Hello,
my friend and I are diehard Atleti fans. We desperately want to actually witness a game in person at the Metropolitano, especially the game against Barcelona but tbh, any game is fine. We were wondering how one would come to get tickets, especially since we are from Germany and if it is even possible without being a club member (which we would be open to change)
Well that was way too long for such a question, thank you in advance!
Vamos Atleti!
In the 2000s Atletico was rarely in the top 4. They were usually behind clubs like Valencia and Deportiva La corunia, they were even relgated at one point. They spent 2 years in division 2.
Simeone has finished top 3 in 12 consecutive seasons and he won a few titles to go with it. This club isnt really supposed to be able to compete with barca and fake madrid. Those clubs have all the money and all the global fans. Atletico being able to establish itself as a legit part of a big three in spain over the past decade is a great success and difficiult achievement. He has built what is the Atletico brand today. Even though they lost the 2 finals I think making those champions league runs really helped develop the respect and branding of the club. Not to mention having so many famous victories in the ucl knock out stages. On top of all that he won 2 europa leagues and 1 copa del rey. My conclusion is that as long as they can qualify for ucl and also get to ucl knock out stages then it is a succesful season and he shouldnt be replaced. Its very easy to think that things can be better, but dont ignore that things could easily go backwards.
Theres many examples of clubs that were consistent then they fired a long term manager and they fell badly. Look at where Valencia is now, and even clubs like West ham who was solid under Moyes but now look very poor. You also have Liverpool who fired a very succesful experienced guy like Benitez in favor of a few unproven managers, which caused them to collapse for almost a decade.
Following Pablo Barrios's return, and good news regarding Le Normand, Marcos Llorente and Cesar Azpilicueta have made a return to normal team training.
We could see RLN still sidelined until our game against Alavés at home after the international break, for precautionary methods. So he wont travel to Mallorca for Sunday's game.
Other than that, reported Lemar who was injured is still out but im not able to find a good report so I may be wrong. It would help if someone could rectify this
PSG fan here. Congratulations guys, very competitive match especially from Oblak, but as a PSG fan who follows Atlético i wanted to congratulate you all for this comeback and happy for Cholo as well. Good game and hope you guys continue to perform.
Such a underrated player by none Atleti fans. This man always steps up when needed,is on a relatively small wage andnever makes any problems.I wish we had more players like him that don't mind sitting on the bench and are also clutch.

I think he's pretty great. He's got the speed, he exerts good pressure, contributes defensively and does his offensive duties quite well. He was an important asset for Alaves last year. Obviously he has a lot to still improve, he's still very young.
Honest thoughts and potential?
Atleti 2 - 0 Las Palmas
I love this club so so much, the joy this team has brought me is immeasurable. Regardless of your opinions on him, Cholo is undeniably one of if not the biggest legend in the history of the club, having won titles with us as a player and coach and turning our club into a truly elite club.
He has been with us since 2011, when Giuliano had just turned 10. Imagine being a kid and your father is the coach of Atlético Madrid and you want to be a professional footballer. The thought of playing under your father would just be so nice that you would scarcely dare to even dream of it.
The fact that this man has overcome his ACL injury, worked incredibly hard to get to the first team, and has just scored his first goal for this club, is just so beautiful. I am so so happy. I love you Giuliano, Aupa Atléti ❤️🤍❤️🤍❤️
