Hey there Bees fans! Nate Schwartz here. I’m a local documentarian working on a project with Leicester Productions (https://www.leicesterproductions.com/) to capture the end of an era with our Bees and their residency at Smith’s Ballpark.
I’m writing this note because I’m hoping to connect with fans who attended the team’s final game at Smith’s Ballpark and would be willing to share their experiences and reflections with me. I’m interested in hearing about your personal history with the Bees and what this relocation means to you. Are you planning to make the drive down to Daybreak to watch them? Why/why not? What are you going to miss most about Smith’s Ballpark?
If you’re open to being part of this story and sharing your perspective on camera, please respond to this post and/or shoot me a DM! Thanks for the consideration, and I look forward to hearing from y’all!
Best,
Nate
I just moved from So. Cal to Reno 6 months ago. Life long Angels fan, so by default, I'm a Bees fan too. Since I'm no longer close to the Big A, I will have to attend Aces games when the Bees are in town.
Went to fan day at Aces stadium on Saturday where they allow fans to explore the stadium. Amd checked out the view behind the away dugout and bought tickets for the June 2nd game and will probably buy June 1st game too.
Anyway. What should I know about the team and their history? Will be my first time attending a minor league game since I've always lived close to the Big A.
Also. Anyone else attending those 2 games?
I heard something about how there’s a new player’s agreement and the team can’t sell trading cards anymore? Anywho, I was wondering if anyone has an unopened 2023 pack they’d be willing to sell?
If we’re looking at a 1pm game, where in the stadium will be shady for the most time?
I've been considering buying season tickets next year (or maybe half season). I was just wondering how many of you have done so and how was the experience?
Any multiple year holders?
Heading to the day game tomorrow, I usually go to the night games. I’m hoping to get some help on what sections will be in the shade the most tomorrow. Thanks for any help.
Hi friends I'm going to Bee's game tmmrw since I live in Sac I'm mainly a Angels fan but was curious if there's any players i should keep an eye out to watch on the Bee's right now. Thanks friends and go Bee's!!
Does anyone know if there are any vegetarian options at Smiths ballpark? We have tickets to tonight's game but some of us may have to eat before we go.
Angels PR (@LAAngelsPR) Tweeted: MINOR UPDATES: LHP Reid Detmers and RHP Chris Rodriguez have been promoted to Triple-A Salt Lake. https://twitter.com/LAAngelsPR/status/1418273870012985351?s=20
Does anyone know if there is a giveaway schedule for this season? I missed the free hats that they passed out this weekend because I didn't know it was a thing. I have only found promotional schedules with thirsty Thursday and family Monday.
Initials are B.A.M. Please DM me if you believe it is yours.
