian-Spanish striker?

Potential partial stadium closure vs Celta

Hey guys, just wanted to see if anybody's seen any news on specifically which parts of stadium will be closed for the game in a couple of weeks, if the club's appeal against the punishment is unsuccessful?

I have t*ckets(censoring the word to try to avoid getting messages from bots/scammers) for a section at the edge of lateral oeste, next to fondo sur but not actually -in- fondo sur, if that makes sense. Really hoping we don't have to miss the game, haven't been in Madrid since around April 2022 so I've not been able to see any matches in person for a while now.

Better player?,for me always Llorente and I won't let Arthur be on bench so he is the 3rd option

Atleti will have transfer budget around 70mil without selling Felix when we qualify for next season if we will be in top 4 this season

How 70? then my logic is 70 mil= if 30 mil out of 50 mil allotted from board for wc qualification,20 mil alloted out of 120 mil from la liga tv deal rights,20 ucl money we got from reaching quater finals now I know board is greedy but please allow this budget or I will cry

Do you see a massive transfer window in the summer if you don't make champions league? (From a liverpool fan)

Atletis recent transfer business has not been great. I am not sure how atleti fans rate th3se players but de paul, molina, cunha etc. Are all quality buys, maybe doesn't fit atletis system but all are players with quality

Then you have the deplorable signings like witsel and soyuncu. Simply not title winning caliber especially at their current level. La Real and Athletic Bilbao all have a chance of taking 4th off you. So my question to you is: will there be a massive transfer window if there is no champions league revenue? That revenue is massive yo a clubs continued financial stability and losing out on it can hurt massively. Look at how our transfer window went the minute we didn't get top 4, if we didn't get top 4 in 2020/2021 we would have seen a transfer window of similar sp3nding and quantity.

As a football fan not affiliated with Atlético, I wonder why El Cholo is the coach of Atlético with such a high salary? (sincere interest).

Thoughts on Sorloth and Gaya?

Sorloth is close to finishing his third season in La Liga with over 20 goals in one of the worst Villareal teams I've seen. This would be his 3rd season with constant progress. He's also the player with the most goals from open play this season with 17. 3 more than Dovbyk, who is top scorer but has 5 PKs boosting his tally. I think he's at a great age to give us 3 top-level seasons and possibly more since speed is one of his many attributes so he could carry on scoring even as he ages. I think he would be a great option to rotate with or even pair with Samu next season.

And Gaya. We desperately need a LB. This guy is as solid as you can get for his price tag, given his team is Valencia.

Thoughts?

When the recent stats showed that Atleti only invested 38.3 million in transfers in 13 years. Makes you appreciate Simeone more.

38 million is when you get our total players that we sold and deduct them from our bought players you get 38.3 million which is really low for a club in the top 15 in the world.

Truth has to be told. Simeone did wonders for the club, our revenues tripled, he got us 2 LaLigas, other domestic and European trophies, helped us reach finals twice and helped us qualify for CL in 11 consecutive years which is something never seen before. All of this with such a low investment in transfers. I'd like just to imagine what he would have done if the board invested more on quality transfers. When Ancelotti said he is the toughest coach i faced in Laliga he fucking meant it. Guy is a genius. I hope the board realize what a gem they have and start pumping some fucking cash in quality players, he'll do wonders.
