Looking for an old screen saver

It was most likely after dark. It was lines of code and messages and a face every now and then would lean in so you could barely see it. It had a crazy sound . Any idea on what it was?

ZOOM GATHERING: Creator of the Commodore 64 Direct-to-TV - JERI ELLSWORTH !

By now, most of you know that the Commodore 64 was the best-selling single model personal computer of the 20th century. It was such a popular computer, Commodore manufactured it virtually up until it went bankrupt in 1994, ending a spectacular 12-year production run. Just due to the sheer numbers sold, you likely owned or knew someone who owned a C64. With a staggering library of games numbering in the thousands, the C64 created great memories for its millions of users worldwide.

In 2004, a game console was released to rekindle those memories. Called the C64 Direct-to-TV, it was a fantastic single-chip implementation of the Commodore 64 computer, entirely contained in a joystick. Players simply plugged the joystick into their TV to enjoy reliving their memories with 30 games built into the console. The demand for this console was staggering - the shopping channel QVC sold 70,000 units on the first day alone!

Meet Jeri Ellsworth - creator of the C64 DTV. The Zoom meeting takes place on Thursday, November 16, 2023 - 7:30PM ET.

Free to attend - more details here:

https://www.tpug.ca

Please subscribe and watch it later on YouTube if you can't attend the meeting:

(LXR Devlog #2) what is the best SBC currently on the market?

Hey, we've just released our devlog#2, this week we focus on the reference configuration for LXR, our AR Laptop for productivity (https://innoverse.substack.com/p/lxr-devlog-2-crafting-a-reference).

We opted for the Khadas Edge 2 as our SBC (https://www.khadas.com/edge2).

At this stage, we feel it offers a very good compromise between performance/size for integration into our ergonomic split keyboard.

But, maybe you have better suggestions!
As we would like to make it compatible with many SBCs, which one would you recommend?

Thanks for your input!
