Is 2024 and 90's Games are still Top tier...

...3 games to be exact are part of this list. And no it's not nostalgia in my opinion.

Name of Video Game with Gremlin Creatures

I remember this one PC game I used to play that had gremlin-looking characters.. I kept thinking it was sort of a scary-looking creature, but maybe it was the cute gremlins after all. Either way, I remember it raining a lot in the game, and from what I remember it was an adventure game. I'm starting to wonder if it was a fever-dream LOL

90s Animal space game??

i’m trying to find this game i used to play on my parents pc when i was very very young. i can barely remember much of it. all i remember is you could choose to be a boy or a girl i’m pretty sure you were a type of animal. it was open world somewhat, and there was this main hub area it kinda looks like an arcade but i’m not 100% sure but i do remember vividly you could go to this field and talk to a npc and catch firefly’s or some sort of bug with a net. that’s all i can really remember. i know your character was wearing a spacesuit and you could talk to other npcs. please help i’ve been trying to find this game for years 😭😭

Trying all these for the first time!

So I recently had a thought that it would be cool to go back and play some of the most popular 90s games I missed out on. I was born in ‘97 and luckily had a chance to play a few major ones, but these were off the radar up until I got older. I never had a chance to sit and play them but with my new interest in streaming, it’s the perfect time!

I always enjoyed the times when we’d all just sit with friends in person and play something to appreciate how we’re all experiencing something for the first time. Kinda what I’m trying to emulate. If you’re interested at all, I’m booting up the OG Doom this coming Friday around 9a CST.

Appreciate it! twitch.tv/rjosephrod

Help me find the game!

OK, here is a challenge for you. I played a videogame in the 90s when I was a kid and I absolutely loved it! But I can't for the life of me remember what it was called.

I played this game on pc and it had two discs to play two seperate characters. One character was a lizard called Sid(?). And the other character was a blonde woman wearing red, and she had ridiculously huge boobs (I forger her name). You had to go around the world, talk to the people, pick stuff up and work out how to use the stuff to progress through the game. It was kind of like a puzzle game. I remember there was a dragon in it, and it had the ring wraiths from lord of the rings. The game is supposed to be comedic. I can't remember anymore than this.

Hope you guys can help me out. It has been bothering me for such a long time.

HELP WITH PC CAR GAME

This pc game that I played as a kid was like a driver's license test game. I remember it would have us start from the beginning if we got an answer wrong...we would have to do stops, yielding, (all the must do's when driving), we could pick up pedestrians and drop them off to their destination. it definitely wasn't a racing game. Does anyone know what that pc game was called?

Hadouken like move

I been trying to find the move and game for years. There was one fighter that had a hadouken type move but it looked like a tiger faced fireball and when he performed the move how said tigeroogahday (trying to spell how it sounded to me) I'm pretty sure it was a neo-geo game. Does anyone remember this game?

What classic 90's games are a must-play?

Hello Reddit,

I am about to embark on a personal journey and would love to have your input. As a child, I always enjoyed watching my dad and brother play video games, but girls in my family were not encouraged to play games or assert their independence. My role was more about being a caretaker, which led me down a very traditional path.

Now, I am in a different chapter of my life and free to explore my own interests. I have recently rekindled my love for gaming, especially the older RPGs. I just finished playing Chrono Trigger, and loved exploring all the alternative endings. My fiance, who used to be a streamer, suggested we start back streaming as I discover these classic games, sort of like reclaiming the childhood and girlhood I missed out on.

I am particularly drawn to games from the 90s, as they hold a nostalgic value for me. I know my dad and brother were big Zelda fans. I am reaching out to this community for suggestions on what classic 90's games are a must-play. I am especially interested in RPGs, but open to all genres.

Thank you in advance for helping me build this list and for being a part of my journey to reclaim a piece of my past.

Cant remember this pc game from 90s

It was isometric where you wou have to walk around and solve puzzles. You got instructions from a scientist or professor who was on the cover of the cd case. It was more of a kids game. One of the covers of the cd case was the professor//scientist on one side facing off against a humanoid ant creature on the other side. The person you controlled was wearing like deep sea diving suit. An old fashioned one with the big round metal helmet but i remember walking around in the woods more than anything.

Please help me find game

As a kid there was a game I always use to play but cannot find it, been looking for months, not sure if it came out in the 90s or 2000s. It was on a disk that had 2 or 3 mini games about fantasy, mainly dragons. One was a side scroller where you played as a small dragon (not sure) and fought a large dragon dodging the attacks. The other mini game I played was a top down flighting game, each mob on the map you ran into you are sent to a dungeon to run around and fight. It definitely looked like off-brand lego in that mini game. Would really love to find it again

Trying to remember an old arcade game

Arcade game. Fantasy, dungeons and dragons-type setting. Combat is always first person view. The controls are like, move the joystick to attack or block an attack. The game would indicate if an attack would come from the left or right, so you would move accordingly.

Pls help me find this game

Retro 2D game, there were short characters, using magical spells, i dont know the console i think it was SNES, i also remember the game was featured on mame32, one of the characters was a purple wizard, one was a black ninja(or something like that), and i think there was a pink girl character.

Also i remember there was a gray castle mission they were trying to reach the top, and i think the person playing with the character was fighting the other characters to reach the top, but the game was not like tekken style.

Please help me find this game I've been searching it for 10+ years i can't find it anywhere

90s Games

I’ve been trying to remember a very old pc game I used to play after school. The only thing I could remember is that it’s called “Blazt” and is an adventure game that looks like a spin off of bomberman but it’s not. Does anybody remember this game?

Name the Game

I remember playing a demo game within a PlayStation game (maybe Tomb Raider) where you fight on a small map. I think the game was called War and it had a Rhino looking character and and an airplane looking character. Anyways I know I’m super vague but I have struggled to find a reference online to even remotely remind me of what it was. Any ideas?
